28/08/2025: What can I say about this place? A perfect restaurant, with extremely friendly, fast, and professional service, great food, and a breathtaking terrace. We've been to many places and restaurants, but this one ranks high among the most unforgettable experiences. Thank you for the wonderful evening, we'll definitely be back!

13/07/2025: Amazing lunch! I was already impressed by the description of the dishes and the friendliness of Claudio, the owner, over the phone when I booked. We arrived and opted for the tasting menus. Everything, from start to finish, was excellent and plentiful. Beautifully presented, we had the opportunity to sample many local specialties. I thank Claudio and Beatrice for allowing us to try exquisite Sardinian dishes. This is a place worth keeping in mind and definitely returning.

10/07/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria La Pineta is located in Arzana at Vico 1, Via Don Orione 4. The restaurant, which opened in 1977, has retained its original style. The historic photographs displayed throughout the restaurant are also beautiful. For lunch, we enjoyed the typical Ogliastra cuisine, including culurgiones (a type of pasta), orrubioloso (a type of pasta), and the fantastic roast meats. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very family-friendly; don't expect a fancy restaurant, but this makes up for the genuine hospitality and informality of the place. A truly authentic place where you can savor the flavors of Sardinia. The view from the parking lot, overlooking the coast, is beautiful. Even though it was a fairly hot day, the cool air from the pine forest stretching along the mountainside added to the atmosphere. A well-deserved five stars.

18/07/2025: First time here. Spectacular! We ate wonderfully and had a great chat with Angelo, a wonderful person. The grilled fish was exceptional, as were the malloreddus and culurgiones (forgive me if I spelled them wrong). Everything was delicious! Congratulations!

11/07/2025: Excellent restaurant: traditional dishes, strictly handmade. The culurgiones and sebadas are top-notch! Excellent service. The owner, Anna (a superb cook), and the waiter, who continues the family's historic business, were very kind. It was a pleasure to chat with them. Anna came out of the kitchen, carrying the pasta and filling, and showed us how to close the culurgiones. We'll treasure them and return!

30/08/2025: I highly recommend this place, even though I don't like seafood, it's really well done🙉💥💥 we got a glass of wine as a treat

29/08/2025: We had personally reserved a table for two this evening on the hotel's recommendation. We were assigned the first table, right next to the entrance door, even though tables with better locations were visibly unreserved in all the rooms. We expressed a wish to be seated elsewhere, but this request was brusquely refused. The host dismissed us with the words, "It's okay!" We have never experienced such rudeness in Sardinia. Update, August 29: The host's arrogant response is an ineffective attempt to justify his inexcusable behavior with lies.

23/08/2025: Disappointment this time! Totally disappointing meal apart from the delicious pizzas! Totally overwhelmed staff! On the other hand, it's a rare restaurant that offers air conditioning! We'll come back anyway!

23/08/2025: Recommended! Excellent mixed antipasto. Excellent portion of calamari. Well-maintained restaurant, nestled in the pine forest with a sea view. Friendly and helpful staff.

23/08/2025: Welcomed by a guy who is not at all empathetic, if you choose catering it is a duty to be, first sentence: I can't find your reservation, second sentence: sit wherever you want but, that table is occupied 🤔, third sentence I warned you before you ordered... After all these niceties we ask for spaghetti, mussels and asparagus and... instead they bring pasta, ciccioneddus, I think that's what it's called, which was floating in something that wasn't even good oil. I'll stop here, we came with a different memory, now you're at the end

06/09/2025: A great place for a dinner with friends. The appetizers are delicious, and the first courses, like fregola and scallop ravioli, are delicious. I recommend the sea bass stuffed with shrimp. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, very fast and efficient.

06/09/2025: Friendly staff, they have a gluten-free menu. The food was good. You can enjoy a sea view if you eat on the terrace.

11/08/2025: After traveling a long inland road in Sardinia, we arrived at this wonderful, isolated restaurant. Since it's not exactly easy to get to, I recommend calling before arriving to avoid missing out. It's a truly charming and quaint place. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation, we weren't welcomed as we'd hoped. They wouldn't give us a table on the small terrace, which remained empty forever (they gave it to us because someone was already there!), while they wanted to give us a table just outside the terrace entrance. We finally managed to get a table a little further out of the way. Perhaps for this very reason, the waitress didn't seem too enthusiastic about serving my girlfriend and me. She didn't know much about wine, but that wasn't what surprised or displeased us more, like the lack of many dishes on the menu, but rather the welcome. I think knowing how to treat a customer is the foundation of anyone in this profession. Fortunately, the manager, who was very attentive, understanding, and helpful, cheered up the evening a bit. I absolutely recommend going there and maybe I'll go back too hoping to try some other dishes

04/09/2025: Nice restaurant with a large selection of Sardinian specialties and pizza. We've been there a few times and were never disappointed. Neither with the meat nor with the other dishes. Unfortunately, the gate isn't always open, which is when the atmosphere is particularly pleasant.

01/09/2025: We had dinner with excellent crab trofie, it took half an hour 😁 abundant dish, my wife spaghetti with clams and bottarga excellent huge dish, for the second course calamari prawns and fish excellent we recommend it 👍 young staff quick and with a smile 👍

07/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo bel ristorante con una vista splendida sul mare. Abbiamo provato come entrata l’insalata tiepida di mare che si può fare di meglio, però il pesce spada è il tonno erano buonissimi. Bella carta di vini. Prezzi in po troppo elevati. Camerieri cordiali e gentilissimi.

07/08/2025: Service lässt zu wünschen übrig, Keller sind unaufmerksam, man musste ewig warten, bis man bestellen kann und dann nochmal bis das Essen kommt. Handzeichen (um auf uns aufmerksam zu machen) wurden ein paar Mal ignoriert. Das alles darf in einem so gehobenen Restaurant nicht passieren. Essen war durchschnittlich und den hohen Preis nicht wert. Keine Empfehlung!

23/08/2025: We made a reservation for lunch; there were four of us. Three of us ordered tagliolini with clams, bottarga, and cherry tomatoes. Needless to say, the clams, besides being frozen, didn't taste good, and the cherry tomatoes on the plate were unpleasant. Disappointed, we still ordered a fruit platter, which we didn't appreciate at all. Some fruits weren't in season, others didn't taste good. I don't feel like not recommending it, because it could have been a coincidence given the other positive reviews, but we didn't enjoy it. As for the staff, they were super kind and helpful; we can't say a single bad word about the service!

22/08/2025: The mussels were very juicy and overpowered the mussel flavor. The fried fish tasted like it was made with bad oil. The service was mediocre and the prices high.
