30/10/2024: You sit a little apart in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is run with passion and the food is worth the price! We have rarely eaten so well. Don't be afraid to come here with children, the chef is also ready to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for the little ones 😊 Absolutely recommended in all respects!

11/11/2024: My husband and I spent two nights in Taoromina and both nights we ate at Al Giardino! Everything we ate was incredible! The Marsala chicken with a side of vegetables - outstanding! Impossibly moist chicken. Tagliatelle with red prawn and pistachio - unlike anything we’ve eaten in Italy and so delicious! Spaghetti with anchovies and fried bread - oh my god I will be dreaming of this dish! So comforting and very umami! And of course the eggplant parmigiana! Unbelievably flavourful and so meaty. Definitely try it! The minestrone and meatballs were also fantastic! Great service! Everyone was super attentive and kind. A true gem of a spot and I hope to return one day! Grazie!

25/09/2024: Wife and I have visited La Caravella many times over the years, Dominic and his team have always taken great care of us and treated us like family. During this visit we spent four days enjoying the scenery and leisurely lunches. The beach lounge chairs are nicely spaced and has an umbrella well-anchored to provide shade if desired. His team would pick us up at our Taormina hotel and transport us to the beach where we would be welcomed and shown to our spots for the day. Walk a few steps back to the covered restaurant where the menu is quite large and varied, reasonably priced and food always delicious. The service is always friendly, efficient and attentive. At the end of the day Dominic's transportation delivers us right back to our hotel. Thanks to Dominic and the entire team for another wonderful multi-day visit!

13/09/2024: Great Beach experience. La Caracalla picked us up with their shuttle and brought us to the beach club. Included in our price was the shuttle, 2 chairs and an umbrella. The beach was clean and the sea clear. We had a fabulous lunch at the restaurant and the owner arranged us a boat trip around the area. Highly recommended.

24/11/2024: The food was amazing. We went in October and the owner Al is just the friendliest person along with his wife and chef. We ate there for 50% of our evening.

16/11/2024: Cibo ottimo, fresco ed abbondante. Location stupenda, praticamente sei a Isolabella. Santino e moglie semplicemente stupendi, affabili, gentilissimi e disponibili. Alla fine del pranzo, ci hanno anche aiutato a trovare alloggio.

25/12/2024: We visited on Christmas 25/12 during lunch time. Salvatore made an evening very special with his attention, top tier service. The grilled fish fillet was superb, recommend visiting, there were options for vegetarians ( desert as well) On the top of the bill you can see the price for bread included

04/11/2024: Locale con vista suggestiva, piatti ben presentati, ottimo ill polpo come antipasto ed il risotto! La carta dei vini è ampia con prevalenza giustamente regionale! Da provare! Parcheggio a pagamento vicino, circa 100 metri!

01/11/2024: Attirati dalla location con splendida vista sull’Isola Bella, prenoto e chiedo vista mare che mi viene gentilmente concessa. Servizio professionale e piatti gustosi, consiglio le trofiette al pistacchio e guanciale. Torneremo.

05/01/2025: Wonderful restaurant, and in the summer, as I did, I booked on the beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf.. I took a long time to write this review, but it deserves so much that I didn't write it.. Anyway, in addition to the beautiful location, what can I say about the exquisite and attentive staff .. For example, being celiac, I need extra attention and without a doubt there was... Very attentive to Gluten free, they have pasta and bread and even desserts.. All really excellent

02/11/2024: Como era de esperar, este restaurante es de primera categoría. El servicio es muy amable y acogedor. La habitación es preciosa. La "comida" es exquisita. Nos alojamos en el hotel, que estábamos muy contentos con. Siempre disfrutamos de esa comodidad. Echa un vistazo a mis fotos para hacerte una idea de la fantástica fiesta que tenemos ante nosotros. Pedimos 3 platos del menú A La Carta. La textura y los sabores de cada plato estuvieron a la altura de su presentación visual.

Toda la noche podría haber sido fácil pretencioso, ya que las opciones de agua y sal eran extensas antes incluso de llegar a la comida, pero el personal era amable y los sabores increíbles de los platos estuvieron a la altura de las altas expectativas. Tuvimos una noche maravillosa.

02/11/2024: Mi familia y yo cenamos en el restaurante de Villa Ducale después de un día de cata de vinos en la bodega Gambino cerca del Monte Etna. Tuvimos la suerte de compartir el restaurante con un par de otras partes. Los platos eran de lujo y tenían perfiles de sabor bien equilibrados. Todo lo que pedimos era delicioso. ¡Nada quedó en nuestros platos! Las bebidas especiales también eran fantásticas. También teníamos una botella de vino tinto que era sorprendentemente bien precio por lo bueno que era. Prueba un vino nero d'avola si te gustan los vinos tintos de sabor profundo. La vista aquí también es de primera categoría. Tiene vistas al monte Etna con una vista impresionante del Mediterráneo. ¡Si eliges comer aquí, no te arrepentirás!

17/10/2024: Las vistas más sensacionales! Imagínate viendo la puesta de sol sobre el Etna con una bebida en la mano mientras te elevas sobre Taormina. Tuvimos un tiempo hermoso en Villa Ducale, la comida era increíble - tuvimos pasta sensacional, el equipo te hizo sentir completamente a gusto y el viaje fue inolvidable. ¡No veo la hora de volver!

07/12/2024: Vor 14 Jahren zum ersten Mal hier und jetzt wieder - im extrem touristischen und überteuerten Taormina eigentlich ein Geheimtipp: Vorzüglich zubereitetes Essen zu reellen Preisen (2 Personen mit Vorspeise, Wein und Dessert ca. 100 Euro), viele lokale Spezialitäten, sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer und notfalls auch englischsprachiger Service, wenn das Touristenitalienisch nicht ausreicht... Viele, wenn nicht überwiegend einheimische Stammgäste - hoffentlich bleibt das so!

24/12/2024: Very kind staff. Food was pretty good. Antipasto siciliano with dry tomatoes, some cheese, salami, and olives really good. Cannelloni, I was hoping for handmade pasta, but that was not the case, but result was good. And pasta with pistachio cream and shrimps, superb.

03/11/2024: What can I say? Definitely one of the best restaurants in Taormina. The fish is fine and very fresh and the dishes are presented and prepared perfectly. Furthermore, the wine list is excellent. A place to go again and again.

21/11/2024: On the main street of Taormina. It has one row of small tables at the intersection and the inside sitting with 12 tables for 2 (all open to the street) Americano coffee @ €3. And 20 cl Beck's beer on tap €3.50. Very friendly and accommodating service Clean and well stocked washroom.
