22/10/2025: We were disappointed. The portions were small. One of the pasta dishes was not really cooked. We had to pay 3 Euro coperto per person, also for the children. The fish and seafood were very fresh. The service were friendly but could not guide us to a good wine in english. The location of this restaurant is of course very good, right in the city centre.

04/10/2025: Let's be honest, the staff was friendly but we got to have our worst dinner in Sicily there. There was, amongst others, this weird octopus marinated in half butter half soja sauce (I guess a lost attempt at making it "umami") served with super cold side and a traditional couscous which was rougly about pourring the whole package of couscous in the plate and not much more else (other than a pour-it-yourself fish soup, I'm sure my teen would do this meal when they're alone at home). Usually there's some music, maybe it's best to drink and avoid food?

At the door, a kind gentleman provides information on the complicated parking procedures (only one parking spot works with cards and debit cards). Gratefully, we decide to go in. Friendly staff, delicious arancini al burro, and a delicious Genovese for dessert. Fair prices.

It lacks politeness and discretion, the waiters are kind, and unfortunately, at the cash register, I don't know why, but the price is never the same, it changes every time you order the same things. It's a mystery, one because he doesn't want to argue, but it's really weird. More attention.

12/01/2026: One of the best pizzas in the area. Delicious ingredients and a soft dough. They always have a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The first and second courses are also excellent. You'll find the authentic Sicilian flavors that are increasingly hard to find in the area. Don't miss out!

11/01/2026: I've been a customer of Peppe and Nino for years now, and besides me, any family members or friends I've brought over have also become regulars because it's a truly exceptional restaurant. Excellent cuisine, and describing each dish in detail is difficult because I wouldn't know which to choose—there are so many, so varied, and all delicious. Not to mention the pizzas; every Sunday evening we drive a little further to get them (we live in another town) because no one in the family wants to miss out on their unique flavor. Attentive and helpful service, the owner is welcoming and always available. In short...try it and believe it!

02/01/2026: Terrible experience for Christmas lunch. Rude welcome with inappropriate comments about diet—if we were on a diet, we certainly wouldn't have eaten at a restaurant. At this point, I think even he knew the portions were ridiculous, even for a diet. They served us a medium-sized risotto dish and another with 16 paccheri for five people (only three raw paccheri per person, and not enough risotto for five). Breaded swordfish was the main course, but the breading wasn't the best, and that's the excuse for the broken cash machine. Highly not recommended.

14/01/2026: If you’re in Trapani, you absolutely have to try the couscous alla trapanese, the region’s specialty! It’s delicious, and this place makes it really well (I recommend having it with zuppa). They also offer a large variety of other dishes. Highly recommend!

29/01/2026: What a wonderful discovery. A lovely restaurant run by genuinely warm, welcoming owners. It’s a family business, and you really feel it from the moment you arrive. Great atmosphere, great energy, and most importantly, excellent food. Everything we had was fresh and perfectly prepared. We spent a week in the area, and this was easily our best dining experience. No hype, no unnecessary talk, just very good, fresh fish and food done right. We wish them all the best and hope many others discover this place too.

02/11/2025: Service! Service was invented here! The room perfectly matches the location—not overly luxurious, but everything is there and impeccably maintained. The location? The location is truly breathtaking. For lovers of fine wines, refined breakfasts, culinary dinners, and a pool with a view: this is a place to return to. I can't wait to go back. 30/10/2025: Staff: Staff were lovely and very attentive. Room: Spacious, comfortable, nice amenities. There was a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch. Restaurant: Breakfast was great, lots of choice and it's all high quality. The wasps swarming the breakfast area was the only negative but that can't really be helped. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, just to try it out. I had the worst steak I've ever had here, truly terrible. Prices are insanely high too Bar: We avoided the bar entirely due to the ridiculous prices. We went to the wine tasting one evening because we thought it would be something special to do in the hotel, it cost €50 per person which is crazy given the cost in other local wineries. Location: you will need a car to get everywhere, it's very remote. All in all, I was happy enough with the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. I wouldn't return because it's very limiting being so remote, especially when the hotel is charging 3-4x the prices of anywhere else for food/drinks.

18/02/2026: This was my first time at this restaurant. Beautiful view of the harbor. Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly and incredibly attentive waiter. I arrived a bit early, and the kitchen wasn't open yet, so they offered to let me wait and order an aperitif in the meantime. After that, they took care of my other orders and requests very quickly. The food was good. The bruschetta was excellent – ​​crispy yet juicy, with a good amount of garlic. I also had spaghetti Bolognese. It lacked a bit of a wow factor for me. Next time, I'd probably try the highly praised pasta with Sicilian pesto, but tonight I was in the mood for meat. However, the quality of the Parmesan cheese really elevated this dish; it was an incredible treat. The chocolate soufflé was good, although the center wasn't completely melted. Since it's listed on the menu as a ready-made item, I assume they simply adhere very strictly to the prescribed cooking times. It still tasted very chocolatey and rounded off the evening nicely. The food was more than good value for money. The drinks, however, were a different story: I personally found €10 for a Spritz Siciliano to be very expensive. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and would gladly return.
