30/12/2024: Typical tavern, with a great atmosphere and excellent traditional dishes. I ate an appetizer of smoked goose breast, delicious, and an unmissable risotto with cream of carrots, almonds and taleggio cheese, all delicious and of high quality. I really appreciated the "pampering" offered such as the opening crouton and especially the spectacular lemon cream at the end. Very rich and varied bread basket. Friendly and efficient staff.

08/01/2025: Siamo entrati poco dopo l’apertura serale ed eravamo il secondo tavolo. L’ambiente semplice ci dava l’impressione di aver sbagliato scelta. Invece, in breve tempo, la sala si è riempita di clienti certi di cosa volessero. Personale gentile, professionale, cibo (pesce) eccellente, servizio veloce e impeccabile, prezzi corretti. Un’esperienza da ripetere! Siamo stati veramente bene!

An obligatory stop is the Ressi restaurant, a family-run restaurant, with an interesting a la carte menu and a good choice of wines. To end the lunch, try their amaro made with 18 medicinal herbs, some I guessed, the others I'm identifying (I bought a bottle).

23/11/2024: Nice restaurant 2 steps from the center (but in the centre). Small room (better to book), well-kept room (kitchen access could be improved), not noisy. Ortimo service: welcoming, polite, familiar and attentive. Traditional Lombard dishes. Goat's cheeses are interesting and intriguing. To return.

In an elegance of times gone by, a local cuisine with ancient flavors is offered, with extremely carefully prepared dishes well described by the dining room staff who enrich them with their popular history. I recommend the gooseneck, if available. Truly a beautiful experience as it is difficult to do nowadays. Extremely interesting wine list available. Bill in line with expectations and with the culinary proposal. Reservation almost mandatory.

23/11/2024: Highly recommended. The room itself is surprising: it is a journey (a beautiful journey!) through time. Menu that respects seasonality, the territory and its history, with attention to the combination of flavors. Cuisine with attention to every aspect, we really appreciated every dish. Accurate service. The only note: there is no choice of wines by the glass (the cellar is excellent, of course, up to par). Adequate price, the experience is worth it.

27/12/2024: I visited "Antica Trattoria Ferrari" in Pavia in October, attracted by the positive reviews I had read. The environment is really welcoming and clean, perfect for both lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and always available, even though the place was crowded. The service was fast and efficient. The menu offers typical local products of the highest quality. Every dish I tried was delicious and well presented. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy local cuisine. Although the price may seem high, it is justified by the excellent quality of the products offered. I recommend booking a few days in advance, especially on weekends, as the place is very popular. Regarding parking, there are several public places in the area, both paid (blue lines) and free, so it won't be difficult to find a place for your car. In summary, "Antica Trattoria Ferrari" is a good choice for a dinner in Pavia. I hope to return soon

26/12/2024: A pleasant dinner. I was looking for a place serving typical Lombard cuisine and we arrived here, reading the reviews. After a visit, we booked to celebrate Christmas Eve. Excellent dishes, accompanied by precise service and a welcoming environment.
