27/06/2025: The two of us ate at this restaurant. It was the best meal I've had in Sardinia! Very friendly and competent staff and incredibly good food. Everything was perfect! Worth at least a visit, if not a must.

17/06/2025: To begin with, the location is wonderful. It's at a height that allows you to see Castelsardo and the illuminated port while you dine. The waiters are very friendly, and the menu is extensive. There are three options for starters, main course, and dessert, or you can choose from a very extensive menu. A wide variety of fish dishes is available. For two people, a starter, main course, and dessert, with wine, costs approximately 150 euros. But it's worth it. Excellent value for money.

20/06/2025: Ciao a tutti, a Stintino abbiamo cenato presso la Trattoria OPERA VIVA, sita vicino alla Piazza del Municipio. Locale ampio, con deor esterno coperto e arieggiato, tavoli ben disposti, personale cortese e preparato, pronto a soddisfare le tue richieste. Ottimo il menu offerto. Noi abbiamo scelto un formaggio alla brace come antipasto, che era o caprino o di latte vaccino cotto alla brace in due strati di pane carasao, veramente eccellente, poi un piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio con il pescato del giorno e un fantastico fritto misto. Il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima Icnusa non filtrata e acqua. Alla fine un dolce tipico sardo. Se vi trovate a Stintino, telefonate e prenotate un tavolo, ne rimarrete decisamente soddisfatti. 06/07/2025: My partner and I (big foodies) had an amazing experience at Ristorante Il Cormorano. We came here for lunch and not only was the food so unique, fresh and special but the service was incredible. Ambrogio was helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond in making our experience unforgettable. Best restaurant experience we’ve had in our two weeks travelling across Sardinia and we cannot wait to come back!!

22/06/2025: I'll start by saying that this will be a long review because it's really worth it (writing and reading it). I advise the laziest to skip it. Couple's dinner: a unique and rare experience from every point of view. As soon as we arrived at the place, they made us sit down, only to then, after a few minutes, inform us that the reservation was for two days later than today's date. Having admitted the mistake, a waiter (probably the head waiter, whose name I unfortunately didn't ask) immediately tried every type of solution to fix the inconvenience, as due to excessive reservations our main course was missing: the porceddu. In the end, despite our multiple refusals to the very generous offer, the aforementioned boy took the responsibility of offering us the entire dinner (specifically: two appetizers, two first courses, seadas, watermelon, a bottle of their own wine and bitter). What can I say, in more than 10 years of experience in Italian restaurants, I have never received such generous, human and above all professional treatment as this. The guy in question should have a statue for his kindness, courage and problem solving skills. Side note (even if incredibly important): stunning location, genuine and home-made food of the highest quality. We will return without a shadow of a doubt at the very first opportunity, in the meantime, thanks for the experience!

24/06/2025: Dinner for two in this typical Sardinian seafood restaurant. We took the tasting menu for €50 per person which included a mix of appetizers, paella, sweet and bitter, as well as a bottle of water and a bottle of wine (both 75 cl). Delicious dishes and excellent service. We recommend! Ps: better to book in advance on the website.

26/06/2025: Very delicious food as tapas from a small family restaurant which has a different menu every day. We ordered 4 large meals and it was enough for us 4. The stew was definitely the best!

04/07/2025: I ordered a mixed salad and it was quite good, but the entrecote was bland and difficult to cut. The knife didn't cut anything. It was quite expensive, but it was good and they served us quickly. The fried calamari was delicious.

14/07/2025: The chef is very pleasant and chats with you despite the 30-minute wait for a delicious pizza. The waitress is just as pleasant. Bravo for the management, even though you have a lot of orders, you always remain polite and smiling. It's been a pleasure to eat at your place every summer for the past 10 years. See you soon!

14/07/2025: We came on a Monday evening at 8:00 PM. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the service was excellent. I recommend booking as soon as possible. The Google page might suggest it's closed on Mondays, but it's actually open.

20/07/2025: Great restaurant! Very warm welcome and the meal was excellent (pizzas and seafood spaghetti were excellent). We tried the traditional dessert and the tiramisu was also very good. I recommend it, very good value for money.

20/07/2025: Very good, authentic food, unpretentious, and the best part is the service. Maxi is a great guy who makes you feel right at home. The upstairs terrace is cool and offers views of the Castle.
