22/08/2025: One of the worst restaurant experiences of my entire life. Personally, I think it's essential for the staff to understand Italian, especially since we're in Italy, and I don't mean that in a mean way, because I have to admit I felt sorry for these waitresses (but even so, it's still surreal). 2 hours without food, waiting for an order that was even forgotten! 🤦‍♀️ At least they offered us a focaccia... Which was meant for the table behind ours... Oh well... (At least it was free) As if that weren't enough, the staff wasn't helpful or even understanding for forgetting our order, which is incredible in itself; on the contrary, they were needlessly pedantic towards us after we brought up the VARIOUS incidents. If I ever found myself managing a restaurant like this, I'd honestly do something else. If you owners read this review, don't be a know-it-all, but learn to improve...

11/05/2025: We went to this restaurant without much expectation and received excellent service. The meals we ordered were delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2025: If I give one star it's too much, we had 5 ice creams, we only received the cone with a hint of the flavours, in the meantime we sat down while we were already finishing the ice cream (given the size), the waiter arrives and asks us to get up as those who get the ice creams cannot use the tables. I absolutely do not recommend as customers are treated not as people but only thinking about takings and money.

13/05/2025: La vue est magnifique. Par contre un risotto servi tiède avec UNE crevette à 20 euros c'est clairement exagéré ! Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

04/05/2025: Restaurant mit sehr schöner Aussicht über Neapel. Guter Service. Gute und reichhaltige Barkarte. Übersichtliche Menükarte.

25/04/2025: Ristorante con sala interna e un bel terrazzo a livello spiaggia e vista mare. Il servizio è risultato ben organizzato e familiare. Saporiti i paccheri con baccalà, buona la frittura. Il prezzo è nella norma pur avendo mangiato il giorno di Pasqua.

07/06/2025: Never order the Platter for 2 people!!!!! We discovered this restaurant by chance about ten days ago, we arrived around 10.30pm and ordered some meat. We were very satisfied and this evening we decided to return. I will start by saying that the meat is very good but I gave it 1 star because I felt like I was being taken for a ride. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses for 2 (it was written right on the menu that it is a minimum for 2 people) and we received this mini... very small platter with 2 slices of salami, another 2 of salami and a slice and a half of cheese... All accompanied by some bacon put in a bow to add volume. Obviously I politely asked if that was it and the waiter replied that something else was coming, ok I was heartened... "something else" actually arrived, that is, a bowl of olives. The owner approached and asked if everything was ok and very politely I explained that I was a little taken aback by this famous platter. The owner, always with great politeness, tells me that he had noticed and that in the kitchen they had made a mistake and that he had already adjusted the price. Ergo... 2 slices of salami and a half of cheese cost me 18 euros instead of 24... I say... But don't say anything at all. If you noticed the mess made in the kitchen (because it wasn't a mistake but a mess made on purpose) either you send me something else without saying anything or you act like a gentleman and you don't even charge for these 4 slices of salami... I'm a shopkeeper too and I would never have behaved in this way. Tonight you may have earned an extra 18 euros, but you have certainly lost 2 customers!

11/03/2025: I would like to point out that for some strange reason the review was published about two years later. We went to Hortus for a quick lunch yesterday. The welcome is top notch, they are all friendly and nice, as well as professional, but what went over the top is the quality and flavor of the food: as in an ancient Neapolitan tavern, you can find almost forgotten flavours, excellent Campania products, both produced and from the land, and dishes prepared in an impeccable way. In addition to what you can see in the photo, we tasted the "broccoli and sausage" pasta (I don't remember the name they gave it)... sublime.

01/09/2025: Agreed with the "scammy" vibe reviews, they charge 4 euro pp for "bread, silverware, etc". We argued with the staff and manager but were not able to fully remove the charge. Food isn't bad, but go somewhere else instead. If I spoke Italian I wouldn't put up with this sh*t.

17/08/2025: With some friends we tried the power of invisibility...... we waited in vain for the waiter to take our orders but as if by magic we were always the last to be seated..... When informed of what had happened, the owner, in a heated and uncivil tone, told us that this is......... friendliness and hospitality do not belong to this place... shame we did not taste the product....... and I think it will remain only an unrealizable wish..........!!!!!!

06/07/2025: A place where the knowledge of food and hygiene has never arrived. Horrible. I got diarrhea. I reported it to the NAS. To be closed by burning everything

04/07/2025: We had a lovely meal here. At first we thought it was very quiet and should we be concerned but our meals were delicious ! We were given complimentary bread and mini bruschetta. The owner was so lovely and kind and welcoming. Would eat here again . Nonna is in the kitchen cooking

01/07/2025: We took 4 take-away pizzas, Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, they were not good at all, full of water and undercooked.
