16/11/2025: Extremely long waits and small portions.
The place is called an osteria, so you'd expect generous or at least normal portions, but instead they serve small, upscale restaurant-style portions. Some recipes are described as "grandmother-style," but I don't think grandmothers serve such small portions: the ravioli del plin were very small, and the tajarin were smaller than the portion prescribed by my dietitian while I was on a diet.
They weren't in a hurry, but it also doesn't seem normal to wait an hour for an appetizer and three hours for an appetizer and a main course. The dishes are good, but not exceptional, and the price is definitely too high for what you get.

11/11/2025: Meh, expensive and not great, very slow and overwhelmed service, ridiculous food, and Michelin-starred, I wouldn't recommend it.
08/11/2025: The best place so far to eat white truffles, the porcini mushrooms were fantastic, the panna cotta was too light for my taste.

20/09/2025: On a Saturday evening there was no one there and despite this we waited really long for 2 pizzas and a plate of ravioli with meat sauce. The pizzas were good, the ravioli were really too salty, almost inedible. The prices were a bit too high: €14, a plate of ravioli with meat sauce seems a bit excessive to me, and the pizzas were €12.
20/09/2025: I'm sorry, but I'm still giving you 4 stars. But the pizzas I ordered (2 Margheritas) were undercooked, and the yeasty taste was very noticeable, and the tomato was a bit acidic...
I'm sorry... but maybe the oven wasn't up to temperature...
Because the reviews say it's good...
I'm just writing because I feel sorry for you...
But criticism is constructive...

09/11/2025: Family reunion at Ciro's in Cherasco. We were honored with the food. The pizza was perfectly cooked. Baladin IPA beer and coffee. My wife had the fried fish and local white wine (Nascetta). Almost everyone had pizza, wine, or beer. The place was bright and airy, the service good. We'll be back.

27/11/2024: Siamo stati sabato 23 novembre alla cena Astra. Grande buffet di benvenuto molto ben preparato. È stato fatto nell'ingresso a vetro dove si esponeva e si stava benissimo come temperatura. La cena ottima, prodotti di qualità, ben impiattati. Tavole ben preparate. Personale molto gentile. Locali puliti. Non do 5 perché il salone dove si mangiava era freddo. Con queste temperature bisogna tenere caldo, la gente alla fine rischia di non tornare perché si sta veramente male ad avere freddo dove si mangia. Parlando è stato un pensiero di tante persone presenti. Sarebbe un peccato che le persone non tornano per questo motivo perché il resto era tutto ok.
29/06/2024: Location molto curata e ordinata già tra i giardin dove si può anche cenare. Internamente molto elegante con personale sempre attento e gentile. Piatti curati e molto buoni. ti. Bravi ragazzi.
