25/09/2025: What an amazing place! The views are gorgeous, and the service was excellent and attentive. And the food... I think I've had some of the best pasta dishes of my life! The ravioli with shrimp, cheese, etc., was simply incredible! We also tried the fettuccine with Genovese sauce, octopus, and ricotta, which was also very good. A perfect 10/10 experience and a perfect 11/10 food!

10/07/2026: A small (not so small) enchanted nest in paradise. Ask for a sea-view room on the first floor and you'll be amazed. The rooms are just the right size and beautifully and tastefully furnished. They're spotlessly clean and, above all, have a WONDERFUL view, taking in all of Palmarola and the stretch of sea separating Ponza from it, and the afternoon sun reflecting off the sea and diving into it at sunset. Words aren't enough; you have to see it.
24/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Ortensia. It’s located right near a shuttle stop which made accessibility a breeze. The view looking out over Palmarola is to die for. It’s got a small market and restauarant right near by for easy eats, in addition to the restaurant within the hotel (that we unfortunately never tried). Lucia and Giovanna were wonderful and helpful at the front desk. Rooms were made up nicely ever day. Get a sea view—it’s worth it.
ps you’re in Europe. Judge the hotel based on European standards.

05/07/2026: We had dinner this evening with my daughters, the owner was very nice, the staff were really friendly and the food was excellent.
30/06/2026: This pizzeria is close to the center of Ponza, easy to get to. The place is a bit small, but cozy. The pizza is Neapolitan-style, light, and well-cooked. Overall, we enjoyed our stay; it's a good choice for pizza on the island.

Fresh fish, cooked with great care and in full respect of island tradition: every dish had the authentic flavor of the sea and the island. Typical Ponza cuisine is truly showcased here, with quality ingredients and generous portions.
A huge compliment to the owner, always welcoming and attentive, making every guest feel at home. And kudos also to the chef, who transforms excellent ingredients into truly memorable dishes.
Splendid atmosphere, impeccable service, and the highest quality. Absolutely recommended for anyone wanting a true island cuisine experience!
03/05/2026: A truly perfect dinner.
We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our host, and our expectations were not disappointed.
Everything was truly exquisite, from the appetizers to the liqueur. The fish was the real highlight: fresh, local, expertly cooked, and with surprising pairings. We spent the right amount and left the table satisfied and happy with the pleasure we had enjoyed. An evening made unique by truly excellent cuisine!

The food isn't up to par, the service is average (low), and the view is the only real selling point.
There are much better options on the island for the same budget.

24/07/2026: The restaurant is well located and offers a pleasant setting. However, the service is lacking, and the food is nothing special. The pasta with tuna ragu was made with canned tuna…
The menu wasn't up to date, we had to wait over fifteen minutes and even ask to order wine ourselves, even though the restaurant was practically empty.
22/07/2026: Simple seafood cuisine, rustic but well-prepared. You can arrive directly by dinghy or rented boat. Book well in advance to secure the best spots. Without a reservation, you can leave your name on the list, they'll call you, and only then can you approach by boat or from Cala Feola beach!

04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.
01/09/2025: When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino!
Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

19/07/2025: Sempre una conferma! Ogni volta che veniamo a Ponza non possiamo non cenare da Anna, cucina davvero ottima, pesce eccezionale! Gentilezza e cortesia dello Staff, complimenti alla cucina! In foto spaghetti con tonno alalunga e olive e grigliata mista di pesce!

25/08/2024: Ristorante già frequentato anni fa, location bellissima per un panorama unico. Per ciò che riguarda il menù, questo anno, c’era poca scelta tra primi e secondi. Ho scelto le linguine scampi e zafferano, niente di che.
Anni fa ho gustato piatti spettacolari, questo anno sono rimasta delusa.
Personale cortese, servizio attento al cliente.

02/05/2025: Sono stato il giovedì dopo Pasqua, dopo ampia camminata serale da Ponza (più consigliabile in auto), forse mi aspettavo troppo, ma mediamente il tutto è stato appena sufficiente. Per primo una con pesto particolare BUONA (voto 7), secondo grigliata di pesce ( senza alcun pesce, solo scampi, calamaro e 2 gamberoni, 35 euro🤬, voto 5). Sottolineo che l'assenza del pesce avrebbe dovuto essere prospettata in anticipo quando abbiamo ordinato!). Poi caponata, sembrava bollita, voto 5). Eravamo gli unici clienti, siamo rimasti delusi, loro hanno offerto del limoncello (buono 7). Mezzo litro di vino bianco (buono, voto 7). Conto (scontato) 65 euro. Il cibo complessivamente eludente.

30/05/2025: Ho cenato tre sere in questo ristorante , dal quale si ha una fantastica vista sul porto . Sono vegetariana, il ristorante e’ noto per gli ottimi piatti di pesce, ma vi sono anche ottimi piatti per vegetariani. La zuppa di lenticchie è ottima. Le verdure sono anche molto buone (ogni giorno contorni diversi ) ed è possibile ordinare anche delle ottime paste con le verdure. Il personale è molto gentile ed accogliente. Tutte le mie tre sere di permanenza a Ponza sono tornata cenare in questo ristorante perché oltre la qualità del cibo, mi sono sentita accolta in modo speciale. Lo consiglio

Siamo arrivati io e la mia compagna, serviti ed accolti subito dal cameriere. Tutto ok.
Ordiniamo 1 frittura di calamari e alici buona e asciutta servita con salsine.
Abbiamo optato per un calice di prosecco servito caldo .
le cantine presenti nella carta dei vini sul mercato hanno volte di vendita 25/27€ vendute a partire da 35€.
Arrivano i primi piatti FREDDI!!!
Tagliolini al tartufo e gambero rosso praticamente congelati €26,00
Gnocchetti home mate serviti in pappa al pomodoro freddi con polpo grigliata messo a caso senza sapore… € 20.00

07/08/2023: Esperienza culinaria spiacevolissima, abbiamo ordinato degli gnocchi all'arrabbiata terribili e un piatto di tagliolini al tartufo e gambero rosso arrivo FREDDO, ergo ASSURDO considerato il prezzo del piatto, ovvero la bellezza di €26,00 per una pietanza servita FREDDA. non hanno avuto neanche la decenza di fare mea culpa.
Per il resto locale simpatico, prezzi eccessivi, anche dei drink (€20,00) seppur di qualità.
hanno da rivedere diverse cose!
Non ci ritornerò!
