14/02/2024: We booked this place without hesitation due to the excellent reviews from my favorite guide and for the first time in 25 years I completely disagree with the guide's reviews. We ordered a seafood first course, a second course with side dish and a bottle of house wine. They served me a thin slice instead of the steak indicated on the menu and four dried up aubergines. The portion of the fish first course was really small. The house wine is ordinary but with a good wine price. Furthermore, what surprised me quite a bit, very little friendliness despite the usual splendid Campania hospitality. What can I say, tourist trap…. Ps. Some people will object to me: why didn't I send everything back to the kitchen and leave. Well, we were tired, hungry and it was Saturday night…

09/01/2024: This is a great pizza restaurant. All pizzas are delicious And it's calamari and seafood salad matdori ㅠㅠ I ate 2 pieces with added calamari. It was difficult to climb the hill on a hot day, but it was delicious so I forgive everything. I recommend it

03/04/2024: Amazing restaurant, the food is top quality and the service is the best, we really enjoyed this place, we where sad to leave our hotel stay because of it, If you're in the area even if you have to drive 30 minutes is well worth it, highly recommended...

05/04/2024: Our favorite restaurant in Positano! In fact, we loved it so much, we went twice during our 4 night stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the view is spectacular! My husband and I will have dreams about the bruschetta, so whatever you do, you MUST order some!

03/11/2023: 테라스에 앉았는데 전망과 분위기가 좋 았어요. 서비스로 주신 웰컴 푸드도 맛있었고, 해산물 파스타와 까르보나라를 시켰는데 풍미가 깊어서 너무 맛있었어요! 특히 해산물 파스타는 적당히 짭짤하고 면이 독특해서 추천해요. 신혼여행을 왔다고 했더니 친절한 웨이터 Rino가 초콜릿 디저트와 함께 노래를 멋지게 불러줬어요. 특별한 추억을 만들어주셔서 감사합니다!

12/10/2023: Rino We had an amazing meal at this restaurant this past week, we had the Cacio Pepe and the pasta with Zuchini and they were both great. The highlight however was the view you get of the town and port and our waiter Rino. He noticed we had just got engaged and brought out a desert and sang for us, a really memorable meal!

05/04/2024: We were recommended this place by our B&B. We enjoyed our meal, it is price relatively well for Positano. Unfortunately the black and white pasta was unavailable but we had the option to choose another kind of pasta for the season food and lemon pasta dishes. The grilled vegetables were great. The lemon cake was amazing, the tiramisu was good but had chocolate chips inside which wasn’t to our tastes personally. Overall, the vibe is nice and you get to have a typical Positano lunch with a view without as hefty of a price tag compared to other places.

13/11/2023: Our hosts recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. They were happy to accommodate us despite not having a reservation and arriving late into Positano. Family owned with some of the most stunning views. Every window is like a postcard. The menu had a good variety and we loved our meal. Fresh, tasty food, great wine, and all for a very fair price!

Positano marinadan 5 dakikalık bir tekne yolculuğuyla ulaşılan Da Alfonso küçük bir plaja da sahip. Rezervasyonunuz yoksa da, tekneyle geçip, saat 2:30’dan sonra boşalan masalardan birini yakalama şansınız var. Yemekler deniz mahsülü İtalyan mutfağı. Yediğimiz en iyi yemek değildi, ama atmosfer çok keyifli. Hiç bir zaman açılmayan bir telefonu var, rezervasyon için kalacağınız otelden destek alabilirsiniz ama en az 1 ay önceden yer ayırmamız lazım. Positano bölgesinde güzel deniz ve keyifli bir yemek için girmeyi becerebilirseniz Da Adolfo güzel bir alternatif. ——————————————— Da Adolfo is a simple looking beachside restaurant in Positano. It is almost impossible to find a table though. Da Alfonso, which can be reached by a 5-minute boat ride from Positano marina, also has a small beach. Even if you don't have a reservation, you have the chance to go by boat and catch one of the tables that will be available after 2:30.The food is seafood Italian cuisine. It wasn't the best meal we've had, but the atmosphere is very pleasant. They have a phone for reservation that is never picked up. You can ask for support from the hotel where you will be staying, but we need to reserve a place at least one month in advance. 09/05/2024: My husband and I spent 10 days in Italy, and this was, without a doubt, the best meal we had on our trip! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was phenomenal. They even provided a shuttle to and from the restaurant since we were staying on the far end of Positano. Definitely make this a stop if you’re in the area!

04/05/2024: Fabulous feast worth the detour and for everyone who wants to experience a real “plate upgrade” vs the typical, Amalfi harbor tourist joint. Sit close to the open kitchen to watch the maestro of the pasta station do his magic - organized, calm, impressively effortless.

12/05/2024: My wife and I had the most delightful dinner experience at Max on Saturday night. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. Every recommendation, from wine pairings to dessert choices, was spot on. The food was impeccably prepared, the wine selection superb, and the desserts were pure perfection. We are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

03/12/2023: Absolutely amazing!!!! We came twice during our trip, once for lunch, once for evening cocktails. Both provided different experiences and I would recommend both! The views, cocktails, and food were all amazing. A must in Positano!

03/04/2024: The staff was very friendly, but the food wasn’t so hot and the pasta was a bit too al dente for us. It seems the meatballs and gnocchi are the way to go, but we went with mixed seafood and pasta as well as the pasta and tuna with onion special. The food was not bad, but not nearly as good as the other food we have had in the region. Maybe it was bad luck, but this was our experience. The wine from Etna was very nice!
