29/09/2025: Both two years ago and this year, we were pleased with the service, delicious food, and large portions. The best pizza in the world! Your stomach will be happy! It's worth making a reservation on the weekend; we were turned away once, which doesn't surprise me anymore :)

24/09/2025: We went for dinner twice. First thing: large dishes, huge pizza (but thankfully thin-crust). Order antipasti, primi, and secondi – only for hungry eaters with huge stomachs 🤭). Hearty and delicious appetizers, but one antipasto is usually enough for two people. Delicious pizza. Fantastic trippa fiorentina. In September: delicious porcini mushrooms 🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫!!! Very good desserts. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Note: on weekends (and probably during the peak holiday season), reservations are recommended.

27/07/2025: A time-tested format, a fixed menu with Tuscan appetizers, Florentine steak, side dishes, and desserts for a total of €50 per person. The appetizers and side dishes were excellent and plentiful. The meat was good, but not as excellent as I remembered the last few times I came, which is why I didn't give it the highest rating. Obviously, this is just my personal preference, as I found it overcooked and therefore slightly tough on the outside. Excellent service.

27/07/2025: We came to this restaurant with friends, intrigued by the photos and reviews. A preface: It's suitable only for lovers of authentic Tuscan Florentine steak. In fact, it offers a fixed menu: a small entrée with a taste of excellent Panzanella, followed by Tuscan appetizers, some of which have been tastefully and refinedly reinterpreted, a grilled Florentine steak (calculated at 600g per person, so since there were four of us, the total weight was approximately 2.4 kg), side dishes of roast potatoes, cannellini beans, mixed salad, and, to finish, cantuccini biscuits and brigidini biscuits with Vin Santo. The wine list is extensive, ranging from a Chianti in a flask to the most sophisticated Italian reds (and beyond). The restaurant is stunning, elegant yet very welcoming. The owner and staff are highly knowledgeable and particularly friendly and welcoming. In short, we had an excellent Sunday lunch. One thing the owner is keen to point out during his quick introduction: the (exposed) fireplace uses only oak wood, no other wood, much less charcoal or similar. Furthermore, since the restaurant opened in 2009, the grill has only cooked Florentine steaks, no other meat! Finally, the price: all this quality (and abundance) at the fixed price of €50 per person, excluding wine. We spent €113.50 per couple. Price/quality/service ratio: excellent.

05/09/2025: Based on the reviews I'd read, I expected something better, but the food quality wasn't up to par. The meat was decent, but nothing special, while the baked potatoes tasted like they were frozen. The outdoor seating is on a hairpin bend in the road: in a small town, that's fine, but if a lot of cars pass by, it gets pretty chaotic. Prices, as always, are insane!

04/10/2025: What can I say...our friends made us spend a wonderful evening at this restaurant, which offers dishes cooked with great combinations and top-notch service. The owners pampered us and recommended a delicious and tasty fish menu, to finish with a dessert trolley with various tastings mmm. I recommend 🤲👌🥂

03/10/2025: Every time I visit Montecatini, I try to have lunch and dinner there. There's always fresh fish, a huge selection of wines, a variety of desserts, and always a delicious treat after each meal, a complimentary gift from the establishment. The service, with Edison and Luigi, is always unobtrusive and pleasant.

Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles, kindness, and infinite sweetness of the wonderful Francesca, a wonderful woman who, punctually, along with the phenomenal Chef, an expert mushroom hunter and phenomenal cook, approached the table to interact with my wife and me. Wonderful smiles and an immense heart. Their service is characterized by an above-average level of preparation, professionalism, kindness, courtesy, friendliness, and absolute precision. Together, they bring infinite joy to those who know how to appreciate the sweetness and refinement of the soul. A continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begins with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminates in the perfection of the evolution at the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the raw materials of excellent quality. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. Cucine e Pensieri is a place where time stands still and everything becomes a dream come true. The quality of the products is among the best you'll find in the area. But... there's one thing that stands out above all else: the meat with mushrooms and truffles. Someone said it was scrumptious... I completely agree! As a chef with 30 years of experience... one of the best I've ever tasted. At Cucine e Pensieri, everything is IMPECCABLE, and you'll discover unique details you won't find anywhere else. I wish I could transport this place anywhere, along with those who are part of it, to make every moment unique and wonderful. 05/09/2025: Despite presenting itself as a trattoria, the prices are those of a restaurant. As is often the case in Italy, everything seems excessively expensive, despite the homemade cuisine served here. The staff wasn't particularly friendly; in fact, they were rude at times.

02/09/2025: I was in Montecatini Terme for a weekend, and I booked "Da Gina" based on other users' positive reviews. I hope this, in turn, can be helpful to anyone looking for excellent food! A typical Tuscan trattoria, with a family atmosphere (I love the red-checkered tablecloths, which evoke the feeling of good old-fashioned goodness), kind and friendly staff, and fair prices. Excellent food, from appetizers to dessert! Highly recommended! Here are a few photos, which need no comment...

09/09/2025: We happened upon it by chance, returning from a long day, and found a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, and what can we say about the pizza: WONDERFUL 😍!!!! 09/09/2025: The dough is rubbery, the crust is soft, and lacks crispiness and lightness. The prices are decidedly exorbitant for the quality of the dough; the only positive aspect is the high-quality ingredients used on the pizza.

07/09/2025: We had dinner at La Mandragola and it was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, matched only by the exceptional service. The setting in the courtyard is warm and comfortable, making the whole experience feel special. A memorable spot in San Gimignano that I’d happily return to.

26/08/2025: Very friendly welcome and helpful waiters. Fantastic menu, with a few starters on the menu so you can also enjoy the mussels! Various types, all delicious! We'll definitely be back.

24/08/2025: We had two mussel pans. Half of the mussels were broken in each pan, so we didn't eat them. We informed the staff, but nothing was done about it. The tables are arranged outside, one behind the other, which doesn't create a pleasant atmosphere.

We didn't order the pizza, but judging by the tables nearby, it's a delight to visit again! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take a picture because we ate it right away. 27/09/2025: The quality of the ingredients was very good and well-cooked. We had a sliced ​​steak for four, a fillet steak, and fried mushrooms as appetizers, and were satisfied with the food. However, the staff wasn't very attentive and unresponsive. I had to get up every time I needed something because the waiters were walking by without looking, as we were waving our arms to get noticed. - The appetizer was brought without plates being brought. - We waited too long for the condiments. - While waiting for the bread, we finished the main course.

05/07/2025: If you’re in town, you must come here! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tuscan Steak and it was tasty and melted in your mouth. Make sure you get dessert too, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!!
