10/03/2024: Restaurant in the center of the city of Somma Lombardo. The interior is very nice, with exposed bricks and an enchanting environment. Very attentive service and high level cuisine. The owner, Mr. Paolo with his wife, manages everything impeccably: he is always very helpful, kind and professional. Absolutely recommended location. To try!

Delicious, non-trivial wines, described and recommended by the very talented Matteo [excellent Trento Doc, a fragrant and atypical Trebbiano, an intriguing Coda di Pecora (Caprettone?) and a surprising Aleatico Passito] Absolutely must try! 26/03/2024: This review is for the restaurant. We had a great lunch there last week. The view was impeccable. The indoor dinning room was tastefully decorated. Food was very well prepared and presented. Good wine list to choose from. It has its own parking area. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo potuto apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti utilizzati ma purtroppo i piatti ordinati sono risultati solo appariscenti alla vista nel tentativo, peraltro mal riuscito, di solleticare le papille gustative. Servizio ed apparecchiatura dozzinale, conto decisamente esagerato.

28/04/2024: A place of some importance, impeccable service, high quality food and a slightly above average price. But I would make a criticism for the reason of the 4 stars, I took "carpacciata" as a starter (see photo), excellent quality fish but being a bit too abundant as a starter and as a second course the seared tuna which was also excellent but presented like going to a Japanese restaurant I would have preferred a more Italian presentation like I had eaten in Puglia, furthermore I saw other diners taking other appetizers and served them like going to a Sushi in short they bring you small plates with tastings and you find yourself with a table full of dishes, I haven't shared it much because at this point I'm going to eat Sushi in a Japanese restaurant where there is also the same quality and I spend less, to conclude my wife had the octopus on a bed of burrata, the fish always good but the burrata made the dish nauseating or at least that's my opinion, in fact it wasn't appreciated, I'm not talking about the desserts because it's not my habit to consume them in restaurants. It is certainly not a restaurant for my budget to go to regularly but if I return I will have other courses, however I recommend it for a romantic evening and a special occasion.

25/04/2024: Beautiful location, good and well-prepared dishes, professionalism of the dining room staff but all this is not enough to consider this experience a positive one, after the unfortunate event that occurred with the payment of the bill; right from the start the figure seemed disproportionate. Having paid not myself but a relative, after carefully looking at the receipt we realized that the price had been excessive due to errors regarding the place settings priced at €45 instead of €6. Considering the number of diners, the bill was thus excessively inflated (by several hundred euros). The next day we reported the error to the structure. With diligence, apologizing, they took steps to compensate the excess amount, thus remedying the unpleasant misunderstanding. Now: I do not advise anyone to go or not go to the "Villa Baroni restaurant", but I consider this error on the part of professionals who want to be considered as such, a lack of professionalism or complete bad faith (in my opinion both, given the macroscopic error of which they should have immediately noticed). An even more serious fact if we consider that it can put the entire staff in a bad light in the customer's conscience, to be acquitted as they are not involved in the matter. On this last point I would like to make one final observation: it was one of the room attendants who did the counting (she knew well how many of us there were and what we had ordered), not the manager, who was there a few meters away as the scene assistant... I will never go back and… watch your bill!

25/03/2024: I visited this restaurant for dinner, tasting a trio of their first courses which I found to be impeccable. Good choice also for vegetarian customers.

01/05/2024: What to say. We went last night. Me and my wife. Super nice environment, very clean everywhere. Very efficient service, super friendly, helpful and prepared staff. Excellent food and super generous portions. Definitely above average. Highly recommended. Excellent menu. Excellent prices, you can eat well for 15 euros. Beautiful evening. I forgot!! Excellent wine and beer list. We ate a lot and drank well. Then the desserts are a delight.

14/04/2024: Location in the center of Varese with a very elegant atmosphere and attention to detail. There aren't many seats inside so I recommend making a reservation (perhaps during the summer they also have a few tables outside). Our experience was definitely positive overall, with a predominantly land/meat menu (for all courses they still offer a fish alternative), everything lived up to expectations. Generous portions. To make the experience truly 5-star, also considering the medium-high menu prices (at least €60 each including two and a half courses each, water, wine and coffee) the service could be improved (slightly undersized compared to to the number of guests in the room and therefore a little slow) and the presentation of the dishes (we expected it to be a little more "wow" and one of us found the sliced ​​beef not very tender). However, I recommend you try it!

21/04/2024: The freshly baked pizza tastes good. I ordered Sfiziosa and Margherita. I like the taste of Sfiziosa better. There are some minced sausages on the pizza, which is delicious overall. Went there again later and ordered Italia and liked it very much.

01/03/2024: Cracking restaurant, and all the staff are super friendly, and helpful with translating the menu to English! Cannot recommend the steaks enough, and the pizzas are just as good.
