The added value of this restaurant is the wait staff: young, super-efficient, and professional, whose kindness and courtesy aren't just superficial, but, in my opinion, stem from a desire to do their job well. 17/07/2026: We were a group of more than 10 people, and they seated us outside the restaurant, on a nearby sloping street, which meant that both the tables and chairs were uneven. The street, just a few meters from the restaurant, even crossed a pedestrian crossing, which was rather unhygienic when carrying the food to the table. The pizza, while tasty, was rather small compared to many other restaurants, and it was also more expensive. Additionally, when we went to order dessert, they only had a couple of options available (one of them with only one serving), and even then, there weren't enough desserts per person for everyone in our group.

The fish was very tasty, one of the best I've had in my life. Kids were happy with their simple dishes, and the service was impeccable. Everyone was cheerful and accommodating. We'd gladly return.

The staff is extremely courteous and attentive. Welcoming atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. Good value for money for the quality offered.

09/08/2026: The restaurant's breathtaking location is superb, overlooking the church in the small square in the heart of Iglesias' old town. With dishes like fregola, dorado, and other seafood, "Villa di Chiesa" perfectly represents Sardinian cuisine. I couldn't find a single negative point. Making a reservation is always a good idea, as the restaurant is usually very busy, and deservedly so.

07/08/2026: The service was terrible: they didn't even bring the drinks on time and served all the dishes except one, which arrived another 20 minutes late. To make matters worse, they took forever to bring the bill and didn't even have the decency to offer the delayed drink or dish; they showed no sign of any kindness or sense of responsibility, which says a lot about them.

13/05/2026: And this is the second time we've had dinner there, everything was perfect, the waiters were good and well-prepared, the owner Antonello makes you feel welcomed, wanted and cared for as if you were at home, the service is impeccable, the menu is varied and complete, the dishes were delicious, the tuna tartare and the carpaccio were excellent like everything else, the place is super refined, thanks for everything, we will definitely be back.

31/07/2026: I wanted to taste the best tuna... and I found a place where tuna is considered a top-of-the-line product! A place where tuna represents the highest quality because they catch it themselves, take care of every detail, and serve it exactly as it should be to enhance its value. From appetizer to main course, we ate tuna and belly of excellent quality, flavor, and delicacy! The service is top-notch, but don't be intimidated by this, as the prices are perfectly aligned with the market. To wash it all down, a delicious Calaseta rosé... a perfect match for the delicious food.

29/07/2026: Friendly welcome, pleasant terrace. The baccalà appetizers were very good. The tartare was unseasoned and therefore uninteresting. The pistachio cheesecake dessert was just frozen ice cream, nothing special. They were out of tiramisu; perhaps it was good?

24/07/2026: We had dinner here twice during our stay, and it was excellent both times! The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming, right in the heart of Buggerru. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. One thing that made this restaurant truly special for me was that they offer gluten-free pasta, which can be difficult to find. Marta was absolutely wonderful—she speaks English, was incredibly kind and attentive, and was constantly making sure every guest was well looked after. She even offered me gluten-free bread without me having to ask, which I really appreciated. The homemade desserts are fantastic. We tried the Crème Brûlée and the Ricotta with strawberries, and both were absolutely delicious. We also loved the spring salad, the appetizers, and everything else we ordered. A big thank you to Marta and the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Buggerru!

06/08/2026: We went in and it said "air conditioned." It was unbearable to stay inside in the constant 40 degrees. We waited 1.5 hours for our dishes after several errors. Some of the food was good, others were too much to stomach. We'll never go back.

15/06/2026: Excellent food, quality, and a family atmosphere. Excellent management, with a wealth of local history captured in the paintings on the walls. Plenty of space for large groups of friends. You can choose from a fixed menu of meat or fish, or a wide selection of grilled dishes.
