09/01/2025: Todo sobre La Gruta en esta noche de invierno fue la perfección, desde la copa de Franciacorta con el bouche de diversión hasta la deliciosa tarta de manzana. La cocina es un paso adelante de la mayoría de la zona sin ser quisquilloso o exagerado. Disfrutamos de un hermoso e igual de sabroso paté de hígado de pollo en delicado brioche, una pasta compartida y dos excelentes platos principales: la pintada rellena y la bistecca alla Fiorentina, todo acompañado de un Talosa Vino Nobile. El servicio proporcionado por nuestros anfitriones era atento y amable, en absoluto congestionado. Si te gusta comer bien pero quieres que tu comida sepa tan bien como parece, La Grotta es para ti.

23/12/2024: Sunday lunch as a couple, express stop. With parking, cozy atmosphere, clean bathrooms and wonderful service from Max. The bruschete antipasto was very delicious to share and two pasta dishes: pici al ragù toscano and cappellacci with lemon (shared), both delicious! With rosso wine recommended by Max, very good too. We will surely return!

Prodotti di ottima qualità , accoglienza calorosa, ampia scelta di vini e birre della zona ma anche oltre.

04/01/2025: Handmade pici with wild boar ragù like grandma's! Excellent cuisine. Also well-garnished pizzas with thin dough. Quick and courteous service. Very small place so you need luck to find a seat, but the tables free up quickly. Advised!

02/01/2025: Rustic place with closed external veranda, friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant twice, for dinner the pizza was thin, crunchy and digestible. For lunch we had some first courses, ribollita and fusilli alla norcini, which were good. Average prices.
27/12/2024: Pizzeria restaurant right under the Tre Stelle hotel, we stayed in the hotel so it was very convenient to eat there. So chosen for convenience but we ate well, simple and traditional food cooked well. We had an appetizer with crostini and steak and rostinciana, naturally a noble wine from Montepulciano. Kind and friendly service.

31/12/2024: Arriving in the restaurant we were pampered, the central fireplace in the room reigns supreme, marvelous... the scent of each dish and the view make each dish an orgasm of delicious flavours... the wine recommended to us has an excellent high quality flavour. quality..The experience of both the chef and his wife make the restaurant their great story...Wonderful...Thank you for everything and from the bottom of our hearts we felt very at home...of those flavors lost for a long time....

Not happy return.
Total disappointment.
Meager portion of pici (nothing special)
Simple dish in these parts eaten many times.
This is the worst.
Then you look at the tables next to you and see that they have larger portions than yours.
Definitive cross.
I won't even walk past it to avoid remembering.
28/12/2024: Very bad experience. We went out at the Arezzo toll booth to have lunch and, given the positive reviews, we stopped with expectations which, however, were disappointed. We ordered a plate of pici and a plate of pasta with duck ragout. The pici all'aglione arrived, but we expected a much larger portion; as for the other dish, first they brought us rigatoni amatriciana (and we sent it back), then another plate of pici, which we resignedly accepted. Among other things, the waitresses continued to ask customers whose dishes they were, showing poor coordination between the dining room and kitchen and little organisation. The meat second courses were a further disappointment: porchetta reheated and super chewy and cut with poorly cooked porcini mushrooms. Among other things, the side dish that was served to us with the porchetta was salad even though the menu indicated "chips". Terrible welcome, rude and inattentive service, food of questionable quality. Furthermore, in our opinion the bill was inadequate compared to the general quality of food and services (water and cover charge had a significant impact on the total). I rarely give bad reviews, but eating so badly in Tuscany was completely new and unpleasant for me.

The dining room is quaint and charming, the service is friendly and really made us feel welcome. The food is really good. We love their pizza because it’s thin and crisp ans delicious!
We’ll be returning again many times
