05/06/2025: The room was cleaned, had a separate bathroom. There was also a balcony. You can do self check in meaning you can come whenever you want. We did not notice but if you want on the corridor there are tea, you can use those. There are 2 different set of breakfast. Maybe more breakfast variety or more options. Do go visit the small castle above For the restaurant, quality is good but not quantity.

15/06/2025: It was my first time, hosted by a couple of friends. Absolutely super experience, from the welcome, to the mise en place, to the service and last but not least the food. Very high quality, presented in an equally captivating and elegant way. A special note also for the choice of glasses with a decidedly refined design.

19/06/2025: Amazing food, very friendly and easy-going waitresses, amazing food. Wonderful cheese appetizers and the main course has to be the bigoli all’anatra, an institution. Highly recommended for those in the area.

12/06/2025: Fantastic restaurant with delicious local food in a beautiful countryside style with a large terrace under the trees and a cozy inner decoration. They only work with fresh ingredients illustrated by the menu which is solely available written in chalk on blackboard. You can hardly find a more authentic local restaurant in Italy.

05/06/2025: We stopped for lunch. Welcoming, clean and modern place. Special mention for the bathroom that was really clean. Young, prepared and smiling staff (and it is not obvious). We ate well and spent the right amount in our opinion.

22/06/2025: Traveling to Solferino for training needs of the Italian Red Cross. We found this restaurant by chance and decided to go there. The staff was kind and helpful. Really good dishes. Bread and breadsticks super fragrant and tasty. At the end, a digestive offered by the house. Recommended place.

06/07/2025: The restaurant is inviting: lovely decor, beautiful exterior, and ample parking. The menu is appetizing and the prices are affordable. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed with our experience. We ordered two Aperol Spritzes, which were a real disappointment. In Italy, you expect a minimum of quality for such an iconic aperitif… Here, it felt like we were drinking a simple orangeade. The aperitif probably wasn't homemade… Too bad. The food was mixed. The Polipo alla Griglia was quite good. The tagliolini with salmon and pink pepper were also very good. The two plates of spaghetti alle vongole looked tempting when they arrived: served in a piping hot pan, generous portions… but unfortunately, the flavor wasn't there. There was a lack of garlic and seasoning, and far too much olive oil. The pasta was swimming in it, which smothered all the flavors.

31/05/2025: Located at one of the entrances to Quistello Il Brigantino offers quality and well-filled Neapolitan pizzas, but also excellent fish dishes. This evening we tried fish for the first time and we were thrilled. The portions of pasta are generous and the prices are good. The restaurant is well furnished in a maritime style, in white/blue tones, and you can eat both inside and outside. Recommended for those passing by the lower Mantua area!

28/06/2025: We were in this restaurant, if we can call it that, for an after-work lunch, there were 5 of us. Let's start by saying that we had called to book and get information about the menu because 2 of my colleagues are vegetarians and one of them is lactose intolerant, the owner's response was very calm and reassured us that they would cook something without any problems in their fixed menu. We arrived there at 1.20/30 pm and they made us sit outside with a closed cover with fans that were practically useless except to move hot air, when inside the place was well cooled with air conditioning and there was no one sitting. But let's continue with regards to the food when it came to ordering, there was nothing vegetarian in the fixed menu, we asked for explanations and the owner told us in a very rude and annoyed way that they could only take a first course and a side dish without a second course and he didn't even want to give them the drinks included in the menu. But it doesn't end there, 5 people go to eat together to eat TOGETHER, but here it's not done like that, whoever eats before and after 20 minutes eats someone else because they had to bring out the dishes at different times since there were other tables that had ordered after us and they brought out the dishes at alternating times. Shameful And the gem 21.50 per person for a first course and a side dish Quality of food without a rating Waiters non-existent Basically if it closes it's doing everyone a favor

28/06/2025: Yesterday, we had a very disappointing experience at your restaurant. Firstly, no one came to offer us a drink when we arrived. Then, my main course was served before the starter. When we asked about this, a man who appeared to be one of the owners responded rudely,shouting at other staff, claiming he didn’t understand us (even though we were speaking Italian), and mocking us by laughing and making fun of us. During our meal, he continued to walk by our table, staring and laughing in an arrogant and unprofessional manner. This behavior was unacceptable and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Thank you for ruining our son’s birthday.
