22/07/2026: I booked through TheFork 10 minutes before arriving, and they didn't have a reservation, but they were very kind, even making some people stand up to join tables and seat us. 10 out of 10.
The food was good, the service was attentive and fast, and the staff were helpful.
They even added 20% to the bill, even though it wasn't included.

As a regular customer, I can only confirm, with every single visit, the absolute excellence of Osteria del Borgo in Borgo Celano. It's that special place where you know you'll never be disappointed.
The first thing that catches the eye (and the palate) is the extraordinary freshness of the ingredients: every dish on the menu is a tribute to authenticity and the authentic flavors of yesteryear, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Whether you choose one of their excellent pizzas, easy to digest and packed with premium ingredients, or any of their other dishes, the quality is always top-notch.
To accompany the meal, there's an excellent selection of wines, perfect for showcasing the dishes.
The real added value, however, is the welcome. Michele, the owner, is an exceptional person: always available, attentive to every customer, and capable of making you feel at home from the first moment with his extraordinary hospitality.

In addition to a technically superb dish, I found a rare welcome: the owner's exceptional courtesy truly makes all the difference. The quality-price ratio is excellent. A well-stocked cellar is perfect for wine lovers. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well without surprises on the bill.

15/07/2026: My mother and I stayed for 3 days. Mrs. Vittoria and the staff were very kind and welcoming.
The B&B is centrally located, just 15 minutes from the beach.
The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was plentiful with quality products.
We highly recommend it and will be back.
13/07/2026: In the pearl of the Gargano, this B&B and restaurant was truly a treat. A relaxing weekend, enchanted by the B&B's strategic location, with the pedestrian street on one side and access to the wonderful historic center on the other. Delicious food, a well-stocked breakfast including fresh local fruit, homemade cakes, croissants, and shortbread biscuits, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The room had a sea view, was clean, and smelled great. Congratulations to all the staff and to Mrs. Vittoria. A heartfelt thank you 💓

22/08/2025: Well-stocked beach, fabulous sea view...a little further on, walking towards the rocks, the sea is Caribbean-like with very warm water, immersed in nature!! I recommend it both for the location and for the bar service, which has a rotisserie full of delicious things to eat and, for those who want, there's also kebab and piadina shop!!! Showers are available for a fee at the price of 3 euros!!!

I ordered baked John Dory with potatoes (a few, thin ones) and cherry tomatoes (full of too much added sugar to flatter them) and a sparkling water. The dish was so-so, the price was 54 euros, too much for a mediocre meal. It's especially annoying that they play with the weight of the fish, a paltry dish passed off (in hindsight) as 500 grams (if only!). It really seemed like a tourist trap to me; we're not cannon fodder.
28/06/2026: The food was good, but not *that* good. It was also really too expensive for these small portions. A shame, because we had been really looking forward to it beforehand. Could it be that tourists get a different menu (and price?) than the locals?

17/05/2026: I talk to the owner that they always get the orders wrong, and instead of fixing it, he tells me to go eat somewhere else. I ask for risotto and I get rice in broth.
