10/05/2025: I don't think I've ever given five stars to a restaurant, but Osteria della Madonna deserves them all. Location: rating 10. Refined and elegant environment, with great attention to detail that contributes to creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. Service: rating 20. The young and friendly staff stands out for their helpfulness, professionalism and an ever-present smile: a real added value. Menu: rating 10. Each dish reveals research and flavor. Some dishes are so well presented that it's almost a shame to eat them. Bill: rating 10. Prices and assortment perfectly consistent with the overall high level of the experience. I will definitely return.

25/05/2025: I had been there for dinner quite some time ago, I went this evening with a group of friends and we had dinner at the first table at the entrance, I found a beautiful environment, good food and service up to the prerogatives of the place. I would like to pay a compliment to the mother and daughter who run the place. In the end we also met the chef. I recommend it, go and try the cuisine of this place. We will definitely return.

18/05/2025: Excellent experience here in May 2025. Friendly staff, extensive menu, extensive wine list (the reasonably priced buttafuoco is excellent) They very obviously care about their food, service and the customer experience. Once of the best Italian restaurants I've been to and one of the best restaurants in Italy I've been to. Go and enjoy it!

26/05/2025: Small restaurant in the center of Vigevano. As soon as you enter you are greeted with kindness and courtesy. All the dishes and the wine are excellent.

07/04/2025: Fish restaurant tried for the first time. The dishes tried, fish soup, troccoli with clams and mixed fried food, are excellent. The service was courteous and fast. It is definitely a place to try again to enjoy other dishes

29/05/2025: Excellent restaurant with a typical menu of places where goose reigns supreme but although not extensive with other variations. Selected wines not very wide in choice but still valid. Medium/high price but the quality and the kind and familiar service justify it enough. If we return to Vigevano we will go to them again.

19/05/2025: Restaurant located in the city center, with obviously goose specialty that offers excellent quality dishes. I am not completely satisfied with the price and quantity of the dishes but I recognize that it is obviously subjective

18/05/2025: Very friendly and effective service. Nice antipasti with great prosciutto and salami. Ravioli had very nice pasta but the filling was tasteless, unfortunately. The dessert came with some of the best ice cream I've ever had. A very nice restaurant with very friendly and effective service, though I would change my menu selection next time. I would return.

21/05/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch and I had a great time. Impeccable service, kindness, courtesy, elegance and professionalism of waiters and tables. Food also gluten-free (Schar crackers) and excellent quality of extra virgin olive oil and meat.

16/05/2025: Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. Waiters a bit chaotic….. Advice as a non-smoker to divide the outside area into two areas for smokers and non-smokers…. I had a couple smoking next to me and it wasn’t very pleasant. And let’s hope that one day there will be a ban on smoking in public areas as often happens abroad.

04/05/2025: Varcare la soglia da Ferrari è immergersi in un'atmosfera calda e autentica, dove la cucina locale è celebrata con passione. E si sente! Ogni piatto è un assaggio genuino del territorio, accompagnato da una cantina ricca e un servizio che ti fa sentire a casa. Un'esperienza culinaria che lascia il segno per la sua autenticità e calorosa ospitalità. Assolutamente consigliato!! Prenotate peró perché è gettonato.

29/04/2025: I took my mother to this restaurant in the center where I had already been several times, certain that she would like the family environment: it was a success. Good typical cured meats, excellent duck breast with platters and orange sauce. For the second course, I tried the pigeon in three consistencies (fabulous) and she appreciated the rack of lamb. Delightful hostess.

13/04/2025: I have been to Locanda del Carmine for dinner several times and each time it has been a confirmation of the quality and goodness of the dishes, even the vegan ones. In particular, I would recommend the desserts, which always manage to amaze me!

25/05/2025: Terza volta in taverna, le prime due a pranzo l’ultima di sabato sera. Localino carino in un vicoletto nel pieno centro storico di Pavia. Dicono che cucinano tutto al momento, cosa che giustificherebbe solo in parte i lunghissimi tempi di attesa… (abile tecnica per ingolosire gli ospiti con gli antipasti?). La differenza tra il pranzo e la cena è sensibile. Contrariamente al pranzo, il sabato sera si è davvero avvertita la pressione della fretta o, comunque, l’impazienza del titolare (?) che tutto fa fuorché mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti. A mio avviso l’ansia riesce a trasmetterla anche ai ragazzi che servono i tavoli: sebbene premurosi ed attenti, restano rigidi ed ingessati. Insomma, considerato che la cucina non è affatto male, consiglierei Taverna Santorini più per asporto che per trascorrere qualche momento piacevole a tavola con amici.
