03/02/2025: Abbiamo scelto per cena il menu "Evoluzione", un percorso di 5 portate con i primi della tradizione ed abbinamento dei vini. Bistrot 64 è nel quartiere Flaminio, in via Calderini, zona con poco passaggio, soprattutto residenziale e la sera è difficile trovare posteggio ma anche individuarlo .Per quesro consiglierei di mettere una retroilluminazione a led sull'insegna a parete. Purtroppo non era presente il proprietario, il sig Emanuele Cozzo e quindi la conduzione del locale secondo me è stata penalizzata. Due camerieri freddi nell'accoglienza e nel presentare sia i piatti che i vini. A maggior ragione a chi sceglie una degustazione non bisogna elencare in modo asettico la bottiglia . In questo locale ci si aspetta una spiegazione se non accurata almeno fatta con passione. Due parole sulla cantina , chi la conduce, la tradizione e la terra del luogo, i sentori che puoi assaporare . Identica cosa per i piatti: lo chef Kotaro Noda ai fornelli non c'è più. La stella Michelin purtoppo non c'è più .Al suo posto Giacomo Zezza, per anni sous chef di Noda a cui consiglio di fare un salto in sala per chiedere opinioni sulle sue (belle)creazioni. D'altronde potrebbe permetterselo tranquillamente, i circa trenta posti non sono tanti e qualche minuto da dedicare alla sala non è impossibile. Riguardo il baccalà con brodo consiglierei di eliminarlo o non farlo servire dopo una carbonara : è come fare assaggiare un bicchiere di acqua dopo un amarone. Il locale è arredato minimale ma con gusto e le sedie sono comodissime. I- tavoli bene distanziati ed è possibile scambiare tranquillamente due parole senza il brusio assordante di altri locali. Sul tavolo avrei preferito una bella tovaglia di lino, ma questa è una scelta che putroppo va scomparendo. Il bagno è unico ma pulito. Mi aspettavo di meglio, ma nel complesso la cena è stata soddisfacente. La quarta stelletta non ve la siete meritata perchè con le due portate di dolci accompagnati con l'ottimo moscato mi avete lasciato il bicchiere vuoto. Lo avete visto con l'ultimo piatto ma non avete provveduto. Sono piccole mancanze ma se volete migliorare basta poco a rimediare.

20/02/2025: Just a better class of meal. The food is great, and you sense they want to make it good. We asked what wine to have with the meal.and the waiter brought 3 reasonably.proced options and explained them to us. Loved the fish starters, and the spaghetti, gnocchi, and chicken were excellent. Went back the following night. It's just a lovely place to eat.

23/01/2025: It was a very good surprise, I came across it a bit by chance while looking for a restaurant nearby. It's a bit lost in a small street, there weren't many people when I went there (in January for a weekday lunch). The food was really good, including homemade pasta and dishes that changed daily. The desserts were very good too. The waitress was very friendly, with an adorable dog who greets you at the door. The prices were very good compared to the quality of the dishes. If I had more time I would have gone back!

14/01/2025: Found it on Google last minute since we were in the Piazza Navona area. We were craving carbonates and stopped. Nothing to say, the food is really good. We were unlucky with the service because it took over an hour to come out. We were also in a hurry and with small children but in the end we left quite satisfied.

26/02/2025: Probablemente la mejor comida que tuvimos en Roma como una familia de cuatro. Todos los platos de pasta eran maravillosos, cocinados a la perfección. Valió la pena esperar a que el restaurante abriera 12 : 30 en febrero. Muchos lugareños en comer, lo que siempre es una buena señal. El vino de la casa era encantador también.

21/02/2025: Ieri sera cena dopopartita con mio figlio che, in base ad una esperienza estiva nell'isola di Rodi, è rimasto colpito da alcuni piatti della cucina greca. Per me prima esperienza ma personalmente amo provare, scoprire e quindi assaggiare, cucine di tutto il mondo. Locale molto carino e curato con una accoglienza e conseguente servizio, veramente ottimo. Siamo partiti con antipasti tzatziki e melanzanosalata per poi virare su giros di maiale. Tutto molto buono e con alcuni sapori che personalmente era la prima volta che sentivo. Nel finale della serata, la ciliegina sulla torta è stata l'uscita dalla cucina dello Chef Charalampos Ntoumatzios che salutando i commensali, ha chiesto giudizio dei piatti e della serata stessa. Ho sempre trovato molto bello ed altrettanto intelligente, che lo chef esca in sala e chieda pareri direttamente al cliente. Avere poi il piacere di scambiare 2 chiacchiere in totale tranquillità e con altrettanti suggerimenti futuri, l'ho trovato molto bello perchè aiuta il cliente a conoscere le tradizioni e la storia di un paese che non si conosce. Complimenti a tutti, dallo Chef fino all'ultimo dei lavoratori del locale...sicuramente tornerò in futuro!!

20/01/2025: Una Locanda che è un gioiello; e sembra normale che certi gioielli non si trovino così, sulla via, bisogna meritarseli. La ristorazione è un esercizio strano: il cliente paga un servizio e valuta quello che ha ricevuto in cambio di denaro. La Locanda del Ditirambo è uno dei rari posti, rari anche in Ciociaria, dove non si offre solo questo, dove si mette in gioco oltre al lavoro anche la passione, dove si sentono le persone dentro le cose, e la fatica si fa piacere, lusso. Per carità, niente è perfetto, ma tutto ha un altro senso per il cliente quando si capisce che dall'altra parte si vuole ad ogni costo, con testardaggine, migliorare le cose, e magari migliorare un prodotto già buono di suo, andare oltre, e allora persino quelle che sembrano piccole imperfezioni diventano parte necessaria del bello, non solo perché lo rendono domestico e affabile. Ecco, parliamo del menu', abbastanza ridotto (che è quasi sempre garanzia di un lavoro fatto in proprio e fatto bene); ma prima di tutto vorrei parlare del pane, che lo chef prepara da sé, delizioso. Poi, senza essere lineare, sorprendermi dei dolci, che non troverete in nessun altro ristorante, perché non vengono da un furgone, da una fabbrica, da una pasticceria, ma da queste quattro mura: ma che spettacolo! Che spettacolo un cuoco che si rompe la testa per portarvi i propri dolci a fine pasto, e li fa come dio comanda! Il tris di antipasti si impone come un must, col tortino di patate a farla da principe, una grande invenzione; poi i secondi di carne, coll'ottimo collo di maiale con note affumicate e agrodolci, e una tradizionale bufaletta (stufato di bufala ciociara) tra le più buone mai assaggiate. Tornerò, si certo, e tornerò per i primi, che non ho assaggiato; e per la cantina, che sembra proprio ben fornita. È un posto dove, a meno di non essere proprio ottusi, si torna: un posto del cuore.

The Locanda del Ditirambo is one of the rare places, rare even in Ciociaria, where not only this is offered, where not only work but also passion is brought into play, where you feel the people inside the things, and the effort becomes pleasure, luxury. Of course, nothing is perfect, but everything has a different meaning for the customer when it is understood that on the other hand they want at all costs, with stubbornness, to improve things, and perhaps improve an already good product, go further, and then even what seem like small imperfections become a necessary part of beauty, not only because they make it domestic and affable. Here, let's talk about the menu, quite small (which is almost always a guarantee of a job done in-house and done well); but first of all I would like to talk about the bread, which the chef prepares himself, delicious. Then, without being linear, I'm surprised by the desserts, which you won't find in any other restaurant, because they don't come from a van, from a factory, from a pastry shop, but from these four walls: what a spectacle! What a spectacle a chef who breaks his head to bring you his own desserts at the end of the meal, and makes them as God commands! The trio of starters imposes itself as a must, with the potato pie as the prince, a great invention; then the meat second courses, with the excellent pork neck with smoky and sweet and sour notes, and a traditional bufaletta (Ciociaria buffalo stew) among the best I have ever tasted. I will return, yes of course, and I will return for the first courses, which I have not tasted; and for the cellar, which seems really well stocked. It is a place where, unless you are very dense, you return: a place of the heart.

29/12/2024: The ambiance is perfect. Exposed stone with vaulted ceilings. A spacious yet intimate dining area. Excellent service!! And the food? Five star quality. The crudo is incredible and so fresh. The spaghetti vongole, rigatoni, amuse bouche…all perfectly seasoned and flavored. An enjoyable experience from start to finish. Lose yourself in rustic yet elegant surroundings in this wonderful restaurant, in a charming and historic setting.
