17/08/2026: We dined at this gem, discovered almost by chance. The hotelier highly recommended it, and thank goodness we listened! It's a unique place; every day they grill the catch of the day. Reservations are highly recommended in the morning to see if they have fish and perhaps what they have. No pasta, no side dishes, or special appetizers; you eat whatever the seafood offers, all grilled. A simple restaurant, but with restaurant-quality tablecloths and dishes. For €30 per person, we ate (the portions I'm giving are for two people): - Grilled red mullet (4 whole) - Fried cod (2 whole) - Grilled mackerel (3 fillets) - Grilled swordfish (2 steaks) - Grilled calamari (4 pieces) - Grilled sardines on a spit (10 whole) - Large cannoli filled with fresh sheep's milk ricotta, made the traditional way (2 cannoli) All accompanied by excellent local bread, salad, and Belice olive oil (I recommend trying it on its own with some bread, it's delicious). A bottle of local white wine (Grillo) served ice-cold and a bottle of water. Coffee and amaro included. The food was truly delicious, well-cooked and well-seasoned. The quantities were impressive, and the satisfaction was unmatched. The cannoli alone were worth the whole dinner. One final note of praise goes to the service: the girls were friendly, approachable, and truly welcoming. Their work certainly improved the already excellent dinner. Congratulations to everyone! EDIT AFTER THREE YEARS: The price has increased to €35, which would have been fine if they hadn't drastically reduced the fish dishes. The service also seemed a bit confused. The food is still good, but I was a little disappointed.

19/07/2026: We were drawn by the excellent reviews on Google Maps and decided to try 'Good Pizza' in Valderice. Even though we arrived on a Friday evening around 8:30 PM without a reservation, we only waited a few minutes before being seated outside. The service was excellent: the staff were really talented, friendly, and attentive. The pizza was a wonderful discovery, both in terms of the dough and the quality of the toppings. The quality/price ratio was truly excellent. Highly recommended; give it a try, it's worth it!

18/07/2026: I've been to this pleasant restaurant/pizzeria and was thrilled with everything. The staff is very professional, polite, and willing to meet all of their guests' needs. Now let's move on to the culinary delights, which are not secondary; in short, everything is fantastic and succulent. Finally, the restaurant also offers a stunning panoramic view. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular customer. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

08/08/2026: The pizza was excellent, with a unique crust that was both crispy and soft, and despite the chaos that evening, we didn't even have to wait long. They also offered us some potatoes with cheese and tomato sauce—I don't remember the name—and they were delicious.

25/05/2026: Choosing Baglio Oneto for our wedding (May 23, 2026) was one of the best decisions we could have made. Wonderful views, impeccable organization, and kind and super helpful staff. We especially thank Vincenzo, Massimo, and the maître d'—truly wonderful and highly competent people! The food was excellent, and all our guests complimented us on the organization and quality of the reception. We also spent the night at the hotel. 22/04/2026: This is a very nice hotel to stay at. It is quite large (conferences are also held there). But you don't really notice that very much. At the (amazing!!) breakfast and by the (beautiful) infinity pool, you are only with a small group of people. Otherwise, it is a traditional hotel. You notice this in the rooms (good but not very special), and the dinner is also good but not very exceptional. The people who work there are extraordinarily friendly, very helpful, and really want to make you feel comfortable. The price is quite steep. Before this, we stayed at two small-scale, top-notch places on the east of the island, but they were less pricey than Baglio Oneto. That is a bit out of proportion. That is why, all in all, it just misses 5 stars. I would come back in a heartbeat for the people who work here; the place itself needs something extra.

10/08/2026: I'm writing this review sitting at the table... I just finished eating the brusiata with tuna ragù and I thoroughly enjoyed it. All the dishes we chose were excellent, five-star. As were the staff...what can I say? Before we return home from vacation, we'll definitely be back on more than one occasion.
