30/03/2024: Beautiful hotel. Wonderful attentive staff. So nice to have dinner in the hotel every night after a long day of skiing. The menu changed everyday.

30/03/2024: Granbaita is always a certainty. Beautiful structure and well organised. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we will certainly return. We thank all the staff who contributed to making our stay exceptional, from the chefs to the girls at the reception. In particular, thanks to Alice who always served us with care and kindness and to the chef from Naples who delighted us with his friendliness and his dishes. Thanks also to the shuttle guys for their precious service. On the day of departure we had problems with the car and the girls at the reception immediately took steps to find a solution. 23/03/2024: We had dinner at Alfiero's, with decidedly high-level service; as a starter I recommend the really good venison carpaccio; as a first course fettuccine with wild chicory or risotto with radicchio; we ended with a delicious strudel. I don't give 5 stars because although there was an empty room, and some free tables, I was told that there was only room at 9.00 pm

12/03/2024: We had dinner here on our first night in Mdc and it was all fabulous. Super cuisine, attentive table service from all the staff, but the real gem is Savio, welcoming and thoughtful! We will definitely be back!

26/05/2024: All very good (and beautiful) shank absolutely worth trying (call to book!!) stratospheric risottos 👍🏻...ps I saw a review that described the shank as terrible, surely either an envious restaurateur or someone who couldn't find it and “start”😂

02/06/2024: Beautiful historic hotel. My only warning would be that it doesn't seem to have air conditioning, but the weather was cool when we stayed. Be sure to check out their lovely private garden across the street.

10/04/2024: Very kind owner, very romantic, well-kept hotel with many elephants as souvenirs for the famous legendary story of the stay of a real elephant who stayed in their stables for a period of six months where he left Genoa and went to Vienna!! ! breakfast of the highest level with real silverware, with all services and with a spa, romantic restaurant. Outdoor botanical garden Central area top co. A nice shopping street

11/05/2024: Modernes und sehr großes Restaurant. Exzellenter und rasanter Service, äußerst freundliche Mitarbeiter. Viele Touristen, aber auch viele Einheimische. Es gibt zwei Karten: eine für Pizza und eine für das Ristorante mit Fleisch- und Fischgerichten. Sehr schöne Auswahl, einfache Zubereitung der Gerichte, aber gut und schmackhaft. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt nichts zu Meckern. 5 von 5 Sternen.

05/05/2024: Das Restaurant hat zurecht den ersten Platz im Ort. Das Essen war angezeichnet und wurde von sehr motivierten und sehr freundlichen Personal serviert. Macht weiter so, wir kommen wieder.

12/06/2024: Very nice old villa that has been converted into a hotel. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. The room was very spacious and quiet. The restaurant had a large menu with plenty of choice. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and had everything. There was even plenty of choice for allergy sufferers. We would definitely come again. We used the hotel for 1 night to continue our journey to southern Italy. But we would also stay in the hotel longer and would definitely come back.

08/06/2024: Again for a business dinner, I had the opportunity to try this wonderful restaurant with an aerial view of Trento. Fabulous, they reserved an area of ​​the restaurant entirely for us, excellent service and stratospheric quality of products and raw materials used. Absolutely recommended 🔝

07/06/2024: One of the best experience ever in Italy and i travel in this country from to much time. The chef is amazing good, choose the salumi plate, pasta with beef (ravioli) and maybe one wine from the perfect list and you have a amazing dinner. Max Mariola and Gordon Ramsey, try to eat here to learn something.:))

06/06/2024: The waitress promised that it wouldn't rain, so we ate on the terrace (recommended for the view) and she was right. The food was interesting and local - my husband had deer ravioli and I had asparagus and salmon. We shared the beef filet and it was absolutely amazing - melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Our servers recommended some local wines (a glass of sparkling to start and red to match the beef) and both were excellent. For dessert, we indulged in a sweet wine to go with the strawberry and chocolate. A stand-out meal.

18/05/2024: Cannot recommend enough, absolutely top meal, far exceeds restaurants where I’ve paid significantly more. Service was professional. Dining space was interesting, and thoughtfully lit and decorated. Probably not a particularly valuable location unless you are outside (in warmer months) or upstairs in the private area. The following is an unnecessarily overboard recount of dinner… Dinner at Arome by Thaler was one of the best meals of my life. It started out with a 7.5 euro glass of probably the best wine of my life, at later 8 euro glass was maybe the second best glass of wine of my life. Both the kind where you sip and the flavour changes like 4 times and leaves you in awe. The starter special had my name written all over it, caponata with burrata, a scotch egg with spinach puree and a tartare. All three components the best I’ve ever had. Unbelievable tartare, and the flavour in the caponata was like the vegetables had been bred differently. The complimentary bread actually featured a sourdough of sorts (good, excellent by my experience of Italian standards), a proper rye bread which paired perfectly with a slightly blue cheese? infused butter, some grissini, and perhaps the best fennel salami I’ve ever had - melty - Sliced wafter thin but like almost everything at this restaurant had you pause at the flavour long after you swallowed it. Steak for main with a proper serving of broccolini and artichoke puree. Then a dessert that just had every balance or temperature, flavour and texture down pat. Lemon grass creme brûlée with mango gelato, fresh mango and some delicious caramelised crumble of sorts. One to make you appreciate the thought that had gone into constructing this dish.

04/06/2024: I went with my family to eat for my little sister's birthday and we were all very impressed, especially by the service of Luigi who assisted us throughout the dinner, making himself available for everything (even taking a souvenir photo), the restaurant at river is very lucky to have an employee who is so attentive to his customers, very professional, accurate and detailed even with regards to my gluten intolerance, polite and very PROFESSIONAL and also very nice!!! It made our evening even more beautiful and carefree!! Thanks Luigi! You were fantastic when you unexpectedly brought dessert to my little sister with a candle and good wishes. Thanks thanks thanks

03/06/2024: Good food, good prices, good service. Only a bit too big for my taste, too noisy. I like more smaller, cosier restaurants.

23/05/2024: Stopped here for very late lunch 1535 hrs returning to Corvara from Marmolada, but via off piste routes. Key was to be somewhere where no lifts were necessary for our return. Kitchen was closed but the owner most kindly offered us sandwiches, he’s mates with my awesome alpine guide Maria P. The bread looked huge but did it just melt in my mouth, so soft, so tasty, so fresh, and the prosciutto was to die for! How do they get everything to taste so good and fresh up on a mountain! The views outside were lovely! Must visit. Straight ski down to Corvara !

19/05/2024: A family-run hotel whose warmth is reflected in every corner and in all activities of the house. After the planned two nights, we were fortunately able to add four more (and reschedule the rest of our vacation) and enjoy all the amenities to the fullest. Delicious food, great wine advice and perfect service. Plus an upscale, yet relaxed atmosphere. The diverse wellness area is an oasis of relaxation. We would like to come again.
