18/06/2025: A well-kept environment with a warm atmosphere. The food is excellent! The appetizer with seasonal ingredients was excellent and the meat was exquisite!! The owner is a very courteous person and the waitresses are kind and attentive to every request. I recommend you book a dinner at this restaurant, you will not regret it!

14/06/2025: Unforgettable experience and great food! We were welcomed with great cordiality by Gerardo, the owner: an exquisite person, friendly and at the same time very attentive and professional. He explained the menu to us with passion and showed us the grill, filmed live by a camera, so that we could follow the cooking phases of the meat comfortably from the table. A truly original touch that adds even more value to the experience. After a welcome panzanella, we moved on to a delicious plate of mixed appetizers - including Tuscan crostini, truffle frittatas and local cured meats - and then arrived at the real star: the 1,200-gram steak, divided in two as per the menu, cooked to perfection and served at the table in a spectacular way. We accompanied everything with a trio of side dishes (baked potatoes, spiced chickpeas, carrots and peppers), and then finished on a sweet note with cantucci and vin santo. The wine list is extensive and well-studied, with options to suit all budgets. At the end of the evening we also had the pleasure of chatting with Gerardo on the photo board of some famous and regular guests of the restaurant: a sign that shows how much he really cares about his customers. At the end, when we went out and found ourselves in the rain, Gerardo kindly lent us an umbrella so we could reach the hotel dry. A simple gesture but of rare kindness, which encapsulates the spirit of this place. Perfect experience from every point of view. Highly recommended if you pass by Pistoia, it really deserves it. We had the opportunity to taste numerous dishes, including the mussels, which turned out to be particularly excellent. In addition to the specialty of mussels prepared in multiple ways, the menu offers a wide selection of high quality fish-based dishes and some options dedicated to meat lovers. The quality of the food is excellent and the wine list offers a vast choice from renowned wineries. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion, whether lunch or dinner. We will be happy to return again.

Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di assaporare numerose pietanze, tra cui le cozze, che si sono rivelate particolarmente eccellenti. Oltre alla specialità delle cozze preparate in molteplici modi, il menù offre un’ampia selezione di piatti a base di pesce sempre di alta qualità e alcune opzioni dedicate agli amanti della carne. La qualità del cibo è ottima e la carta dei vini propone una vasta scelta proveniente da cantine rinomate. Raccomando vivamente questo ristorante per qualsiasi occasione, sia pranzo che cena. 17/05/2025: Heel leuk knus restaurantje aan de rand van het centrum. Werden erop gewezen door de b&b waar we verbleven. Hebben er heerlijk gegeten, hadden hele goede bediening en dus een hele fijne avond. Aanrader dus!

09/05/2025: We ate here every chance we got during a tour of Tuscany in September of 2024. This restaurant was a highlight of our trip. Service was perfect. Food was exquisite. Wine was delightful. Atmosphere was hoity-toity. We were rubbing elbows with the wealthiest locals. Oksana and Lido took very good care of us. Per Oscar Wilde, "I have the simplest taste. I am always satisfied with the best."

01/06/2025: Very characteristic little restaurant in the historic center of Pistoia. Small and cute, staff unique in their kindness and friendliness. Thanks to the chef for the dishes cooked with passion. We had pici cacio e pepe and tagliata rare with crispy but soft potatoes (absurdly good). Coffee in moka to taste in quantity. Honest prices. I definitely recommend 100%.

17/05/2025: We gingen eigenlijk voor een ander restaurant op basis van Tripadvisor reviews, maar daarnaar Tripadvisor zei “ nu geopend “ bleek dat restaurant permanent gesloten. Lo Storno zit er vlakbij. Compacte kaart dus weinig keuzestress. Heerlijke pasta gegeten en een lekker toetje na. Zeer vriendelijke bediening.

05/07/2025: If you’re in town, you must come here! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tuscan Steak and it was tasty and melted in your mouth. Make sure you get dessert too, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!!

30/05/2025: Fantastic view and delicious meat at Manero! I always come here when I want to treat myself to a typical dinner, enjoying the breathtaking view of the valley that characterizes the place. Recommended for a special lunch or dinner! I obviously recommend booking and asking for a seat near the window!
