12/08/2026: We enjoyed our dining experience very much. The food was wonderful. The black truffle pasta I ordered was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend.
11/08/2026: It's 19:20, the restaurant is empty and the manager told us he had no table for us. My guess is because we had two young children with us and didn't want to "spoil" the restaurant image. He told us "No" and turned away. Rude.

The menu is already very appealing, and the ceviche suggestion is delicious!
The setting is lovely, and the service is efficient. I highly recommend it!
31/07/2026: One of the best meals ever. The pasta tasted like they cooked each piece to perfection. The minestrone soup made me cry as it brought me back to my childhood. Never tasted anything like it. The steaks we had tasted better than beef. I imagine if God made unicorns and fed them acorns and massaged them all day, the meat would taste like this.
The dessert (crème catalana) was so good that I am surprised Jesus didn’t resurrect himself already to have it.
Our waitress Valentina was awesome!
Seriously if this is not 5 stars then nothing is. Better than Michelin restaurants we’ve eaten at.

15/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal here - the garden setting with a canopy of lemon trees is beautiful. Wonderful fresh seafood. Outstanding service - especially as I left my house keys there and they dropped them back at our hotel. Thanks so much.
15/06/2026: Recommended for both raw seafood and cooked fish lovers. The ingredients are excellent, the wine list is well-selected, and the atmosphere is relaxed and youthful (like the owners and staff). Prices are commensurate with the offerings (wine is important, but the base price is already quite high). Very good.

03/06/2026: Excellent place, good vibes.. very personal attention and got vegetarian food on request. The couple Eliza and Mattio very cordial.. were pleasantly to have such good food in Santa Margerita much need to make previous booking though.

22/07/2026: Fallen into the hospitable hands of a man and a woman who prepare delicious dishes with great care and precision. The quality of yesteryear. A solid 10. I had specifically asked for gluten-free pasta and they simply had it. Starter: pasta with vongole (gluten-free), followed by minestrone soup (with pesto), then fish of the day in lemon sauce (delicious), and a glass of fruit in rose liqueur for dessert. Traditional dishes. A 10. Will be back soon! P.S. I practiced my first full Italian sentence on this hostess!!
22/07/2026: The price is too high for the food offered, the service is pleasant but the portions are inadequate, and the quality falls short of what one would expect from a restaurant of this type in a typical Italian alleyway. Pasta with pesto cooked on lime at some random campsite is better. The ambiance and service are commendable, but they aren't enough to make up for everything.

26/07/2026: A 50-minute wait for two pizzas. If they'd informed us of the wait in advance, we would have ordered an appetizer or perhaps opted for a first and second course.
11/07/2026: My opinion finds this to be a family-&-associates establishment committed to providing quality food and beverage on a consistent basis with care and respect for the customer and the house. While visiting "Santa" (Margherita, Ligure) my wife and I eat dinner here often and saw other customers on multiple nights as well. We have vacationed 3 times to Santa, and "...dal Baffo" is reliable. The menu is varied offering more choices than the rest of the community. The prices are consistent with the level of food quality and the respectful service we enjoyed. I found them to be very likable. Read menu online in advance to predict your level of satisfaction.

22/05/2026: Even though we'd booked inside, they immediately seated us right next to the door, which had been left wide open throughout the dinner. And it was the May 1st long weekend, with low temperatures. They wouldn't let us move despite several free tables. As soon as you sit down, they immediately ask you for a drink. After three minutes, you have to order. The food was very good. The service needs to be cancelled and reconsidered. The price was in line with neighboring restaurants. Not much relaxation on an assembly line. Go elsewhere and you'll find better options for a better experience.
20/05/2026: Really just fantastic. In Santa margharita for 3 nights and ate here twice. Pesto, gnocchi and ragu were exceptional. As was the team! Grazie!

31/03/2026: I recently discovered this bakery and I'm truly in love with their flavors, because they're the same ones from the past, the ones that have become hard to find. The dinner rolls have a delicious aroma; most of the ones you buy these days taste like nothing.
The focaccia is fragrant, tasty, and well-seasoned.
The bread is excellent.
A special thanks to the staff, who are very approachable, kind, friendly, and smiling. Competitive prices!

07/07/2026: We told the waiter that the child wanted pasta, pasta with tomato sauce, and he asked, "Pasta with tomato sauce?" and repeated it three times before finally understanding. Then the calamari arrived, but there was no sauce with it. We asked the waiter for sauce, and he brought mayonnaise. The portions were extremely small, very tiny, and the price was very expensive. We didn't like it at all; it was terrible.

15/07/2026: This restaurant is located in the San Siro area and offers Sardinian specialties in addition to Ligurian specialties.
We had a seafood appetizer for two: fregole with clams and bottarga (delicious).
The price was in line with the location and the products.
21/06/2026: A truly excellent lunch at Ristorante La Madia. We were looking for an authentic seafood restaurant, with fresh ingredients and fair prices, and we found so much more.
The appetizers were a pleasant surprise: the fried anchovies were excellent, light and crispy, and the shrimp marinated with Tropea onions were spectacular, a balanced combination that showcases the quality of the ingredients. For my first course, I chose the seafood gnocchi, and they were the dish of the evening: soft, flavorful, and full of fresh seafood.
A great strength is the attentiveness of the staff, always present, kind, and helpful without being intrusive. I also really appreciated the wide selection of gluten-free options, a sign of their special attention to customer needs. The quality-price ratio was among the best I've found during my vacation in the Cinque Terre.
I recommend it to anyone looking for quality seafood cuisine in a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.
