Quattro Passi

13/10/2025: I can confidently say that this restaurant was the best experience I had in Italy.
I was treated most warmly by the restaurant with first-class service, which made the experience even more delightful.
The interior was majestic, with open windows to enjoy the spectacular weather coming from the sea.
The food was sublime. Some highlights for me were:
1. Appetizer, inspired by Quattro Passi's early days as a pizzeria
2. Mullet Wafer: Must-try, my favorite dish. I can't emphasize this dish enough, I'm confident this is the best fish I've ever tasted in my life.
3. Tomato pasta: It looks like any normal tomato pasta, with only noodle and red sauce, but the flavor is out of this world. Really really surprised by the flavor, the richness of the tomato is so dense, it completely dominates.
4. Saffron, rice, chocolate tart: Wonderfully rich flavor, with fun textures coming from the rice grains
It's quite difficult to travel there, but I sincerely wish I can enjoy another meal at this place again in the future.

19/11/2025: We left home in a storm, but fearlessly we decided to continue and reached Sorrento, where we stopped. Continuing along the road that leads to Massa Lubrense, we were hungry, and after a bend, a sign called "Il Nastro d'Oro" (Golden Ribbon) was there, so we decided to stop. Luckily, the view was breathtaking: Capri is within touching distance. The owner, Francesco, is courteous, knowledgeable, and, above all, passionate about his work. You can tell he takes great care in preparing his dishes... Exceptional, I won't tell you exactly what it is, because you'll have to discover it by going there. And what can I say about Enrico, the owner's son: polite, professional, and eager to please.
It was a special day celebrating the birthday of a dear friend of ours.
If you're passing by, stop by! It will be an experience you'll treasure in your memories.
11/11/2025: The owner was so kind. Made me feel like I was actually wanted in Italy. Only great experience I had. Wish I could have seen him and eaten there again. Definitely go and tell Francesco, Ryan the American sent you.

08/11/2025: Refood was one of our favorite places we ate at during our trip to Sorrento! We ended up eating there twice it was so amazing. We had the calamari, clams linguine, lasagna, and gnocchi a la Sorrento. The calamari was tender and tasted like it had been caught that same day, and the gnocchi was made using potatoes from the owner’s farm. Both times we went the service was great and we loved getting to know the amazing family who owns the place. I highly recommend! Be sure and check out the owner’s wine cellar while you’re there as well.
30/10/2025: We were a bit pushed for time with our toddler with us so only had time for a main and quick desert I feel I must leave a review. The traditional local dishes were perfect and even our smallest family member approved! We had the Gnocchi alla Sorrento and a Spaghetti alla nerano that was perfectly balanced (when a cheese dish like that could have ended up cloying). The service was also very friendly. Although the building is spacious it has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Grazie millie!

11/01/2026: Recommended by friends, we chose this place for a family Sunday lunch.
Reservations are almost mandatory because the place is intimate with limited seating.
There's ample parking, an air-conditioned dining room, and thoughtfully furnished, as a trattoria should be.
We were welcomed by Enzo, the owner, a friendly man who immediately made you feel at home. We chose the set lunch with various appetizers, a choice of first course, a second course with a choice of side dish, and a choice of dessert. We were very pleased with the simplicity of the dishes, prepared with love and quality ingredients.
The house wine was good, and the bill was also reasonable. We will definitely return.

29/10/2025: Very delicious pizza and great service. We enjoyed the view and sound of sea waves while having a glass of wine. I highly recommend you stopping by and eat here. Btw, their homemade tiramisu is delicious so don’t skip the dessert.

12/10/2025: A restaurant a bit out of the way, but within walking distance of the city center in about 15 minutes. The restaurant is small but cozy, located in a basement. The tiny mezzanine, with a few tables, is charming, creating a sense of distance from the rest of the space below. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. The menu is excellent, not overly varied or elaborate, yet very interesting. Traditional dishes, more or less elaborate, are well-proportioned. The wine list is good. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Parking is available. The price/quality ratio is decent.

11/01/2026: We've been to "Bocca di Bacco" several times, and it's always a pleasure. The atmosphere and the dishes are always innovative and delicious. I recommend it for the high-quality meat and also for the appetizers, first courses, and desserts, which are always different and carefully prepared! An explosion of flavor!

25/11/2025: We got welcomed even if we got there in low season and without booking. The owners are super friendly and I love how the place is decorated. I ordered Ravioli with rabbit (outside the menu) and they were one of the best meals I had in Italy. Lovely place

We were served a welcome wine (sparkling) and fries as an appetizer.
We had a platter of three seafood appetizers, seafood spaghetti (today with anchovies? and pine nuts), shrimp risotto, and a Campania white wine.
The spaghetti was a little too salty for Kawamaru, but the crunchy pine nuts went perfectly with the tomatoes, and the oil sauce was delicious with bread.
The shrimp risotto had plump shrimp and a mild lemon and cheese flavor; I ate it all in no time!
The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also great.
