06/03/2025: Un endroit super beau à voir, des plats excellents. Un serveur très gentil nous avons été servies par Martin, serveur très sympathique et avec de bons conseils, belle expérience ✨

11/05/2025: Siamo andati con grandi aspettative. Il posto è ottimo, su via andrea Doria ma sopraelevato rispetto alla strada. Ci siamo seduti alle 19,50 e abbiamo ordinato quasi subito. La pizza è arrivata alle 21,10. Fredda e mal cotta. 50 minuti dopo aver ordinato mi dicono che la burrata è finita e se non mi dispiace la sostituiscono con mozzarella di bufala, dico che non c'è problema. È arrivata la pizza con sopra delle ciliegine tagliate a metà che non erano affatto di bufala....insomma una vera bufala....mai più.

11/05/2025: Tutto buonissimo, qualità ottima, però non si può aspettare più di un'ora fra antipasti e pizze, mentre i cartoni del delivero uscivano a ripetizione. Senza contare le dimenticanze sulle comande (mancava una pizza, acqua che non arriva). Peccato.

13/09/2025: Casual family dinner. Good food but not very professional. Wine without basket. 45 minute wait between the first and second courses. Also, a nice snapper was shown and not cleaned in front of us, so we started to doubt whether it was ours.

13/09/2025: We had dinner on September 13, 2025, at Il Grottino al Porto. In a plate of spaghetti with clams, I found a piece of metal wire, likely from a steel sponge. This is a serious hygiene issue and a health risk. When we reported the incident, the first waiter simply laughed. Another waiter, when we asked for an explanation, simply shrugged his shoulders, without apologizing or offering a solution. This kind of behavior is absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. With such high prices, one expects professionalism and safety in the dishes. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience: not recommended.

02/10/2025: Excessively expensive. For two people, our meal included two cokes, bruschetta, cannelloni, a green salad (charged €10), a panna cotta, and a tiramisu, plus a coffee (charged €5.50). We left with a bill of €86... We were constantly disturbed during our meal by street vendors selling roses, scarves, and other items under the noses of the employees who said nothing... We waited a long time for service.

28/09/2025: Very mean man who served us with aggressive , un respectful and un appropriate behavior. Food was also not fresh and table clothes dirty. If you want to have a very bad memories about Rome - worth to visit.

08/10/2025: We sat down because there was a free spot. Then we saw the reviews and were a little scared, but they must have learned their lesson 😊 The service was great, the pizza was delicious. The people next to us got a panini and it looked really good too, but after the pizza, we couldn't have eaten any more 😅 Nice place with a view of the Colosseum.

23/08/2025: Nice restaurant near the Colosseum, friendly staff. The pizzas were good, the ambiance and price were OK – overall, highly recommended.

27/08/2025: Aesthetically pleasing venue, improvised service, inaccurate menu, all the cocktail names are reversed, you order with the menu names, and the staff is irritated when correcting you. A truly disappointing aspect was the outrageously priced cocktails, €10 a cocktail, even the classic ones. The quality leaves much to be desired, the cocktails are undrinkable, the proportions are incorrect, and the drinks are flat. It was a disappointing experience, not to be repeated.

23/08/2025: Terrible place. They force you to pay a fixed price and then don't offer chips or olives when you order a spritz. Incompetent and unethical. We won't be back.

03/08/2025: Too expensive for what it is. Tiny terrace, bland atmosphere. And the staff is cold and unfriendly to tourists, even when paying... Clearly not a place I recommend.

23/07/2025: Absolutely lovely cafe and the staff were really friendly. We went twice for breakfast during our holiday, the portions came quickly and were generous. Highly recommend them!

29/06/2025: Un posto per i turisti come mezza italiana sono stata molto delusa. Il tiramisù con panna invece di mascarpone. Il caprese la mozzarella quelli più duri per la pizza, insalata Cesare il pollo durissimo. La pasta poca pasta. Mai più!

08/09/2025: The food was delicious, and despite being in the square, the prices weren't too steep. They were incredibly kind and helpful. I can't understand why it got such a low rating. We couldn't take a decent photo, but I've included it.

18/08/2025: Not as good as other restaurants we tried nearby. Service at the restaurant was not great.

24/08/2025: The chef comes to the table to explain what's on the menu, and this alone speaks volumes about the quality of the products offered. All the dishes exceeded expectations, everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. This will definitely be a regular stop for years to come.

17/08/2025: Excellent. A rediscovery with the old management (ownership) returning. Wonderfully cooked fish and country grass pea soup with Ventotene cuttlefish. We were only there for two nights (unfortunately we left), but it's one more reason to return to the island. Special mention to Daniele, who was very kind and helpful and even took care of my back by providing a special pillow... See you soon.

16/07/2025: Siamo stati appositamente da Grue ieri mattina x poter fare una buona colazione. Abbiamo scelto fra le tante varietà due cornetti alla crema buonissimi che difficilmente si trovano e due caffè altrettanto buoni. Ci andiamo molto spesso non solo x la colazione ma anche a pranzo, sempre tutto soddisfacente per non parlare poi delle varietà dei mignon, delle torte e del buonissimo gelato artigianale. Rimaniamo sempre molto soddisfatti e sempre ben accolti dalla carinissima cassiera. I prezzi non sono assolutamente esosi considerando soprattutto la qualità dei prodotti

11/07/2025: Sono tornato dopo un po' di tempo,avevo voglia di una buona colazione...I prodotti di pasticceria sono sopra la media buoni ...il servizio abbastanza buono ...E la signora in cassa che rovina tutto ...non ti guarda neanche in viso,non fa un sorriso nemmeno sotto minaccia...pessima..
