29/10/2025: What can I say? It's truly an excellent place! Inside, you eat in a very characteristic cave carved out of the tuff. Excellent food, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I came here encouraged by the reviews, and it exceeded my expectations! Well done!!!

13/10/2025: If you're a fan of sophisticated table settings, this isn't your place: paper placemats, glasses reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns. However, if you want to eat well and in quantity, go to this place. The seafood dishes are truly tasty. The staff is a bit rustic, but they quickly loosen up and become friendly. Fair prices. It's a place you'll want to return to. I recommend making a reservation; it's a restaurant loved by many.

23/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, and despite some positive expectations, the experience fell short.
When ordering, we were advised to add appetizers because the kitchen would have a 40-minute wait for the entrees. I found this advice inappropriate, especially since I don't order appetizers simply because I don't feel like it.
The three of us ordered three first courses, two second courses to share, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and three coffees. The quality of the dishes was good, but nothing that justified some shady choices.
The most unpleasant thing was finding a bottle of water on the bill for €9. A completely unfair price, which I honestly consider exaggerated,
not to mention downright robbery.
27/10/2025: A very elegant restaurant, away from the tourist crowds, but still in a great location in the old part of the city. Excellent food and service.

The quality of the food is truly excellent...
The service is quite slow... only one person serving...
The prices are quite high for the small quantity of food...

The atmosphere is truly lovely, the staff is polite and very helpful.
The only flaw... the food: the mixed appetizers, six courses for €20, weren't exactly impressive. The only noteworthy dish, in terms of flavor, was the gratinated mussels (unfortunately, the mussels were really small and not very full). The baked sea bass was much better.
Taste, as we know, is subjective, but I expect much more from a seafood restaurant in Taranto.

Being charged 27€ for one small piece of cake and 2 glasses of house wine - both of which were, of course, not on the menu, made me feel a bit cheated.
We will not return - as was probably expected.
02/12/2025: It's true that quality comes at a price, but a price adjustment would allow the establishment to achieve a five-star rating with honors. Otherwise, the dishes are impeccable, the ingredients and their preparation are excellent, and the service staff are impeccable and extremely kind. But, I repeat, it's a bit overpriced, starting with a cover charge of a whopping €3.50 per person.

02/10/2025: Truly excellent place! A gem a little further from the center where you can eat excellent quality meat along with the specialties prepared by the owners. From sandwiches to pucce and grilled meats. Recommended!

The setting is quaint, with attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Every course, from appetizer to dessert, was perfect: quality ingredients, balanced flavors, and meticulous presentation. A truly memorable dinner, both for its flavor and hospitality. Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: I would have liked to leave a positive review by enjoying their products, but I wasn't allowed to, neither for take-out, which is after 9:15 pm, nor sitting at an empty table. Luckily, I found more proactive grill restaurants nearby!

03/11/2025: Very nice place. We had dinner in the little alley and the Service and Staff was great. The Food was all good, we had some Pizza, Cozze and Salad. We also had the famous primitivo red Wine and just loved it. We can recommend this place.
