Excellent welcome, on the tables we found two Easter eggs (a truly unexpected thought), friendly and attentive staff, excellent and abundant food (all meat-based). 13/05/2026: A hidden gem in the heart of Rimini An extraordinary place in the heart of the historic center, housed in an ancient stone building that alone is worth the visit. Tucked away in a slightly secluded alley, but if you look for it, it's absolutely worth it. There's no set menu: you order from the blackboard based on the catch of the day, which says everything about the freshness and quality of the fish. I had a simply perfect clam and chickpea soup, followed by grilled mackerel cooked to perfection ❤️ authentic flavors, exceptional ingredients. The service is warm and genuinely friendly, and you can sense their passion for the craft. And the prices? Simply incredible for this quality: the most expensive dish of the evening was a mixed raw fish at €26... I saw it pass by at the next table, and it was breathtakingly beautiful. Just looking at it was worth every penny. The grilled mackerel I ordered? €23 for freshness and impeccable cooking, one of the best value I've ever seen. Il Pescato del Canevone is firmly in my top five restaurants in Rimini. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic, no-frills seafood.

10/05/2026: A restaurant in the center of Rimini, near the ZTL (limited traffic zone), easily accessible thanks to several nearby parking lots. A chalkboard menu is displayed at the entrance, and the atmosphere is welcoming. In my experience, the quality of the catch is excellent, everything is seafood-based, and there are numerous wines available. There was a wait for a table, and the service was prompt; the friendly staff offered us a drink. The first courses were served pan-fried. The desserts were a real treat. You pay a little more for quality...

28/03/2026: I don't usually write negative reviews, but unfortunately, this time I can't help it. Last Saturday, three of us went to dinner, one of whom was gluten-intolerant. The waiter who took our order politely asked if it was possible to have the grilled fish without bread. He replied, "I can make it, but I recommend you order it with bread because it's better." He was kindly told that she couldn't eat bread and was shown a package of gluten-free crackers that my friend had with her. At that point, the waiter confirmed that it was possible to have the grilled fish without bread. So we ordered two (without bread). When the grilled fish arrived, the bread had clearly been removed by running the fish under water, as it still had crumbs on it. We asked what those little dots were and were so casually told, "The seasoning." Obviously, my friend didn't eat any more and preferred not to order anything else due to the lack of attention we were given. The grilled fish, which had been rinsed under running water by then, was also tasteless. And yet, we still ended up with a rather high bill. We've eaten at this restaurant often in the past; we were probably unlucky this time, but the service was truly unprofessional and risked causing problems for my friend. The waiters should be trained more carefully; service is not optional.

13/04/2026: The place is very nice, small and cozy, perhaps a little too noisy, but that's the fault of the patrons. The food is excellent; the freshness of the fish pairs perfectly with the skill of the chef and the generous portions. Considering we're on the Riviera Romagnola, the service may be a little too "rigid"; better a smile more than a smile less sometimes. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Reservations are recommended.

03/05/2026: This evening we ate at a restaurant where we had a truly wonderful time. We were greeted warmly by wonderful and very kind people. Special thanks to Beatrice and her father: two professional, attentive people who are truly skilled at providing advice. We ate very well: the fish was incredibly fresh, the prices were very fair, and even the meat dishes we saw passing by were truly inviting. A place we absolutely recommend and will gladly return to! ✨

02/05/2026: I stopped by for lunch. My daughter had tagliatelle with ragù (a generous portion from the kitchen), and I had strozzapreti with clams and calamari—PHENOMENAL!!!
