09/08/2025: We were immediately struck by the truly charming location, with a panoramic view of the town. We chose fish-based dishes, which were delicious and excellently prepared. The dessert was especially noteworthy, as it was far above average. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices weren't cheap but were in line with the quality. Highly recommended.

06/08/2025: In a breathtaking location surrounded by greenery, amidst the sounds of nature. A glimpse into the true flavors of Sardinia. The dishes are nothing short of spectacular, exquisite, and made with truly fresh, high-quality fish. A must-try is the seafood fregola, but the appetizers and unique desserts are equally as impressive, from basil gelato to Mediterranean myrtle-flavored ice cream. All this in the company of a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff, who pair the good food with local hospitality. A must-visit if you're in San Teodoro to experience authentic flavors in a unique location.

25/07/2025: The LU Brutoni restaurant is located in the heart of San Teodoro on Via dei Gerani. During dinner, we sampled several dishes carefully prepared by the chef and meticulously plated, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Special dishes that are definitely worth mentioning: - Eggplant flan, pecorino chips, red datterino tomato emulsion and burrata - Artisanal button stuffed with grouper and leek, bisquet and raw shrimp. - Turbot in leek and shallot cream, crispy fennel and caramelized onion - Tuna in a guttiau crust, bell pepper sauce and florets. - Salted caramel semifreddo, cocoa crumble and berries - Milk and ginger cream, raspberry gel, papassino crumble and Maldon salt flakes. The service throughout the dinner was efficient and attentive, courtesy of the dining room staff, Benedetta and Sara. Although I couldn't choose the wine I wanted because they were temporarily out of stock, I paired it with a savory, minerally, and engaging Vermentino, the "Fiore del Sasso" from the Contralta winery. It's recommended to keep the wine list up to date, even physically. However, based on the above information regarding the dishes and service, my overall rating is the highest: 5.

20/07/2025: We visited this restaurant one evening and chose to try the tasting menu, which features a very interesting and detailed menu prepared by the chef. Refined dishes with excellent pairings and high-quality ingredients. It was a wonderful experience throughout the entire dinner. The only downside is the short distance between tables, which robs customers of privacy and makes it more difficult for the staff to work (e.g., customers having to stand up and/or move their chairs to allow waiters to pass, and staff not having enough space to place trays to serve food at the table). This is due to the numerous tables in a space that is not large enough to accommodate them. This is the reason for the 2-star AMBIENCE award.

30/07/2025: This restaurant definitely serves quality seafood, with generous portions. The service is excellent, even if they try to force you to vacate your table. The atmosphere is nice, but nothing more. Overall, I recommend this restaurant; I'd go back!

30/07/2025: Un paio di giorni fa io e il mio ragazzo siamo venuti a mangiare in questo ristorante, in quanto lui era già stato qui più volte negli anni scorsi ed era rimasto molto soddisfatto. Abbiamo mangiato una crudité di scampi e gamberi e a seguire, sotto consiglio del cameriere, i pacchetti con l’astice. I dolci erano buoni ma niente di speciale. Per quanto riguarda la qualità e il sapore del cibo, siamo rimasti discretamente soddisfatti, tuttavia ciò che ci costringe a dare due stelle è il conto e la gestione di esso. Sia l’antipasto sia il primo, erano indicati sul menù con prezzo €/hg per questo abbiamo chiesto consiglio al cameriere, che per la cruditè ci ha consigliato 500gr, che abbiamo confermato, e per i pacchetti con l’astice aveva dato prezzo di 35€ per persona. All’arrivo del proforma, siamo rimasti per un momento interdetti, perché avendo fatto due calcoli, non combaciavano con quanto scritto. Ci siamo quindi accorti che la nostra cruditè riportava la voce di 8hg facendo salire il conto di 30€, inoltre per quanto minimo, anche la pasta con l’astice era stata battuta a 37,50€ a persona al che abbiamo chiamato il cameriere per chiedere spiegazioni, sorvolando sul prezzo della pasta. Dopo aver fatto presente la nostra richiesta di quantità del crudo pari a 500gr, il cameriere ha risposto dicendo che i crostacei del giorno prima erano più piccoli, quindi avevano peso minore cercando di giustificarsi. Quando il mio ragazzo ha fatto presente in maniera un po’ accesa che se il prezzo va a peso, la quantità deve essere il più possibile rispettata, il cameriere ha ribattuto dicendo che ormai il pesce lo avevamo mangiato. Essendosi impuntato, il personale a quel punto è tornato indietro con un nuovo proforma, sul quale era stato riportato il nuovo peso di 550 gr. Inoltre per scusarsi ci è stato offerto il caffè o il digestivo che abbiamo però rifiutato. Non sappiamo se realmente ci sia stato un errore di comprensione o semplicemente la volontà di approfittarsi di due giovani ragazzi che non se ne intendono, ma lasceremo il beneficio del dubbio…

12/08/2025: A very charming flamingo-themed restaurant in San Teodoro, located on one of the main streets. It's a lovely place with both indoor and outdoor seating. We tried a few dishes and enjoyed them, as well as the attentive service. Prices are average, especially considering the location.

20/08/2025: Forget the competition. In San Teodoro, there's only one pizzeria and mussel bar for me. SALSERO. Always great ❣️

21/08/2025: Warm welcome and consistently delicious food. Prices are consistent with the quality, but not excessive: for an appetizer, two first courses, a second course, four glasses of wine, and a dessert (and a fregola for our daughter), we spent about €130. The portions are perfect, and you leave feeling full. The owner is super kind and helpful, and the staff is also very knowledgeable. I recommend it ✌️

20/08/2025: I'm starting from the premise that we had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. I went out with my boyfriend for a quiet evening and made a reservation based on the many excellent reviews. We arrived clearly early, and since our table wasn't ready yet, they asked us to wait a few minutes, which was fine. We were sitting waiting to be called, when the next customers arrived and were immediately seated. The person who greeted us at the beginning immediately realized their mistake and then seated us at another table with a less scenic view. We let it go because, as I repeat, we wanted to have a quiet evening, so we overlooked this small inconvenience. Unfortunately, the real problem arose when we were ignored for a whole hour and hadn't even placed our order. Our nerves grew as the later customers were already getting appetizers, and some had even received their first courses. After more than an hour and a half, I expected an excellent meal, but unfortunately, I have to say it fell short of my expectations. Besides the frustration caused by the complete lack of customer service, we also ate some disappointingly good food. I will absolutely never return. I'm sorry.
