23/11/2025: Romans don't seem to be embarrassed about having a store like this. I ordered pizza and ravioli, and while I understood that it was a reheated frozen pizza, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the oily layer separating from the ravioli sauce. The sauce was cold. They just brought me a retro, roughly mixed it, and threw it away. I didn't have time to argue, so I just ate and tried to pay, but they arbitrarily added a 2 euro coperto (seat charge). If it was a service charge, I didn't want to pay, and if it was a coperto, it's illegal in Rome. I argued, but it didn't make sense, and I was too lazy to bother, so I just paid and left. If you're in Rome and can't always go to fancy restaurants, and want a fresh experience, I recommend this place. Maybe Romans aren't shy about having a store like this. If it was a service charge, I didn't want to give it to them at all, and if it was copeto, it would be illegal in Rome. I thought it didn't work, and I just paid for it because it was annoying. If you can't always go to a good store in Rome, or if you want to have a fresh experience, I recommend this store. - I Romani non si vergognano di avere un negozio come questo. Ordinarono pizza e ravioli, provai a capire la pizza congelata calda, ma vidi che lo strato di olio era separato dal sugo dei ravioli, e pensai ai miei occhi. La salsa era fredda. Mi sono preso un retro e l'ho rigirata dentro. Non avevo tempo per discutere, quindi ho deciso di mangiarlo, di pagarlo, e mi hanno fatto pagare due euro al massimo. Se lo avessero avuto, non l'avrei dato se fossero serviti, e se fossero stati presi, sarebbe stato illegale a Roma. L'avevo fatto. Non capivo. Ero troppo permaloso, così sono uscito a pagare. Per coloro che sono già a Roma ma non sempre vanno in buoni negozi, e per coloro che vogliono avere un'esperienza nuova, raccomando questo negozio.

28/12/2025: The Ristorante Pizzeria Al Piacere in Rome only operates on transactional service rather than customer service. Our waiter only recognized us as soon as we put down Euros rather than give us the eye contact and recognition as paying patrons visiting their poorly rated restaurant. If this so called professional worker was tired or needed a break, he could’ve communicated to another waiter that he needed to continue our service. We asked for our check over four times-in a nearly empty restaurant only to have the same waiter sit down behind us and eat , and obliviously forget he was in charge of our section. He immediately sprung into action as soon as we put Euros down on the table for the other waiter that eventually provided us a check. This poor customer service tarnishes the reputation of any reputable or mediocre restaurant. Worse, yet the blatant inconsiderate unprofessionalism of this waiter, who is voluntarily working at this restaurant made a terrible and profound negative impact on our meal and the fine company we were enjoying together. Despite having terrible reviews, we still went to the restaurant and gave it an opportunity to demonstrate otherwise. In the future, when I see a restaurant with a barely 2 star rating, I will take into consideration the experience of others’ opinions although I prefer to form my own opinions based on my personal experience. This is the first bad review I’ve ever written and of all places on vacation abroad. Management needs to train or retrain their staff on how to treat people with respect and dignity and if that is too difficult for them, management is solely responsible for not properly navigating the responsibilities of those working there. It is apparent that Euros rather than professional is what motivates the staff members at this restaurant but to be fair this waiter obviously has no regard for his colleagues and made everyone including the restaurant look bad.

26/12/2025: Horrible place—don’t go. The food was bland and too expensive for a frozen meal. The staff was horrible. We had to ask for the check multiple times while people walked by and didn’t acknowledge us and had to wait 15 mins for it. Our waiter was rude and didn’t acknowledge us at all but then continued to ask us for tip on top of an already expensive bill.

08/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! 2 pizzas and 2 spritzes for €15 + €8 service charge €64 total.

07/11/2025: 25 euro service charge! 14 euro cutlery charge! Additional charges for unordered dishes.

18/07/2025: Provato per il nome Bocciato di fatto. Macedonia insapore, cortesia solo con gli habitué, prezzi da ristorante per servizio tipo fast food... Cancellato !

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

01/05/2025: Excelente servicio, la comida era increíble. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. Pasteles y helados eran increíbles si estás en Roma, sin duda deberías visitar este restaurante de Gelateria
