29/06/2025: The waiters are very rude and totally focused on money

29/06/2025: We decided to dine in at this restaurant with our family of 4. The service was mediocre, same with the food quality. What really brought down the rating here was the following. We ordered a Caesar salad for my daughter and the entire top layer was VERY heavily covered with dressing. Even after tossing the salad to mix, the greens were drenched with dressing, very unpleasant to eat. We asked the waiter to take it back and bring something else as this was not edible. He took it back, brought another plate and still charged for the salad that was returned back to the kitchen. I asked for the check to be updated (less the salad) and their response was it was impossible to do because the owner was not there. For that reason, the service is considered poor and deserving of a lower rating.

10/06/2025: Disappointing experience. We sat for an hour without anyone bothering to bring us even a bottle of water, despite asking several times. The restaurant was not crowded, so it is difficult to justify such a wait. The staff seemed disorganized and not very attentive to the needs of the customers. In particular, a figure who seemed to have a coordinating role (perhaps the head waiter) was often around but without making a real contribution to the service. In the end we left without eating or drinking. It's a shame, because the location is really beautiful and deserves more professional management.

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

18/04/2025: Ma davvero c'è ancora gente che nel 2025 va a fare colazione o addirittura a pranzare in questo bar angusto??? lo ci sono capitato ieri, per caso portato da un amico. Abbiamo mangiato all'esterno sul marciapiede odinando delle pizze bianche farcite e un club sandwich. Benvenuti alla saga dell'orrore: l'ordine e le pietanze ci sono state servite da una signora dell'est con una scarsa professionalità da fare paura. Sembrava gli rodesse il sedere! Ma è stato solo l'inizio. Con l'aperitivo ci sono state portate patatine mosce e vecchie di chissà quando, olive secche e un paio addirittura con la muffa, pistacchi molli anche loro vecchi. Poi il club sandwich immangiabile con fesa di tacchino color viola (ovviamente lasciato nel piatto) e delle pizze farcite una addirittura con del salmone acido. L'altra ugualmente immangiabile. Praticamente l'unica cosa degna è stata la coca cola. Per finire il caffè disgustoso…..

21/05/2025: Let's start off easy: a well-located place. If you're not a pasta expert, you won't notice anything unusual, except if it arrives cold. Now let's go point by point: - The food isn't made on-site; it comes from another restaurant a couple of blocks away, called Antigua Roma. - It's not a good-quality meal; it could have been worse, but for Rome, the pasta is very poorly cooked. - The prices are good for the location, but there are better places for pasta nearby.

23/05/2025: A disastrous restaurant, to put it mildly. No matter what pizza you order, it's always a margherita with raw ingredients on top, and it's either raw or burnt. Unfriendly staff charging €1.50 per cover when it's completely illegal. €7 for a glass of beer. Unfortunately, it's conveniently located just a few meters from the Coliseum and they take advantage of tired and hungry tourists. They'd be better off making durums and not ruining their vacation by pretending to be Italian chefs.

19/05/2025: El personal era malo, la comida estaba bien. El personal (el gerente, creo) fue grosero y puso los ojos en blanco todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí sin razón aparente. Pedí una ensalada con lechuga muy fresca y tamaño de porción. La pizza estaba bien. Vista y proximidad al Coliseo una ventaja definitiva.

13/06/2025: Don’t waste your money. This was not a good place to eat. They charged us $6 for use of the table and then after bad service asked for a tip. When my husband refused they called him stupid. Don’t go here.

17/06/2025: Estafadores, no vayáis, nos perdimos una especie de bocata y dos Cocacola y como una croqueta 41€, nos metieron 9 de servicio por traernos un bocata, la bebida las cogí de la nevera q ponía 2.5€ y nos cobraron 5€ por cada una, deberían cerrar el local son unos estafadores, eso es ilegal cuando no había ningún cartel que te cobran por el servicio y ningún precio por ningún lado estafadores no vayáis, ojalá os cierren en local.

17/09/2024: Prices completely out of the norm: coffee at the table €2.40 and half liter bottle of water €2 Apparently unpretentious bar, normal but with completely unjustified downtown restaurant prices. We will not return and do not recommend.

07/04/2025: Ho fatto un aperitivo sulla Terrazza nella sede di viale Adriatico. Un incubo. Musica alta fastidiosissima, camerieri inadeguati e prezzi folli, rispetto a una qualità davvero mediocre sia dei prodotti sia del servizio. PRIMA E ULTIMA VOLTA.

10/03/2025: PESSIMO. Avevamo chiesto tempo prima delle pizzette e dei rustici per una laurea, e ci avevamo accertato che li avrebbero fatti e pronti per la mattina della laurea ovvero oggi. Oggi siamo andati e indovinate? Non c’era niente, hanno parlato di un guasto tecnico e che li avrebbero potuti fare solo dopo una mezz’ora, sempre se fosse vero… ovviamente c’è poco da dire non andate mai la, prezzi altissimi e qualità che puoi trovare in molti altri posti a basso prezzo. Personale purtroppo pessimo.

16/05/2025: Definitivamente el peor café que he tomado en Italia hasta ahora. Diluya los insultos a los dioses del café. Cero vergüenza. Más cucharas de plástico. A evitar.
