24/01/2026: We stopped, drawn by the informal atmosphere: a wooden kiosk with large windows on the waterfront, the kind where fishermen once cooked, so you'd expect to eat spaghetti with clams cooked al dente with a glass of white wine. Instead, we were surprised to find ourselves in a "pretentious" restaurant with leather chairs, a serious waiter, and, most importantly, the obligation to order a very elaborate and therefore overpriced tasting menu for our lunch break, which was supposed to be quick and easy. No simple dishes: just sophisticated combinations that you have to be in the mood for... and which we didn't have the urge for at that moment. A good chef should be judged primarily by his ability to please EVERYONE'S palate, not by the fact that he thinks he's in a MasterChef competition every day! I don't argue with the price, but I do protest the imposition of a fixed-price menu (not specified before entering and sitting down), with no option for personalized variations. For example: there were no vegetables on the menu, not even a green salad! And on top of all that, the excruciatingly slow service made us run away before we even had our coffee! When the era of celebrity chefs ends and we return to eating with joy and humility, it will be a great celebration for everyone!

The rooms are modern, meticulously designed, and furnished with impeccable taste: you immediately feel a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to help and offer excellent advice. A place that combines comfort, elegance, and hospitality: highly recommended!

10/09/2025: An extraordinary culinary experience! During my stay, I dined every evening at this splendid restaurant, always feeling welcomed and pampered, even though I was alone. The fish, always incredibly fresh, shone in every dish, with the raw fish leaving me speechless. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, for his passion and the unique atmosphere he creates. Kudos also to Stefano, Francesca, Angelo, and Stefhi for their professionalism and warmth. The service was impeccable, precise, and never intrusive. The refined restaurant, with attention to every detail, is perfect for a relaxing evening. Every dinner was a special and memorable experience. 05/08/2025: Everything was well organized, I loved the check in, the only thing that bothered me was always asking for keys... a key for a chemical, a key for an electric column because every time I turned on the stove it would fall and I had to call and wait for a key for dirty water...

24/09/2025: A bad experience. The food was pre-cooked, reheated several times, and then served. As with the risotto in the photo, it practically fell apart. The two glasses of white wine we ordered were of poor quality and had oxidized, as you can see in the photo, undoubtedly due to improper storage. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Improve the quality of your products.

21/09/2025: I reply by saying that I go to the fishmonger's regularly and I know very well how much an octopus costs, after the first tentacle they brought me another 2 tentacles, and it doesn't seem to me that the total of three tentacles is worth 20 euros, so it doesn't seem to me that you work honestly, in fact, moreover the rudeness of the owner is unacceptable, she turned her back on me and walked away... answering me rudely... I think that a customer who requests or complains about something should be satisfied in some way or at least reassured.

06/12/2025: Let's start by saying that when we booked, he told us we could come a few minutes early, but then he made us wait with two empty tables🤦. The caciocavallo pizza didn't have any caciocavallo cheese, you could barely taste it. The carnaleta had the sausage a little gone...

18/11/2025: Great place! I went back after a year and again had excellent, artisan-looking pizzas with great ingredients! Excellent service and a lovely place! We'll definitely be back!

18/11/2025: Passing through San Giovanni Rotondo, we stopped at this very welcoming, well-kept pastry shop and ice cream parlor, with a lovely outdoor patio and indoor dining room, friendly and polite staff. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the time or day of the week (Monday), there wasn't much choice in the pastry shop, but we still chose 2 desserts that satisfied our sweet tooth. Prices were average. We'll return another day, hoping for a much wider selection.

19/09/2025: Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The service was very unfriendly, and the food was poorly presented. The taste was okay. For a Mattinata, it was below average. Better to go somewhere else!

24/07/2025: Onestamente non saprei da cosa partire prima, come scritto nel titolo, si può sicuramente fare meglio, nel servizio, nei tempi di attesa (la sala non era affollata ed i piatti che abbiamo ordinato non particolarmente complicati), nel prezzo. C'è da migliorare.

19/07/2025: Personale gentile e disponibile, da migliorare un po' l'organizzazione, bella l'idea di portare la lavagna col menu come anche il portare una pizza tagliata a pezzettinicon sale ed olio a mo di benvenuto. Ottima la seppia ripiena, la pizza e il caciocavallo alla piastra. Prezzi onesti.

28/02/2026: I'm giving one star, and I'm being overly generous. I ordered two takeout pizzas this evening: Capricciosa and prosciutto crudo, arugula, and parmesan. The dough and toppings left much to be desired... and I'll stop there. Bill: 20 euros Terrible value for money. I definitely won't be returning. Not recommended.

03/02/2026: Family-run and well-located. Outdoor seating. Interesting dishes made with quality ingredients. Local cured meats and cheeses. Tasty first courses and perfectly cooked meats. In short, a restaurant to recommend.

19/01/2026: We visited this restaurant in Rhodes in a group of eight, and the experience was terrible in every way. As soon as we were seated, we weren't given menus, effectively preventing us from knowing the prices of the dishes. We ordered a cooked fish appetizer, but the portions were meager, almost nonexistent. The situation worsened with the first courses: we had ordered four spaghetti with clams and four seafood risottos, but the portions we received were significantly less than we had requested. Furthermore, the quality was truly poor, I would dare say pitiful. The final bill was exorbitant and completely disproportionate to the (little) amount we had eaten. To make matters worse, we were not given a receipt. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Stay away; there are definitely better options in Rhodes.
