Runcina, a little outside the center of San Teodoro and I can say that it is truly an extraordinary culinary experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the staff and the elegant atmosphere of the place put me in a good mood.
The starters were the real surprise with the fresh, quality ingredients standing out in an exemplary manner.
Moving on to the first courses, I opted for a delicious seafood fregola. The consistency was perfect, and the flavor combinations truly memorable. Excellent fried calamari
To finish, a dessert made with ricotta, pistachios and delicious strawberry sauce
In conclusion, the La Runcina Restaurant is undoubtedly an address worth marking on the diary for lovers of good food. With a truly enviable quality-price ratio, it is the ideal place for a special dinner or lunch. Congratulations to the chef and all the staff for their excellent work!

We dined there 3 times during our 1 week visit to Sardinia, every single visit made our mind blown with their fantastic food and service.
The stunning view adds to our experience, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area.

17/02/2025: I've been to Il Giardino in San Teodoro the last two summers and have always had a good time. Fine dishes, fresh ingredients and excellent meat. I recommend trying the tasting menu! The service is good and the location convenient, close to everything. Fair prices for the quality offered. Must try.

I piatti sono ben presentati e il servizio è buono, peccato per i piatti troppo salati, che ci hanno fatto passare la notte a bere tanta acqua.
La realtà non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative....

01/02/2025: In posizione non proprio centrale di S.Teodoro (ma comunque a due passi dal centro), merita sia per le pizze (buonissime e ben farcite) che per le altre proposte: davvero ottime le cozze, con un'ampia varieta' di preparazioni (alcune davvero originali). Prezzi nella media. Personale disponibile, gentile e simpatico. Ottimo il rapporto qualita'-prezzo. Ambiente tranquillo e rilassato. Consigliato!

14/04/2025: If you happen to be in the area you absolutely must try this restaurant. Typical Sardinian cuisine and very fresh products. The lady who served us (I think also the owner) was kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back 😍
09/04/2025: Kind staff. We ate spaghetti allo scoglio which was recommended because it was made with fresh fish but unfortunately the pasta seemed pre-cooked and the fish had just come out of the freezer so much so that the mussels on the plate were cold. Given the season in which there is not a huge influx of customers, we would have expected a more attentive cuisine.

08/10/2024: I love this restaurant. Very good staff. The cuisine is top-notch. Excellent prices. Roberto (Robert as I call him) is a show of courtesy and friendliness. In San Teodoro it is the best place to stop and eat. The rest is nothing in comparison.
03/10/2024: Nice atmosphere on the terrace under a large tree, even if the seating is quite tight due to the large crowd. The quick and friendly staff tries to find a place for everyone (even if you haven't made a reservation).
The ravioli were very tasty with a particularly fresh-tasting tomato sauce. Crunchy fresh mixed salad and good pizza. Plus delicious desserts and delicious drinks at reasonable prices.

E alla fine portano uno pseudo scontrino con scritto in fondo "ritirare lo scontrino alla cassa". Ma perché? Portatelo subito lo scontrino.
...o lo scontrino va emesso in modo differente se si paga in contanti o con carta??? Oppure si confida nella pigrizia del cliente che non passa alla cassa? Chiedo per un amico

04/10/2024: Das Restaurant ist überbewertet, es lebt von der Aussicht und reichen Klientel, welches in dieser Gegend gerne urlaubt. Ich fand es maximal mittelmäßig, sowohl vom Essen als auch vom Service. Beim Essen ist mir schlichtweg ein paar Monate später nichts in Erinnerung geblieben und der Service war unaufmerksam und teilweise mit nicht ausreichend Training für den Job. Wie es einen Traveller Choice Award bekommen kann, ist mir unerklärlich.

12/01/2025: Unfortunately I have to give a very bad reception review, as the very arrogant and unpolite Sardinian waitress invited an elderly lady to squeeze into her seat more than once then indicated that the menu was only via QR and they didn't have a paper menu making it clear in an arrogant manner it was either this or pomi at that point we asked for the Director who was not up to the task of managing the situation saying that he wanted to resolve the situation and he who has been open for 20 years, kindly told him that there is we went and he rudely and not up to par said we want peaceful people I wished him a good continuation and we went to the next restaurant where we found kindness and courtesy Disizos Sardos. Maybe this restaurant isn't 😹 interested in customers perhaps because they are facilitated by the location.
For the answer you gave below, I'll reply here: If there are any idiots, it's you, as well as being incapable and rude, people like you shouldn't work. All this because we asked you for the paper menu that you didn't have and the waitress was embarrassing and arrogant. Shame on you and hope instead that the Nas don't come to visit you.
