Place that should be completely renovated from the foundations of the kitchen
23/03/2024: Lunch in Pavia in this trattoria. Starter of very basic cured meats one for two, second rolled capon served with a sprig of spinach, paradise cake not very fresh. Price above what is served.
We won't be returning.

31/03/2024: From the outside you might initially think it's just a pick-up pizzeria. You can't spot the tables in the back area straight away. But if you get a place, you feel like you're in the middle of the locals. The service is very nice and friendly, even when it's busy! The food is really tasty, both the spaghetti marinara and the spaghetti vongole that we ate. The tables are quite narrow, but we didn't feel cramped but felt very comfortable and left satisfied and full. In addition, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. A clear recommendation in Pavia!
26/03/2024: Anyone who gives 5 stars doesn't know what pizza is. Terrible pizza, thin, flavorless, burnt. Rather incompetent Italian waiter, despite the fact that the pizzeria has been managed the same way for decades, which is clearly getting worse. Customers still come anyway, even if they eat badly.

07/04/2024: We had dinner on a Saturday evening, it was very busy, but the service was perfect. Everything was delicious. The place is characterized by many old objects hanging on the walls and hanging from the ceiling.
06/04/2024: Typical tavern with a long history behind it, with a myriad of objects once in common use and now curiosities for display scattered and hung throughout the rooms. I haven't explored the entire menu yet but I can say that the starters are excellent, and stand out for their incredible variety, and the first courses are well made, with a personal preference for the risottos, perfect. The menu is also interesting for meats, but I haven't yet had the opportunity (mostly space) to try them. The choice of wines is also good, especially the regional ones. If I have to find a flaw, the dull half-litre bottles of mineral water, the only possible choice, are out of place (even aesthetically!!) on such a table...

30/03/2024: The place is welcoming, the staff friendly, the food is all freshly prepared and of high quality. There's a bit of a wait obviously, but it's worth it. We had a great time and will be back!

For being the first time we had a very good time, I appreciated the quality of the food. The risotto was very good and the appetizers were very tasty.
24/03/2024: Nice location without pretensions, simple menu, good dishes, slightly small portions, at least the Jerusalem artichoke risotto dish. Courteous but not very empathetic dining room staff. Correct prices.

15/02/2024: Conosco il Pozzo da più di dieci anni e mi sono assentata da Pavia per cinque. Ieri sera decido di tornarci dopo tanto tempo e durante la serata mi sono accorta che qualcosa è cambiato.
Il locale in sè è sempre bellissimo con uno stile elegante e la sala interna sembra il salotto di casa... ahh quanto mi mancava :) Il ragazzo al bancone gentilissimo e presente, i cocktail sono molto buoni e originali.
Quello che è venuto a mancare per me è stato il senso di ospitalità, nel senso che un aperitivo a buffet solitamente prevede che ordino un drink e in quel prezzo c'è incluso il fatto che mi possa servire da mangiare al tavolo del cibo.
In realtà non è così, i cocktail arrivano a costare anche 10 euro e il buffet è servito da una ragazza che decide le porzioni di cibo che puoi prendere. Per completare il quadro, non ti dicono che ogni piatto dove ti mettono il cibo ti costa 5 euro, per cui se prendi due drink con aperitivo e vai un paio di volte al buffet ci lasci giù tranquillamente 40 euro.
Per quel prezzo vado al ristorante, non a Pavia a fare aperitivo !
Consiglio di togliere i 5 euro a piatto e di mettere una formula aperitivo 10 euro cocktail + buffet.. ha più senso... siamo a Pavia, non da Cracco!

31/03/2024: We spent Easter in this excellent restaurant. Everything was really good, the staff were very kind (resulting in excellent service), the dishes were well prepared and delicious.
Highly recommended.
31/03/2024: The elegant but welcoming environment is suitable for both a couple's dinner and a family lunch. Attentive to all types of dietary needs (I am a vegetarian), they were able to manage my small ailment in a discreet but punctual manner. Thank you. I definitely recommend to everyone.

25/02/2024: Siamo stati ieri sera con amici, vedendo le recensioni purtroppo negative, eravamo un po' titubanti, invece siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi!
Abbiamo preso un primo, due due secondi e pizze, tutto molto buono!
Anche il personale gentilissimo e la location molto particolare! Ci è piaciuto tutto e diamo una recensione assolutamente positiva! Torneremo!
