24/08/2024: How many times have we found a common restaurant behind the name trattorias, taverns, bistros etc? I almost always do, it's just that each of these classifications should have completely different prices and characteristics from each other. This is to say that here we are probably close to the reality of the facts... And I would also add that here the rule "the customer is always right" falters. There are two owners, one in the kitchen and one in the dining room, they do what they can and as far as the food is concerned, very well. The service is unfortunately quite slow but if you can get over it you won't leave disappointed. Excellent flan, cured meats and pici, the cut is a little tough but in all cases you will notice the quality of the products. From us, however, thanks and we will certainly return, the "good cuisine" deserves patience!!!!!

23/08/2024: In the space of a week, despite having to travel several kilometres, we returned to enjoy the delicacies of this almost anonymous restaurant. The courtesy and quality of the food are truly priceless. If we add to all this a significantly lower cost than the average for the area, this is a restaurant worth recommending and trying. The pici alla gricia and the meat tartare are fantastic

23/07/2024: Very positive experience, across the board, obviously commensurate with the level of the facility. I hope to return as soon as possible!

10/07/2024: I stayed after a day of driving from Florence. Arriving in front of the hotel with a car can be difficult. There’s really only one way into that street. Don’t use any of the mapping systems available. They will send you down small streets that cannot be traveled in an automobile. Once arriving, the staff was fantastic. They wisked my car away to park. The rooms are quaint. My room had excellent upgrades. The views were spectacular from my room. I ended up having dinner in the restaurant downstairs excellent choice. The food was fantastic. Service was great with awesome wines and the next morning the breakfast was fantastic one of the better stays at a hotel while I was in Italy Would stay there again anytime I’m in that area.

22/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato di persona la sera stessa e ci hanno trovato un tavolo alle 20.00. Abbiamo preso i pici cacio e pepe: pasta fatta a mano buona e cremina fatta davvero bene. Soggettivamente c’era poco pepe (probabilmente per incontrare anche gusti stranieri) ma era stato messo a tavola ed io ne ho aggiunto un po’. La porzione non era abbondante, infatti dopo il primo avevamo ancora fame. Io ne ho approfittato per assaggiare l’olio di Montalcino che avevano messo a tavola ed era molto buono: saporito ma anche delicato. Abbiamo poi diviso un’insalatina con mela e formaggio: non mi aspettavo fosse già condita e secondo me dovrebbero dirlo ma ad ogni modo era buona anche se pochissima (capisco fosse un contorno ma per me le porzioni dovrebbero essere leggermente più abbondanti). Anche i dolci erano abbastanza buoni. Ho trovato il flan al cioccolato personalmente un po’ troppo liquido ma sembrava fatto abbastanza bene e crostata con crema di limone abbastanza buona: ottima crema con gusto deciso di limone non troppo dolce e nemmeno troppo aspro e frolla morbida anche se un po’ coperta dal gusto della crema. Prezzi giusti per la qualità. Due primi, un contorno, un calice di vino, caffè e due dolci 69€. Personale cordiale e simpatico.

17/08/2024: Location spettacolare, ma personale osceno, irriverente, altezzoso e borioso. Io e la mia fidanzata (reduci dalla sera prima in un ristorante 1 stella michelin) chiesto un tavolo siamo stati dapprima squadrati da testa a piedi con fare di superiorità e poi alla domanda se ci fossero piatti senz’aglio (la mia fidanzata è fortemente allergica) siamo stati quasi derisi. Esperienza troncata sul nascere. Il fatto di essere sulla guida michelin non è sinonimo di gentilezza e correttezza verso il cliente. Una stella solo perché non si può inserire l’opzione 0 stelle.
