11/11/2024: Sunday family lunch Upon our arrival they made us sit at a table in front of the entrance where the door was continuously open and the cold draft came, we have a 2 year old girl and I had communicated this. A limited menu for the price we paid and in addition I paid 10 euros for a plate of COLORED SAUCE pasta for the little girl. I think they need to think about prices a bit, we are all workers who make sacrifices. You cannot pay a plate of pasta, I repeat, COLORED WITH SAUCE 10 EUROS. In other places, where I will obviously continue to go, I pay 22 euros for an entire menu for adults.

29/12/2024: Yesterday my wife and I were looking for where to eat in Ragusa and, trusting the advice of a local, we went to this grocery store. The expectations relating to the advice received were greatly exceeded. The quality of the food is excellent and the food is well prepared; the exquisitely friendly and professional staff; the well-kept room with comfortable spaces. In one word: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

19/10/2024: Normalmente faccio recensioni positive ma stavolta mi vedo costretta a non essere d'accordo con le recensioni positive. Ambiente freddo e troppo illuminato con lampade e led non adatto ad un ristorante. Qualità del cibo non sufficiente, fritto misto decongelato con prodotti scarsi, pasta fresca di scarsa qualità con gambero rossi che galleggiavano in un sugo al pomodoro e aglio che copriva completamente il pesce, grigliata mista insipida e scarsa per 25 euro. Cameriera gentile e professionale.

26/12/2024: Located in the center of lower Modica, but in an alley that guarantees tranquility, it is a place furnished with simple elegance. Cozy, even romantic. The menu is constantly evolving, as is Francesca Barone's traditional and, at the same time, sparkling with imagination cuisine. Very young, without taboos but respectful of the seasonality and territoriality of tradition. In the dining room are sister Carla and her husband, who best manage the attentive service and a cellar full of surprises and distant harvests. Excellent success of the dishes and a quality/price ratio that is difficult to find elsewhere. The tasting menus leave ample freedom of choice and are extremely convenient. Very recommended!

28/09/2024: Absolutely stunning dinner last night with my wife. We had a shorter version of a tasting menu and really should have gone with the longer one, since every dish was so beautiful, creative, thoughtful and delicious. Service was just as fantastic as well, our server recommended a phenomenal wine that we absolutely fall in loved with and would never discover otherwise. You should definitely go and eat here. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was absolutely one of our favorite meals we had in Sicily.

05/01/2025: Everything like 30 years ago, poor starter, disappointing ravioli, decent risotto, the only thing I had never tasted was the stuffed rib... I could have avoided it at all; in my humble opinion we need to give ourselves a 360° makeover - no pig has been magnified except in jelly.

The dishes were bland and uncreative, and did not justify the high prices at all. Furthermore, the restaurant seems more oriented towards tourists, which is reflected in the costs. There are many other restaurants in the area that offer better dishes at more reasonable prices. If you are looking for a good meal, I recommend you look elsewhere.

13/10/2024: Hello, we waited for so long for the food, and the portions are not worth the money, it is expensive and food portion is small and it is nothing extraordinary And with the reply you can see the quality of people, we didnt ask for any discount, you asked for our opinion and we gave it, we saw the prices and have no problem to pay when quality reach expectations, which in this case was not like that, you are rude saying that I have tapeworm, instead of accepting your kitchen didnt meet the standards to be satisfactory for us, and yes we ate all as after waiting for almost.1 hour we were starving, it wasnt because it was so tasty. So, I wouldnt recommend thar place, just if you want to be disappointed give it a try.
