11/01/2026: Nemi 10/01/2026 The worst restaurant experience I've had so far! My partner and I, seeing the panoramic room with a lake view, decided to stay for lunch at 1:30 PM after reserving a table. Unfortunately, we began to see a couple of pseudo-waiters without uniforms, lacking a minimum of courtesy, bordering on arrogance, serving other tables that had arrived after us. When we complained, we were gestured from afar to stay relaxed because today was Sunday, so there were no rules. 🤔 After more than an hour, the first courses arrived... given the delay, we canceled our order for the second course, but the chef came from the kitchen, threateningly demanding that we accept the second course because it was already being cooked. At that point, we asked to take back the leftovers of the first courses because we were no longer hungry and also because my partner's carbonara was very salty. You won't believe it, but at this point, one of the pseudo-waiters takes the carbonara plate and, using my partner's fork, stuffs himself with a mouthful, drooling, and declares it's delicious! I would have reacted differently, but I paid the bill and we left, hoping to meet some traffic policeman to report the experience, but unfortunately, they were probably on their lunch break too. Anyway, it's a nightmare! These people should be wasting away somewhere else...not in restaurants!

06/02/2026: Food was okay but nothing special. We didn't get a receipt but we were clearly overcharged at €105 - for two mains, one beer, two wines and one mediocre pastry. Just don't waste your money going here.

06/02/2026: The food was good, the service was friendly, but unfortunately the toilets were a disaster.

28/12/2025: The Ristorante Pizzeria Al Piacere in Rome only operates on transactional service rather than customer service. Our waiter only recognized us as soon as we put down Euros rather than give us the eye contact and recognition as paying patrons visiting their poorly rated restaurant. If this so called professional worker was tired or needed a break, he could’ve communicated to another waiter that he needed to continue our service. We asked for our check over four times-in a nearly empty restaurant only to have the same waiter sit down behind us and eat , and obliviously forget he was in charge of our section. He immediately sprung into action as soon as we put Euros down on the table for the other waiter that eventually provided us a check. This poor customer service tarnishes the reputation of any reputable or mediocre restaurant. Worse, yet the blatant inconsiderate unprofessionalism of this waiter, who is voluntarily working at this restaurant made a terrible and profound negative impact on our meal and the fine company we were enjoying together. Despite having terrible reviews, we still went to the restaurant and gave it an opportunity to demonstrate otherwise. In the future, when I see a restaurant with a barely 2 star rating, I will take into consideration the experience of others’ opinions although I prefer to form my own opinions based on my personal experience. This is the first bad review I’ve ever written and of all places on vacation abroad. Management needs to train or retrain their staff on how to treat people with respect and dignity and if that is too difficult for them, management is solely responsible for not properly navigating the responsibilities of those working there. It is apparent that Euros rather than professional is what motivates the staff members at this restaurant but to be fair this waiter obviously has no regard for his colleagues and made everyone including the restaurant look bad.

26/12/2025: Horrible place—don’t go. The food was bland and too expensive for a frozen meal. The staff was horrible. We had to ask for the check multiple times while people walked by and didn’t acknowledge us and had to wait 15 mins for it. Our waiter was rude and didn’t acknowledge us at all but then continued to ask us for tip on top of an already expensive bill.

01/02/2026: A truly beautiful place, an oasis in the heart of Rome. Here you'll find excellent service, and if it's cold, like any good Mexican, you'll find a great tequila. A place that preserves much of what could be a glimpse into the past. Beautiful, beautiful! Excellent service!

21/02/2026: This place sucks. They add random and hidden fees, they have charged me more than 10€ for service and cutlery when i literally ate with my hands because it was a burger and I didn’t use the glass because it smelt like rotten eggs. Also, I ordered a classic burger, and my friend a bbq one. Her came with potatoes in the side and mine not, which I thought it was logical because mine was cheaper. An hour later, a waitress comes with my potatoes asking if I still wanted them. I agreed because I thought it was included in my burger, but when the bill came it was priced aside and I didn’t order them. I don’t recommend this place at all.

21/02/2026: IT'S A BIG SCAM, THEY CHARGE YOU 23 EUROS FOR SERVICE JUST FOR ORDERING THREE PIZZAS AND TWO HAMBURGERS. On top of that, we ordered focaccia and they brought us pizza. We didn't use cutlery and they made us pay the bill, and the service was terrible. I'm giving one star because it doesn't allow me to give zero.

18/07/2025: Provato per il nome Bocciato di fatto. Macedonia insapore, cortesia solo con gli habitué, prezzi da ristorante per servizio tipo fast food... Cancellato !

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

01/05/2025: Excelente servicio, la comida era increíble. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. Pasteles y helados eran increíbles si estás en Roma, sin duda deberías visitar este restaurante de Gelateria
