18/03/2025: The Du Coq restaurant was a real surprise. The venue is perfect for a special evening or a relaxing dinner, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The staff is trained, passionate and always ready to advise and satisfy every need. But the real strong point is undoubtedly the food. The oysters were the best I have ever tasted, very fresh and of excellent quality. The crudité, then, was an explosion of flavors, with very fresh fish and perfect combinations. For dessert I had the Tarte Tatin, the best ever!!! I highly recommend Du Coq to anyone who wants to enjoy a high-level gastronomic experience, full of taste and freshness.

Chefs Margherita and Nik are two highly skilled professionals who create dishes that are true works of art. 03/05/2025: After 3 days stay in Portofino, eating only fish and fish-pasta, this place was like heaven to us! Tbone excellent cooked, exactly as asked, nice side plates, variety of wines, tortellini ragu with rasberry and coffee foam was an experience(the portion small). Staff very very kind and professional.

18/04/2025: Very nice discovery! We were welcomed very kindly. The service and quality of the meals are indisputable. Not knowing which dish to choose, the waiter was very friendly and offered to make me a mix of two dishes. We chose grilled fish with some shrimp and spinach ravioli. Everything is very good, although the portions could have been more generous for better value for money. On the other hand, the wine is very well served! Two entries were also offered to us, which allowed us to discover a specialty of the city of Genoa. For desserts, we were presented with the pie of the day: a crumble-style apple pie; that we chose to taste.. Excellent!! I will go back without hesitation!

08/02/2025: El ristorante más fantástico justo en el Oporto con un chef estupendo... el mejor y más fresco marisco a la ligera... el estilo Branzino al forno Genovese es maravilloso... todo el pescado se sirve en su mesa... gran servicio estupendo! 21/04/2025: Very tasty, filling portions. Nice service, nice local atmosphere. There were only locals in the restaurant. It's out of the way, but on the way to the stadium parking lot. Prices are very good for such quality. I recommend

17/04/2025: Kind and friendly staff, sublime food (absolutely try the catch of the day), very fresh fish, cooked in a delicate, tasty and light way. Abundant dishes and excellent bread to make the slipper. Absolutely fair price for the quality offered. We will be back!

26/04/2025: Booked at the last minute for dinner on April 25th, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is located slightly away from the city center and there is a fair amount of parking. As soon as we arrived we were seated. Orders were taken immediately and the dishes, excellent and in generous portions, arrived on time. Courteous and helpful service. Convenient prices both for the context and for the quality of the dishes.

21/09/2024: Pranzato e cenato diverse volte. L interno è carino ma un po'piccolo mentre i tavoli all'esterno godono della bella vista del porto. La cucina convince sempre con piatti semplici e pesce freschissimo. Consigliato

11/10/2024: The view of the sea is good but it's a work in progress, not ecstasy either, you order 2 beers (30cl).. the guy arrives with antipastis which he gives you plain, we had eaten... fortunately we refuse because the 2 beers = 14 eur, that said for us we don't care, there were two of us and in love 😁🌻

24/04/2025: Ci siamo capitati per caso, cercavamo altri ristoranti ma, siccome era pranzo, erano chiusi. È stata una scoperta davvero molto piacevole: spaghetti al cartoccio squisito, grigliata di mare buonissima e tiramisù da far girare la testa. È il classico posto in cui non andresti mai su “carta” ma quando ci capiti ti ricredi. Salvo il nome e tornerò SICURAMENTE nelle prossime visite a Santa Margherita!!!
