29/12/2024: by pure chance I ended up in this place and I had a wonderful surprise. the place is very, very nice and clean. the staff were very kind and welcoming! but the thing that amazed me the most was the food or perhaps that we discovered this pearl 12 years after its opening 🥲. but let's get serious, space meat cooked very well and a killer appetizer that we almost didn't get!!!!!!!!!! highly recommended!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

09/10/2024: We stayed for 3 nights and it was a really good experience. The rooms look a bit old but they are clean, staff was nice and the breakfast was the best we‘ve had on the whole Island. I would recommend this hotel 👍🏼

22/12/2024: Terrible welcome, nothing else to add. 👇🏻 P.S. to respond to the ownership, I have absolutely no doubt that the place is historic, in fact it seems very nice, but I reluctantly noted that the politeness is unfortunately not at home. ⚠️Update to review: I was very surprised by the response received from the owner. I find that accusing a customer of "ruining the reputation" of a place just for having expressed a personal opinion on the experience he had experienced is an out-of-place and unprofessional reaction. I am sorry that my opinion, based on a welcome that I perceived as less than courteous, is being reduced to an unfair attack. I reiterate that my comment does not call into question the quality of the place in general, but simply points out a specific episode that I believe could be improved. I believe that every review, positive or negative, should be welcomed as an opportunity for growth, rather than as an excuse to respond in such an aggressive manner. However, I wish the restaurant to continue to be successful, with the hope that the management of the relationship with customers will continue. Greetings.

30/12/2024: 10 of us had dinner, 4 children and 6 adults, excellent cuisine, fresh raw materials, cleanliness like few others, excellent first appetizers and second courses, the cod cooked by God, amazing pumpkin risotto, highly recommended, if I have to make a suggestion, add a few dishes vegetarian plus, congratulations to all the staff

28/12/2024: I recently had the pleasure of revisiting BY NIGHT restaurant, a place that holds many memorable moments for me, especially as a pre- or post-nightclub destination. The recent renovations have truly elevated the ambiance, creating a more upscale fine dining experience while still retaining the friendly vibe of the staff, which always adds to the enjoyment. During our meal, we tried several fish dishes, and overall, they were delicious. The carpaccio was particularly outstanding and a highlight of the evening. However, I did find that the cozze gratinate were slightly overcooked and a bit dry, which detracted from their potential. Additionally, while the pasta was enjoyable, I think a little less oil would enhance the dish further. The company we had made the experience even more delightful. With a few adjustments to some dishes, I believe it could reach even greater heights. I look forward to returning and seeing how the menù evolves!

18/09/2024: We found ourselves in this place due to adverse weather conditions. We enter with the intention of having an aperitif (it was around 12.20) and then eating a little something for lunch afterwards. Desire that passes instantly! The girls on the staff are nice and kind, but the owner ruins the stay. Famous or not I don't care. Being in contact with the public also means knowing how to balance methods and timing. Continuing to say in front of customers that if they want to eat is ok, otherwise he won't take any more tables doesn't seem like the correct move to me, then let him do it. We are now in the low season and the place was not full, but rather it also had several empty tables. A little less…

28/12/2024: Along our walk we stopped at this place to have an aperitif, given that it was open and there were people at our requests they told us that they were closing. As well as serving us two aperitifs without a glass or chips that we could ignore, they very rudely gave us the glasses. So I say either you're closed and you don't serve people anymore otherwise serve them well. It was certainly not a good experience that we will never return to. I'm sorry but the experience was terrible. Never again......

19/11/2024: andavamo spesso da Baccus poiche' era un ottimo ristorante , ma l'ultima volta ci ha delusi parecchio : la mia insalata mista presentava varie foglie marce , il piatto di salumi e formaggi aveva tutte e tre le fette di guanciale rancido e il fritto misto di pesce e verdure offriva , tra l'altro , una sardina di almeno una settimana prima e le verdure erano pregne di olio......ma perche'? era un lunedi' , capisco : il giorno dopo la vostra chiusura settimanale , ma e' incredibile che un ristorante al vostro livello non controlli la qualita' del cibo....e stiamo parlando di 3 portate su 4! un vero peccato.

25/10/2024: No estoy seguro de cómo este restaurante obtuvo una estrella Michelin, pero no vimos evidencia de ello cuando visitamos. Éramos una de las dos parejas en el restaurante y el personal de camareros estaban más interesados en sus propias conversaciones que en servir en las mesas. Además, la comida no se preparó correctamente en absoluto - pedí el carpaccio de ternera que se suponía que se marinaba en cítricos y soja con mayonesa de alcaparra y un huevo marinado y verduras. En primer lugar - el huevo NO fue marinado en absoluto, solo un huevo duro viejo y simple. Segundo, la carne no tenía sabor a cítricos ni a soja. Mi esposa pidió los calamares que venían con papas fritas, servidos en un cono de papel. ¿Deberíamos discutir nuestro postre? Ambos pedimos su tarta de queso, que en realidad se sirvió en un vaso. En el fondo del vaso había nueces trituradas y particularizadas, luego medio vaso de la tarta de queso, luego el resto era de una mezcla de frutas demasiado dulce. Los dos sacamos toda la fruta de nuestros platos para llegar a la tarta de queso. Era adecuado, pero nada sobre lo que escribiría a casa. Y las nueces simplemente no parecían ir con el pastel de queso en absoluto. Servicio de mierda - comida adecuada, pero no preparado de acuerdo con el menú y un postre pretencioso. Ahorre su dinero y no se moleste con este.

22/12/2024: Superb location, I really liked it, both during the day and in the evening. Very good food and all the staff very nice and kind. There are sunbeds where you can sit, everything is superlative. The ideal location to relax or dine. The place looks immaculate.
