10/05/2025: We had an excellent meal yesterday, a little out of the way on via Piemonte. The owners - no, the whole family are so warm. If locals also dine here, that is also a good sign for a 51-year tradition. The senior boss - an original - who speaks 6 languages. The look into the kitchen - everything is sparkling clean and everyone is laughing! Typical Sardinian dishes (culurgiones) delicious and always. Thanks for the hospitality

01/06/2025: The most beautiful and welcoming hotel. Definitely treat yourself to a room with sea view, so worth it! Everything was beautiful and well maintained, the spa area inviting with a gorgeous view out to sea. Also very capable and talented massage therapists. Room and all the hotel and outdoor areas always impeccably clean, very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Pool and beach with very comfy loungers and plenty of shade. The bed and pillow was also the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. The only downside was the food sometimes - it wasn’t always as good as we would have expected. But as I had the most wonderful time there I can’t take away a star even for that.

08/05/2025: A good evening, very typical (we fell on the same evening as the hunting association evening, there was singing and music). Good quality and quantity food.

02/05/2025: Excellent restaurant, the dishes are many and refined, this was the only place in the Baunei area that had the typical Sardinian pig without us having to book. There were 3 of us and we had 2 appetizers with cured meats and goat's cheeses (exceptional!) 3 portions of suckling pig, 3 side dishes of baked vegetables and a bottle of canonau and water, spending around €50 each. If you want to taste typical Sardinian cuisine in a beautiful natural setting like the Golgo plateau, this is the right place!

12/05/2025: The restaurant offers solid, good food at really fair prices - an excellent price-performance ratio that you can't find anywhere of this quality. It is particularly suitable for anyone who wants to eat something good quickly without having to forego taste or friendly service. The service was attentive and very kind, which made the overall experience even more pleasant. We had a Sardinian Primi Piatti and a pizza - both tasted good. The Sardinian pasta was authentically prepared, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The pizza was classic, with a thin, crispy base and fresh ingredients. In terms of taste, everything was on a solid level - no culinary revelation, but absolutely satisfactory. If you're looking for fine dining, you might not find anything extraordinary here, but that's exactly what makes this place so charming: honest food that tastes good and fills you up. All in all, a recommended place for an uncomplicated lunch or dinner. Ideal for a break while strolling through town or a quick bite after work. I would be happy to come back and can recommend it to anyone who values ​​fair prices and friendly service.

04/06/2025: L’accueil a manqué de chaleur, même si un digestif a été offert en fin de repas. J’ai commandé une fregola aux fruits de mer à 25€, malheureusement beaucoup trop salée, avec des crevettes impossibles à manger. Dommage pour un plat qui semblait pourtant appétissant sur le papier. Les spaghettis aux palourdes étaient également très gras, ce qui a rendu le plat assez lourd. Globalement, le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas au rendez-vous. Nous sommes sortis déçus de l’expérience.

22/05/2025: Has all the potential to be great, but the food was sad, and I can't imagine that as a chef, let alone an Italian chef, you are proud of the mussels I had for lunch (pre-cooked I think?! While mussels seriously only need 6/8 minutes? And then the pasta vongole with a whopping 9 shells for 20€, ouch.

28/04/2025: Heerlijke lunch met een enorme keuze uit de kaart. De gerechten zijn bijzonder smaakvol en bijzonder vers. De bediening is erg aardig en adequaat. Een heerlijke vermentino als huiswijn.

10/03/2025: We first had a mixed salad and baked potatoes and then 2 pizzas, everything was wonderful, the pizzas had the typical Neapolitan dough, very fluffy and great taste, the starters were also very tasty, cozy atmosphere! They had a house wine for 5 dl only €6, this was also excellent! We would come back!

06/06/2025: We visited twice, once for breakfast (cappuccino and croissant with vanilla cream) and once for dinner (a kind of boiled beef with potatoes and grilled vegetables and Sardinian ravioli). Breakfast: Excellent, and we'll definitely come back for breakfast :) The service was also great! Dinner: Everything tasted perfect, but everything was lukewarm, and the oven-baked potatoes were certainly not freshly prepared, as they were still cold inside and lukewarm on the outside. The grilled vegetables were initially forgotten but then served very quickly upon our request, and they were also only lukewarm – as were the meat and the ravioli – perhaps these dishes are eaten lukewarm (?). Evening service: The waitress was very attentive, and we tried to speak Italian, but somehow I don't think our waitress spoke any Italian (?-maybe Spanish?). I wanted to order a lemonade, but she said they didn't serve any (a restaurant without Lemon Soda or Fanta?) – well, there are worse things :) The ambiance is, of course, unbeatable. Beware of the many mosquitoes/gnats in the evening – wear long clothing :)

29/05/2025: We had a very, very good meal, the ambiance was wonderful, and the service was very friendly and patient with our language barrier. A uniquely beautiful place, just like the people there.

17/05/2025: I booked a table for 15 people at the last minute. Despite the very short notice I have to say that they far exceeded expectations. Excellent food, super quality and excellent and courteous service. Very fresh products, land and sea menus truly abundant. SUPER GLUTEN FREE OPTION. Thanks Cristina

15/05/2025: After all the restaurants I've tried in Ogliastra, for me the best is Sa Mola, Gianni is unbeatable.

22/05/2025: Just had a pizza at this restaurant, ok we hadn’t pre booked but we were shoved down the bottom , the power went off twice while we were there. pizza was ok although a little watery and undercooked. We finished our meal and went to the bar to pay. We asked if we could pay and the waiter said ok then proceeded to open a bottle of prosecco and collect glasses and then serve it to his Italian friends where he stood and had a chat whilst we were just left standing at the bar without any clue how long he was going to be. Eventually another waiter came over and was very pleasant and took our payment. I would say the food was mediocre, the service was shocking and I won’t be rushing back there.

06/06/2025: Incredibly delicious! We had three courses and all were phenomenal. The price/performance ratio was absolutely spot on.
