05/01/2026: A guarantee! It's now become a regular stop every time I come to Riva.
The place is very cute, located in a very quiet square in the historic center.
In the summer, people eat mostly in the outdoor square, and the atmosphere is very relaxing, especially in the evening; but the atmosphere inside is also very welcoming.
The dishes are excellent and the portions are generous.
The prices are very fair for the quantity and quality of the food.
Reservations are recommended.

17/01/2026: A pleasant discovery in the heart of Riva del Garda's historic center. The location is enviable, in a quaint little square just steps from the ferry dock. The seafood cuisine is truly top-notch: extremely fresh ingredients and meticulously presented dishes.
The only downside was the long wait for the dishes, but the quality of the food made up for it. At Polo Grandi Cucine, we know that managing time in an express seafood restaurant is no easy feat, but with the right organization and state-of-the-art equipment, you can achieve perfection. Overall, an excellent experience that I recommend to anyone seeking authentic seafood flavors in a splendid setting. I'll definitely be back to try the new dishes!

20/01/2026: We were there in January, and it was one of the few places open in the city. Even though it was after hours, we were still served. The food was very good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was excellent. I recommend it.

31/12/2025: We were here on New Year's Eve, just the two of us, and had the four-course menu. The food was truly outstanding, and every course was cooked to perfection.
We were particularly impressed by the staff: Even though the restaurant was fully booked and therefore very busy, all the employees remained incredibly friendly and attentive. We never felt rushed or like we were just being processed.
Thank you for a wonderful end to the year.

19/10/2025: A very nice little restaurant on the mountain not far from Torbole. The view of Lake Garda and Torbole from the terrace is magnificent! You can dine outside or inside. A rustic ambiance in vaulted rooms, friendly service, and delicious food. We loved it and would happily recommend this little restaurant!

04/01/2026: I was there with a friend and colleague of mine, and we'll be back to celebrate her birthday. It's a magnificent place.
08/10/2025: The food was nice, not great, the prices are a bit high, especially of the drinks and desserts, and the view is great, so all in all 4 stars. The location of this restaurant is great! It is inside a beautiful garden of a hotel, with a small lake nearby.
We had the lasagna which was great and the pasta with cherry tomatoes and burrata cheese which was good, but very simple.
Our child had the schnitzel with chips and the schnitzel was so thin there was barely any chicken in it, which made it hard to eat for a toddler.
The tiramisu was also good, a bit heavy.
The service was a bit slow, as the restaurant was full. It took us about 10 mins to get the check.

06/11/2025: We went there for pizza in the evening. The service was quick and friendly, and the pizzas were excellent. The dessert was equally delicious. All the drinks we had were good – what more could a vacationer ask for?!? Right by the small harbor, a wonderful location.
Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: I strongly advise against it unless you really have a lot of time to waste. It's a familiar pattern at this place. You call, make a reservation, wait 30 minutes, and then you don't get a seat, while the staff keeps telling you your table is becoming available! Then you give up and go eat somewhere else. I'd say tonight is the final act...we definitely won't be back!

22/01/2026: Great food. Delicious steak and baked potatoes – cut into strips, but not as burnt as French fries. Interesting pineapple in cherry liqueur. They also have very good wines. I recommend it for a break from crowded pubs full of Poles :)

10/11/2025: The food is very 'average' - we ate in different restaurants throughout our stay in Riva and the pizza at this restaurant was greasy and the pasta resembled a microwave meal. The food was not fresh. The bread for starters was stale and was served in a brown paper bag...It was more pricey than other restaurants for lower quality food. Very much begrudged paying for our dinner.
21/10/2025: Very friendly service, who also speaks several languages. The food was delicious, as you can see from the pictures. We had three pizzas (thin crust but filling), pasta (delicious carbonara, but a bit small), and schnitzel with fries (the schnitzel was crispy and delicious, and the fries weren't overseasoned, fluffy and crispy, with a good texture).
In summary, delicious food and good service.

06/01/2026: A word of advice... Change your cutlery when you change courses. Everything is excellent, but the cutlery needs to be changed. In a restaurant, it's really unpleasant to have your fork taken and put down on the side of your plate. Why waste it over such a small amount?!
24/12/2025: The portion was generous, the cutlet was delicious and tender, with vegetables and potatoes.
The desserts are also very good 👍🏻
The only thing I thought was that I'd spend less on lunch.
Otherwise, it's a lovely, rustic, and comfortable atmosphere.
Parking is in front of the restaurant, very convenient.
