29/03/2026: We discovered this restaurant today and were absolutely blown away by it. The atmosphere is very pleasant and spacious, with comfortable tables and seating. The welcome is courteous, friendly, and always accompanied by a warm smile (something that's not always a given). The menu is rich and comprehensive, offering both seafood and meat dishes. The wine list is extensive and comprehensive, with a surprising variety. We are seafood lovers, and I must say the whole family was thrilled with the exquisite dishes we ate. In the photo, you can see the "Risotto with scampi and shrimp, citrus fruits, and stracciata cheese." It was absolutely delicious! As were the appetizers and everything else. In short, we left this magnificent little place feeling HAPPY and grateful. The prices are absolutely fair for the excellent quality of the food. We will definitely be back. 05/04/2026: Went there for easter sunday dinner. Had the easter menu. The plini pasta dish was delicious but the lamb was unfortunately very disappointing. Dry but still oily and bland. Also had a taste of some spaghetti dish… meh. Probably just go for the pizza next time…

29/03/2026: Excellent cuisine and super friendly staff! We had lunch twice in a few days, trying different dishes, and we were never disappointed. Quite the opposite... Everything was excellent and plentiful. We didn't try the pizza because the kitchen monopolized the selection with traditional dishes. Maybe next time.

09/04/2026: We ate at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. Excellent value for money. They also serve pizza for lunch. Delicious platters with local cheeses and cured meats. Friendly and welcoming staff. We'll be back...

01/04/2026: An experience to forget! Don't be fooled by the reviews. The place is so dated, so chaotic you can't even converse, the pizzas are bad and undercooked, the beers are flat, and the coffee is nonexistent! The waiters, you name them, don't even bother talking to them. It's a shame I can't give it zero stars.

04/03/2026: Good morning, From the moment we entered, the service was top-notch: very helpful, smiling, and friendly. Breakfasts were always beautifully prepared, with high-quality Italian products. The waiter always asked if she could prepare anything extra, such as scrambled eggs or an omelet. We also had dinner, which we still remember to this day was exceptional. The spa is fantastic, with a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious, carefully prepared, and after returning from skiing, everything was perfectly tidy. And we can't forget the gentleman who always dropped us off and picked us up on time, incredibly kind and smiling. When I asked to print a document, it was no problem at all. This is an ideal place for those traveling by electric car; the hotel has its own charging station. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

18/02/2026: This restaurant is way overpriced for what it offers. The octopus, served as a main course, was the size of an appetizer, which doesn't justify the price at all. As for the beef rib, the waiter didn't ask any questions and brought it without warning onto a hot griddle. The result was that the food splashed everywhere, ruining everyone's clothes. This service method isn't listed on the menu, and the staff doesn't warn you in advance: they simply set the plate down in front of you and leave. Furthermore, the waiter didn't bother to ask how done you wanted it. He brought the meat completely raw and then even seemed annoyed, claiming we should have told him. He clearly confused the roles, because it's the staff who should ask, not the customer who has to specify. The meat was not only raw, but also flavorless: a sprig of rosemary certainly wasn't enough to save it. Another problem is the organization of the service. Dishes are not served simultaneously, so it's normal for one person to have finished eating while another is still waiting for their dish. I've visited the restaurant several times, so this isn't an isolated incident, but a recurring problem. I don't recommend this place. The quality of the food is very poor, and for the same price, you can eat much better in the surrounding area.

15/03/2026: Welcoming restaurant with a veranda overlooking the lake Varied menu with Neapolitan influences Parking is a bit far, but it's a pleasant walk We went on a Sunday in March, one of the few open. Prices aren't cheap, but they're in line with the quality. Special mention for the waitress, friendly and professional; keep her close.

12/04/2026: We were Riva Del Garda for 4 days and we ate in this restaurant 2x. Antonio the waiter was so friendly and accomodating he even accomodated to alter our order from mixed fried seafood to a whole platter of calamari, my wife was so impressed and happy because it tasted so fresh and was a big portion so we decided to come back the following day. Complements to the chef and Antonio. The price was also reasonable and there were also plenty of choices of pasta and pizza for the children. Antonio also accomodated my son's egg allergy and made sure the pasta he ordered did not contain eggs.

08/04/2026: I was here for an aperitivo, but the place also offers restaurant and pizzeria service. A plus: pizza is always available on weekends, which isn't always a given. It's not Neapolitan-style, but thinner and crispier, but still pleasant and well-made. During aperitivo, they also offer small pizza slices, a welcome touch. Overall, a good option for both an aperitivo and a casual dinner.

21/07/2025: Appena entrati nella ristorante Sud di Riva del Garda, ci si sente subito avvolti dall'atmosfera calda e accogliente del sud Italia. I tavoli in legno, le decorazioni colorate e l'odore delizioso dei piatti tipici ci hanno trasportato in un viaggio sensoriale. Lo staff è stato davvero fantastico: carino e cordiale, con quel tocco tipico del sud che rende l'accoglienza ancora più speciale. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse specialità e ogni morso era un'esplosione di sapori autentici. La pizza era semplicemente deliziosa, con ingredienti freschi e una pasta perfetta, mentre gli antipasti ci hanno fatto sognare di essere in una trattoria sul lungomare. Inoltre, ho apprezzato molto la pulizia del locale, che lo rende perfetto anche per famiglie numerose. Se cercate un posto dove gustare piatti squisiti e sentirvi come a casa, ristorante Sud è assolutamente super consigliata! Assolutamente da tornare
