03/11/2024: My wife and I tried Ristorante D'Aiello on our first day and Italy. The food, service, and views were excellent. This is a great place to eat, especially if you enjoy people watching as many tables overlook the main street. We went during non-peak tourism times, which I would highly recommend if you plan on enjoying Italy without being shoulder to shoulder on the streets and wish to see and enjoy everything on your list.
Special shoutout to our waitress, Elenora, who was extremely polite and whose service really contributed to the great experience we had.

Excellent cuisine with quality products, dishes chosen and prepared with particular care, and as we know you pay for quality..

20/11/2024: What can I say!? It's expensive but rightly so! The ambience is the most beautiful you can have in Amalfie and that's saying something!
Unfortunately I can't remember the waiter's name but he was perfect! And he looked as Italian as one can look :p Thanks for the service!
Everything was really excellent, only the food didn't quite match the level of service and ambience, but still good, it was a great experience from start to finish!
09/11/2024: Characteristic and welcoming little square one step away from the crowd, excellent cuisine using local products, we ate: lobster linguino, appetizer with octopus, mussel soute and delicate lemon cake. Courteous table service. We will be back!

03/12/2024: Found this really cute pizzeria with lemon garden for lunch. The food and drinks were amazing and so were the staff. Definitely check out this place and enjoy the outdoor seatings.
27/11/2024: What a gem! we dined several times while staying in near by Atrani. The owners are so kind. One day we arrived late for lunch and the restaurant was closed, but the owner recognised us from a day earlier and welcomed us to relax under the lemon trees, offering us some appetisers and wine. We were happy to enjoy with the restaurant alone to ourselves while the staff had their lunch and prepared for dinner service. We ended up staying for 6 hours, drank lovely rosetto and enjoyed fresh pasta and Pizza.......memorable!

23/07/2024: My wife and I had a great meal here, it was fairly priced for Amalfi, drinks were half the cost of some of the much poorer quality restaurants in the main Amalfi square.
The owner isn’t overly friendly, wasn’t rude, but at the same time I’m yet to come across any restaurant staff in any of Italy that were friendly compared to our home country.
We were recommended to eat here by our airbnb host who is a local in the area.
30/06/2024: A wonderful Trattoria with a very cute charm! The service is so friendly. The owner was very welcoming and gave us recommendations for the dishes. The food was so delicious. The marinated Anchovies - Perfection and the Grilled Mozarrella - just out of this world. The eggplant Parmigiana was one of the best I have tried in the restaurants. The mains were great but the Pasta with Clams was okay. The dessert was amazing and house wine - also a PERFECTION. Overall, I recommend this restaurant especially for the location of Amalfi as the prices were pretty great.

11/11/2024: A fine dining experience! Rocco was a great host. Classic Italian dishes were sublime. Limoncello and wine were a great value compared to other over-priced amalfi restaurants. A bit of a walk up the road but that area was a nice break from the hectic main square.

08/07/2024: We ate here several times during our stay and it was fabulous every time! Fresh seafood with the most delicious sauces we tried. The service was beyond anything I have experienced in other restaurants. Romolo and Valentino are the ultimate hosts.

Una volta a tavola, la qualità del menu si è confermata all’altezza delle descrizioni.
Servizio molto cortese e rapido, con attenzione ai dettagli (ciotola per il cane e salviette peofumate calde per lavarsi le mani dopo il pesce).

The pasta and deserts were great value and highly rated by our party.
The staff also provided very useful advice on what to see around Amalfi.

25/11/2024: I had lunch with a friend, I was eager to eat a Neapolitan pizza....total disappointment, full of liquid, soft, with frozen fish, my friend's risotto with prawns, in addition to not being good looking, was even mediocre!
Stay away, go elsewhere!!!

11/12/2024: Hallo zusammen,
scheinbar gibt es hier auch ein paar Leute mit schlechten Erfahrungen zum Ristorante "la perla". Die kann ich nicht teilen.
Wir waren 2x drinnen. Das erste mal war Mittags. Da hat uns der vermutlich Chef etwas nervig in der Gasse eingefangen. Wir ließen uns das gefallen und haben schnell jeweils einen Teller Nudeln gegessen. Die waren in Ordnung, aber auch nicht weltbewegend.
2 Tage später haben wir dem Lokal noch einmal abends ein Chance gegeben. das war schon besser. Zugegeben die Portionen (z.B. das Thunfischfilet) sind nicht groß, aber dafür ist der Preis mit 18€ auch passend kleiner. Für Wenigesser wie meine Frau perfekt. Mancher Schnäppchenjäger mag vermutlich vom günstigen Preis angelockt, dann über die Portionsmenge enttäuscht sein. Kurzum, wir haben das volle Programm genossen. Starter war die Thunischtartarplatte die hier z.Zt. als Profilbild des Lokals dient. Absolut lecker. Die Hauptspeisen (Tonno und Tagliata) waren sehr gut, ebenso Dolce und Wein. Dazu ein sehr freudlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

26/11/2024: This place represents the hospitality and friendliness of the Amalfitans. The excellent food is fried live and the products are typical. I was lucky enough to have lunch on the restaurant's balcony. Excellent quality/price ratio.

04/12/2024: The food is reasonably nice. Portions not too generous. Service and attitude of the staff is crappy. Prices average just like every other touristy spot in Amalfi. The lady who I presume to be the owner was miserable. One thing really ticked me off is that they served a bottle of San Pellegrino mineral water which was obviously refilled and was charged €5.

24/08/2024: Three Margerita Pizzas were just ok , better than supermarket but not by much . Mine was really blackened , I had to tear a lot of it off , but the other two were better . Service was alright but we were the only ones in there at 1pm so I should hope so .
12/08/2024: La mejor comida de toda la Costa Amalfitana, Gabrielle nos trató genial y la comida exquisita, recomendado 100%. Todo perfecto.
