05/01/2026: I don't know how it gets such high reviews! Orecchiette with turnip tops floating in the water, all you could taste was the anchovy! Grilled vegetables full of garlic and terrible caciocavallo podolico cheese. Not to mention the coffee, undrinkable! I couldn't digest the orecchiette and was sick all afternoon!! Nope!

29/11/2025: Excellent food Courteous and friendly service I thank Giovanni and Gianmarco who welcomed us and guided us through our selection of dishes, suggesting their specialties while respecting our tastes and needs. I recommend it to anyone visiting Monte Sant'Angelo.

03/02/2026: Terrible experience. The pizzas arrived burned after an hour and a half, and the taste was nothing special. The owner was truly rude. It was unacceptable to pay a €2 cover charge, receive menus wrapped in ribbons, and not find the table set upon arrival. Children were running around, knocking over chairs and tables, and the manager didn't say anything... Even the attention to cleanliness and hygiene seemed truly lacking. **UPDATE** Comparing a woman to an animal just because of a jacket is truly despicable. Unprofessional attitude. In any case, your response demonstrates the lowliness of the place...

13/01/2026: I went for lunch and ordered a medium rare steak. They brought me a thin slice, cut into pieces, and cooked through. I expected a good portion of medium rare steak. I pointed this out to the owner, who reiterated that the meat was only half-cooked. A terrible experience, never to be repeated.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. 16/11/2025: Hotel located on a hill in Mattinata with breathtaking views of the beach and town. Clean and comfortable room with two entrances, one from the parking lot and one from the porch with panoramic views. Excellent breakfast served under a beautiful pergola on a warm October day. Friendly and professional staff. Ample parking. The nearest beach and marina are just a few minutes' walk away. Definitely worth a try.

17/12/2025: A very cozy restaurant with an elegant interior and an incredible Christmas atmosphere - beautiful decorations create a feeling of a real holiday. The establishment is popular, so it is better to book a table in advance. The cuisine is at a high level: the dishes are delicious, the presentation is thoughtful. The service is impeccable - attentive, professional waiters. The girl singer left a special impression: her voice and performance added warmth and special magic to the evening. I definitely want to come back again.

23/10/2025: I've been a customer for years now, and returning to Ostaria is always like coming home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food consistently top-quality, and the prices are truly fair. The meat and fish are always fresh, the dishes authentic and prepared with attention to every detail: never a disappointment. Michele is fantastic, always available and attentive, and the entire staff contributes to the impeccable service: fast, courteous, and with that touch of familiarity that truly makes the difference. A genuine place, where you eat well and feel good. If you're in the area, stopping here is a must.

16/07/2025: Pranzo in trabucco prenotato all'ultimo momento, accoglienza ottima! Antipasto di gamberi alla paprika ottimo, frittura di pesce leggera e di qualità , quantità nella norma. Unico neo la carta dei vini con i prezzi un po troppo elevati però consono alla difficoltà di approvvigionamento. Personale gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente consigliato!

13/07/2025: Va da sé che decidere di cenare su un trabucco alza l’asticella, si è scelto evidentemente di vivere una determinata “esperienza ”. Se poi questo avviene in una serata di mare piatto e cielo limpido, quel cielo e quel mare che fanno seguito a qualche giorno di maestrale, con un tavolo letteralmente a 2 metri, accarezzati da una leggerissima brezza ed in compagnia di gabbiani adagiati sulle tavole, con al fianco Peschici by night a strapiombo sul mare come scenario, resta solo da augurarsi una cena all’altezza della magia del contesto. Qui si va anche oltre. Provare per credere. Una brigata di giovani professioniste e professionisti hanno dato vita ad un autentico concerto mostrando efficienza e coordinamento nel servizio degno di una ristorazione stellata, seppure in un contesto logisticamente “difficile”. Il maître e lo Chef, con in carico le comande di tutti i tavoli, hanno atteso che le luci della notte si impadronissero dello scenario, lasciando ai commensali il tempo per immergersi in una atmosfera surreale, per poi dare il ciak, dar vita al servizio di una carta ampia e clamorosamente elaborata, certamente oltre le aspettative. Da Applausi ! Concedendoci un Ancestrale, metodo classico, abbiamo degustato portate di una grande cucina, per le materie prime certamente, ma limitarsi ad apprezzare le freschezze del mare sarebbe stato riduttivo, piuttosto, vivaddio, anche per elaborazione ed accostamenti arditi che i più non si aspetterebbero su un trabucco. Segnaliamo tra le eccellenze al nostro tavolo: tartare di tonno con formaggio fresco e zest di arancia, la seppia grigliata con pesto di mandorle e scaglie di tartufo. Il carpaccio di mela e cipolla rossa con olio alla menta, semplicemente da effetto woww. La sezione dessert non poteva non essere all’altezza…. boccondivino al cioccolato affogato al caffè… Appunto …Divino ! Gelato ai gelsi rossi con ostia ripiena. Strepitoso ! Molto interessante, e completa, anche la carta di accompagnamento ai dessert. In definitiva un’esperienza da annoverare tra le assolute eccellenze. Assolutamente!

24/12/2025: The food will definitely be good, considering we arrived for lunch last Friday and it was closed. When we called, they told us they hadn't updated the hours on Google, and we found ourselves without lunch in a rather remote and abandoned town with no other options. We had to settle for the only place open nearby, where the food was also bad. Very bad for a restaurant recommended in the famous Michelin guide. Not to mention a Google profile for a hotel when it should be a restaurant. I'm sorry, it's part of the terrible customer service, and these are details that shouldn't be overlooked. I hope they correct this attitude and pay more attention to updating customers, especially since, given where I am, I plan my visit, so I don't drop by randomly. I don't think we'll be back.

06/10/2025: It's fine for one night. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but poorly soundproofed. The elevator is very noisy. The restaurant offers a limited, touristy menu. However, the reception and restaurant staff are extremely courteous and helpful.

05/10/2025: We stayed just one night, but had a wonderful time. The restaurant was excellent and the staff were top-notch. Highly recommended.

15/09/2025: Excellent food, large portions, and a wide selection! We grabbed a quick lunch, being passing through, and were very satisfied.

27/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance during our vacation in Manfredonia and it was a pleasant discovery: great prices and good food. I absolutely recommend the meatballs. We also had the baked pasta and lasagna and were completely satisfied. When we return to Manfredonia, we'll definitely stop by again for takeout.

27/12/2025: Everything was very good! From the service to the food. Minimal wait. I had pizza and my wife had baked sea bass, both delicious! We had a portion of fries with caciocavallo fondue while we waited, and they were delicious, although I would have preferred more caciocavallo. Upon arrival, they also gave us an entrée of stale bread with oil, oregano, and garlic, all delicious!

22/12/2025: I have to say I feel at home. The welcome is warm. A very quiet place for almost any occasion. The pizza chef is top notch. The staff is kind and friendly. In short, go there, the food is great.
