17/11/2025: In nomen omen. We went there on the first evening of our vacation, right after arriving in Calasetta. At the end of our vacation, it was definitely our best place. The food was truly excellent, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the tuna tartare was already sold out, and I recommend showing up early if you want to try it. We consoled ourselves with a lovely, freshly seared grilled belly that, months later, I still dream about. Otherwise, everything else was decidedly top-notch.

23/04/2026: A great experience! We visited Ristorante Lavori In Corso with five people (four adults and a child) and everyone left very satisfied. The dishes were delicious – fresh, refined, and full of flavor. Everyone found something to their liking, and the quality of the ingredients was truly impressive. The service deserves special mention – incredibly friendly, professional, and dedicated. The staff paid attention to every detail and clearly went out of their way to make our evening special and comfortable, even for the child. Definitely a place worth recommending – we'll gladly return!

16/04/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant and was truly satisfied. The dishes were beautifully presented and the ingredients were excellent. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend it.

15/03/2026: We had lunch at Oasi, intrigued by the positive reviews, but we really can't explain why. Let's start by saying that I'm not in the habit of writing negative reviews, but it's only right to offer a few tips for those who spend little time in Carloforte. We had a mix of appetizers, including a hard octopus salad, a vegetable and tuna caponata (I think it was tuna because the flavor was unrecognizable), which was obviously reheated, a tuna mousse, and some frozen tuna with Tropea onions. They looked like they'd just been taken out of the fridge, inedible! A tartare that looked fresh but had no connection with its seasonings. The man at the restaurant was kind, no complaints, but the quality was terrible!

13/05/2026: And this is the second time we've had dinner there, everything was perfect, the waiters were good and well-prepared, the owner Antonello makes you feel welcomed, wanted and cared for as if you were at home, the service is impeccable, the menu is varied and complete, the dishes were delicious, the tuna tartare and the carpaccio were excellent like everything else, the place is super refined, thanks for everything, we will definitely be back.

17/11/2025: This restaurant overlooks Calasetta's main road, with a holiday atmosphere, a pleasant buzz of customers, and attentive yet very friendly and approachable staff, who served us professionally and quickly despite the busy schedule. We had a very good meal, obviously seafood-focused, though perhaps a bit pricey for the type and portions. Definitely one of the best we've had this summer.

17/05/2026: We each ordered one main course (primi) and it was delicious. The portions were generous and the flavor was excellent. The waitress was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. I recommend it!

28/04/2026: We went last night and had appetizers, first courses, and second courses: everything was delicious! The lady who served us was really kind and the staff was generally very friendly. Fast service and excellent food. Prices were good and average. We'll definitely be back!

01/05/2026: A charming family-run restaurant. The fixed and à la carte menus are primarily seafood-based, but also feature a few meat dishes (the lamb and culurgiones are recommended). The owners and staff are friendly and helpful.

27/04/2026: The location is truly top-notch: simple, well-maintained, and incredibly welcoming, the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease. Even though it's not right in the city center, it's still very easy to get to and absolutely worth a visit. The real star, however, is the food: simply exceptional. We were greeted with a refreshing and delicious aperitif. We ate like heaven, with incredibly fresh seafood dishes, authentic and perfectly balanced flavors. Every course was meticulously prepared, from the plating to the choice of ingredients. You can taste the exceptional quality of the ingredients and the great passion in the kitchen. Every bite was bursting with flavor, bold yet refined: truly captivating cuisine. The people are a huge added value: Laura is sweet, incredibly helpful, and truly down-to-earth. She loves what she does, takes care of every detail, and manages to create a warm, family-like atmosphere, as she did with my partner and me. Ignazio, the chef, is incredibly passionate about his food, and this is reflected in every dish: he turns out everything exceptionally well, and you can see how much he enjoys spoiling his guests, allowing them to experience authentic and special flavors. They are truly wonderful people, always smiling and attentive. It's one of those places that stays in your heart and one of the best restaurants I've tried, without a doubt. 02/05/2026: An absolute must for fish lovers! We spent an evening here that left nothing to be desired in terms of cuisine. The tuna was exceptionally fresh, and the preparation was of the highest standard. We had the pleasure of sampling our way through the menu: Appetizers: The carpaccio, the tartare, and the marinated tuna were incredibly tender and perfectly balanced in flavor. The highlight: We were particularly impressed by a dish that resembled braised cheeks (similar to beef cheeks) served in a fantastic tomato sauce – incredibly tender and aromatic! Main course: The tuna steak was exactly as it should be: crispy on the outside and perfectly translucent on the inside. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the high quality, and the wine list also offers fair prices. Overall, a wonderful experience. A clear 5 stars!

08/02/2026: Lunch, August 25, 2023. Impeccable tuna quality and good tuna preparations—let's just say that as far as grilling bluefin tuna is concerned, there's nothing to complain about. But for the rest... the first courses were awful; the menu listed "fresh couscous with seared tuna." The bowl containing the food and couscous were microwave-hot; the couscous was simply boiled in water and topped with cherry tomato wedges, canned chickpeas, and 5 (five) diced grilled tuna. "White lasagna with pesto, tuna, and zucchini" was the same. The lasagna was reheated in the microwave, the plate was piping hot, and the lasagna pasta was decidedly too thick and barely seasoned (given the type of restaurant, I wasn't expecting such skimpiness and carelessness in the preparation). The octopus and potato appetizer was rubbery, and the potatoes had been boiled at least two days before (inedible). Expectations were high, but they were disappointed. Not to mention that the owner, busy haranguing his friends' other tables, didn't bother listening to our complaints. He even missed the checkout, leaving the waitress to deal with the situation, which, in my opinion, was unacceptable. I won't be returning. PS: On a positive note, fortunately, the couscous wasn't charged.

29/04/2026: The restaurant was very well-maintained, as was the service from a young woman and a young man who looked after us throughout the rest of the meal. I chose the breaded swordfish fillet (see photo), and I must say I was a bit disappointed. The fish flavor was too overpowering, so it tasted like a cutlet. Not bad, but I expected something more. The other two people I had lunch with chose the tuna alla carlofortina and grilled corvina fillet, both excellent. Next, they had a mille-feuille with a pistachio cream. It was recommended to me by the property where I'm staying, both for the excellent quality of the food and for the food inside (there's no specific sign outside, it just says "restaurant"); the window display was very inviting. I'd recommend it too!
