17/05/2026: We were guests of the B&B and were offered this at check-in. We were pleased with the choice; the cuisine was excellent, with carefully prepared dishes, generous portions of first courses, and even excellent pizza. Excellent value for money. A 20% discount for B&B guests is an added bonus.

29/12/2025: An absolutely fantastic restaurant in the heart of Sirmione's old town. You sit on the terrace in a sophisticated atmosphere overlooking the pedestrian zone. The service is very friendly and they speak a little German as well as good English. The Bardolino was served at the perfect drinking temperature and was excellent, as was the Prosecco beforehand. The 'Contemporary Pizza No. 3' (with truffle, bresola, nuts, and burrata) was absolutely superb and one of the best creative pizzas I've ever eaten! The antipasti platter is also impressive. The prices are typical for the area.

09/11/2025: Food was delicious! Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere with all of the wines. I ordered pizza and my husband ordered Spaghettoni with Scampi, King Prawns, Lobster and Tomatoes. For dessert we ordered the chocolate in three different ways and it did not disappoint!

15/05/2026: Absolutely incredible! Delicious food & the best service. My husband didn't know which wine to pick for dessert so the waiter let us try both options! She gave very nice wine recommendations with the dishes. Terrace is also super cute. Must go if you're in Sirmione!

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. 20/05/2026: The food was absolutely delicious, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. The carbonara is especially recommended. The fish was also very tasty.

11/05/2026: Fantastic food quality! Welcoming familiar atmosphere. Takes on food recipes are incredible and the execution is perfect. Highly recommended. This is NOT a tourist trap but a place for conneiseurs.

07/05/2026: A small, charming restaurant in a quiet side street. They offer light meals (sandwiches, toast, paninis, etc.) that are quite filling, as the portions aren't too small. The food is tasty and the waiters are friendly.

02/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant, and I have to say it was an incredible experience. The staff was courteous and helpful. As for lunch, the food was of the highest quality, made with top-quality ingredients. Delicious desserts. This restaurant offers a menu that's different from the usual. I couldn't find anything negative about it; I'd go back 100 times over.

30/04/2026: Very nice hosts and everything was wonderfully clean. Unfortunately, we found the prices a bit too high for what was offered, so the value for money wasn't quite right for us. Otherwise, though, the service was friendly!

10/04/2026: Very very good food. Across three courses there was consistently excellent quality; baccala, polipo, coniglio, maialino, tiramisu. I would dine there again without a second's reservation. My only small disappointment is €23 for a cheese plate is an exaggeration; the 5 cheeses were OK but none were exceptional (not Bagoss or even parmigiano vacche rosse)

05/04/2026: First time in Sirmione, expectations low due to the tourism, but instead we found this restaurant at 10:30 PM. The place is elegant yet simple, and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, above all! The dishes are refined in both their ingredients and flavors. We finished with a reinterpretation of pastiera and a dessert called umami... sensational. The price was in line with the quality, without hesitation.

05/05/2026: Great food. I ordered the Milanese cutlet, it was very good, although it lacked a side dish or sauce. The salmon with avocado was perfect.

04/05/2026: We chose the restaurant without high expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the tagliolino rosso al persico e limoni del Garda and the chitarra mantecata ai crostacei, crema all’aglio e tartare di gamberi as primi, in addition to the involtino di branzino e gamberi e salsa ai crostacei as secondo to share. Everything was very tasty, but the chitarra deserves special mention — truly incredible, very well executed and with a distinctive sauce. In the heart of Sirmione, where touristy options predominate, it was a pleasant surprise to find a quieter place with quality food and without that "tourist trap" feel. We left very satisfied; it was an experience that exceeded our expectations.

17/05/2026: It was recommended to us by local shopkeepers and let's just say that they advised us well👍, there's no need to go on because it was a magnificent experience, it's not just a tourist restaurant there's a lot of work behind it and an idea of ​​hospitality that is rarely found, good ones, we'll be back soon

16/05/2026: We were looking for a restaurant that offered vegan dishes. Since this isn't always clear from the menus, I asked, and a very attentive waiter helped me. However, he couldn't recommend anything himself except pizza with vegetables and no cheese, so he asked a colleague. When I inquired whether there were eggs in the pasta or gnocchi, the newly called-in colleague said no, and so we decided to have lunch. When I then checked the menu again, I discovered that all the pasta dishes contained eggs. So we left the restaurant. Unfortunately, a false promise was made just to attract customers! It's a shame for the nice employee who was genuinely trying to cater to vegans! We won't be returning.
