21/09/2025: Great food and excellent service

20/09/2025: We found it by chance and it won us over with its food and hospitality. Everything was excellent and the atmosphere was super welcoming.

15/10/2025: We return to this restaurant after a few years, and the atmosphere and hospitality have not changed. We listen carefully as Lorenzo explains the menu and decide on the classic truffle menu, of course. We pair our dishes with a Montefalco. We end the evening with a pleasant surprise: since there's no dessert on the menu, they let us choose: tiramisu 😋. A beautiful and delicious return.

14/10/2025: An elegant restaurant, with very attentive staff (the complimentary liqueur at the end was much appreciated), and I must say, very attentive to their friends too. Remarkable quality dishes, and they definitely don't skimp on the use of truffles. PS: I'd return to Perugia just to try those truffle ravioli again.

02/10/2025: Wonderful restaurant with outdoor seating between old houses. The best food we've had in Umbria so far, authentic Umbrian cuisine. Excellent staff and service. Highly recommended as an alternative to all the restaurants in Perugia!

27/09/2025: Excellent small restaurant in the little village Mantignana nearby Perugia. The atmosphere of both the village as well as the restaurant is great. Chef Diego is clear, loud, friendly and helpfull. The dinner is great. We took the vegatarian menu which comprises of 5 dishes. All was delicious. Our dog (quiet and nice) was very welcome. The only downside i can think of is the speed of serving the dishes. They work with two shifts on an evening, so i think they speed up a little. Anyway i can highly recommend this restaurant.

13/09/2025: I've been coming to Pecchiarda for 40 years and immediately noticed the change of pace. The menu features gourmet dishes. The already lovely place is well-maintained, and the renovations that were underway are about to expand with a new veranda. The wait staff is extremely friendly, and the prices are reasonable. However, in the end, what we ate didn't live up to expectations. The dishes definitely need improvement (stringozzi with too much oil, too much garlic, and sour tomato, game mousse with too much vinegar, pine nut ice cream, and grainy salted caramel). The house wine is good. Good luck.

12/10/2025: Very welcoming — great service! Beautiful views, kind people and delicious food. My husband loved his ricotta herb ravioli and they made me special alfredo pasta with egg-free noodles which I appreciated. Tasty roasted vegetables. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

20/09/2025: Highly recommended. I love this place for its value and ambiance; the upstairs veranda is lovely. The tagliata steak is excellent; we'll definitely be back.

23/08/2025: Exceptional! Fantastic ambiance, very attentive and friendly staff! The food was incredibly delicious and very special. A bit on the higher end of the price range, but it was worth every cent. We had a wonderful evening with outstanding food, and the wine was also top-notch. Absolutely recommend it! I would definitely make a reservation, but it's no problem at all to make a reservation by phone.

21/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful time. The restaurant is welcoming and elegant, the staff exceptional and incredibly kind. The food left us speechless, truly excellent. They even gave us the option of taking our second course with us since our daughter was very tired. It was the perfect end to our vacation. Thank you.

05/10/2025: This osteria is a must-try if you're in the Trevi area, but as a Perugian, I'd say it's definitely worth the trip from the surrounding area. The restaurant is small, intimate, and welcoming, furnished with care and good taste; the welcome is friendly, with just the right amount of informality that makes you feel immediately at home. All the dishes, from appetizers to desserts, honor the authentic flavors of Umbrian cuisine, thanks in part to the use of excellent local ingredients (for example, we were lucky enough to visit during the black celery season; it was the first time we'd tried it, and we weren't disappointed at all!) An experience definitely worth repeating. I'm giving it 5 stars only because I can't give more!

04/10/2025: A friend who already knew the place took me there for dinner in October. We tried the crostini, the gricia di bosco, the black celery cannelloni, and the parmigiana... we can't say which dish was better!!! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

10/08/2025: We dined at the tables along the alleyway of the restaurant, a truly lovely place. We arrived very late, but even though the kitchen was about to close, they warmly welcomed us in. The food was simple, home-made, and very good. We had a plate of grandma's meatballs, some typical local sausages, a plate of potatoes, and a plate of really good vegetables. We drank two glasses of red wine and a bottle of sparkling water and paid €54. Recommended place for a simple but tasty dinner.

11/09/2025: Great food, decent prices, great service. The staff speaks english. We payed 33 euro for 2 pizzas, 2 aperol spritzes, and a bottle of water. EDIT. It was so good that we came back the next day and had an antipasti and a foccacia to share. Both great!

04/09/2025: It must have been a bad night, but the pizza had sour stracciatella. The fried food was good, except that half the cauliflower in the batter was raw. The staff was very friendly.
