17/05/2026: A Sunday literally ruined!!! Mediocre tasting house appetizers, 4 inedible first courses that were worth throwing away, but the most disgusting thing was seeing the owners smoking in the dining room as if there was no tomorrow, in the presence of children and pregnant people, a nightmare!!! We will never go back!!! Extremely high prices: 4 mixed appetizers, 4 disgusting first courses, a bottle of wine, a coke on tap, 4 waters €340!!! Everything was a nightmare!!!!!!

02/02/2026: RUINED SUNDAY We had booked this restaurant for a family Sunday to celebrate my daughter's graduation, having just returned from Milan. Having fond memories of the place, I called ahead to specifically ask if they catered to celiac disease and lactose intolerance. The answer was clear: "Yes, no problem." Once we arrived, however, the situation was the opposite. When ordering, we mentioned the intolerances and were arrogantly told: "You can sort it out yourself, just avoid what you see on your plate." When we asked for specific ingredients (since butter and dairy products aren't always visible), we received rude and superficial replies, demonstrating complete ignorance on the subject. Result: my daughter was only able to eat an octopus salad. Added to this was the truly sloppy service: a bottle of wine ordered from the menu wasn't available, the alternative was poured directly into glasses without tasting, and one of the glasses even contained water, which the wine was carelessly poured into. Meanwhile, other diners were served appetizers of questionable quality, while my daughter received none. When we asked for gluten-free bread, we were told they "never bought it." At that point, we asked for the bill (€130) and left. The problem isn't the price, but the unacceptable way they treat customers, especially when it comes to allergies and intolerances. We had called ahead precisely to avoid this, but the restaurant demonstrated utter superficiality and disrespect. I almost never write negative reviews, but I do so to spare others this terrible experience. Ignorance, incompetence, and arrogance ruined our Sunday. Absolutely avoid.

20/12/2025: The staff was understanding and let us in late, but the prices are a bit high. A nice, quiet place above the hubbub of Anacapri's main tourist streets.

16/10/2025: Unfortunately the only negative experience of a wonderful weekend in Capri is Anacapri, the price/quality ratio was incorrect but above all the service was inattentive and the dishes arrived cold. When we pointed this out they acknowledged the mistake but did not take any action.

20/05/2026: We stopped in for lunch and it was quiet, music was great, staff and food terrific. Excellent find for a relaxed meal.

09/05/2026: I consider myself a foodie. I’ve eaten at Michelin one-, two-, and the occasional three-star restaurant, and I’m just as happy with a great cheeseburger and fries. So I came to Le Monzù with an open mind and high expectations. What I got was the worst meal of my life. The trouble started before the food did. We were handed three tasting menus to choose from. My fiancée wanted the vegetarian; I wanted something with more protein. After fifteen or twenty minutes of deliberation, the server informed us — somewhat curtly — that we both had to order the same menu. This wasn’t printed anywhere, and no one mentioned it when the menus arrived. We asked if going à la carte would let us differ. One waiter said yes; another came back and said no, then offered to “make an exception.” From the first course we felt like we’d already done something wrong. The amuse-bouche was genuinely good. After that, things unraveled fast. The next course arrived with a pair of tiny tongs and what I can only describe as a tasteless pasta jellyfish…a translucent sheet of something draped over vegetables like a ghost. No explanation, no instruction on how to eat it. The vegetables underneath were fine. The “cuddlefish” was force-down territory, but I cleared the plate out of respect. Then came the pesto pasta. Somehow flavorless, fishy, and rancid all at once— a real feat. The photos my fiancée took of my face when I tasted it were the highlight of the evening. I never send food back. I’ll smile and tell a waiter “it was great” when it absolutely wasn’t. But at €220 a head, I couldn’t pretend. I told the server I didn’t like it and asked them to take it away. I didn’t even want a replacement…at that point I just wanted the meal to end. The course after wasn’t terrible. Dessert was mediocre: a salty frozen tomato thing, followed by a soggy gelato cone that had clearly been pre-filled hours earlier. This is Italy. Come on. To cap it off, my fiancée got food poisoning that night. I didn’t ask for a discount and I didn’t ask for a refund. I paid the $500 bill, walked back to our hotel, and tried to process what had just happened. Something has either slipped at Le Monzù or shifted since the star was awarded. In a country where you can stumble into a roadside trattoria and eat food the cook is genuinely proud of, this place left me with the opposite impression — that no one in the kitchen was particularly proud of what they sent out. That’s the real shame. Avoid.

23/11/2025: I was there this summer. The first time, we had such a great time that we decided to return several times during our stay. Impeccable dishes, attentive service, and the pizza is the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: What an amazing experience we had at this amazing restaurant. It’s a small family restaurant but the food is outstanding. I’d say the best food in the area. The owner, Benito , greeted us with a house spritz and a huge smile…which is rare in most Amalfi coast restaurants 😜. Later on , he gave us some local appetizer filled with cheese and it was wow. We ordered 4 cheeses pizza and sea food pasta that was recommended by his wonderful waiter …and he spoke English…which is a rare thing on the coast as well . Both dishes were so good . I couldn’t stop eating. I couldn’t even imagine that simple dishes can have so many flavors at once. At the end of the, Benito treated us to a house lemonchello and I fell in love with it. It was out of this world. Also we ordered some dessert that was recommended by our waiter as well. Obviously I didn’t ask its name . It was a white shaped dome with pear 🍐 filling inside. It was just wow. Total satisfaction in one meal. I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic Italian homemade meal and an amazing service…which is also very rare up there lol. Enjoy ! Definitely 10 ✨.

16/03/2026: Long and interminable wait, lunch turned into dinner, disorganized, arguments and shouting between the owner and staff really bad taste, as for the food, only the meat was good, very poor appetizer, the first course was pitiful, the dessert nothing special, terrible treatment, the table was laden with empty bottles and no one took them away, the only strong point of this place is the place itself, very large, equipped play area, lots of animals, at least the children had fun, but I definitely wouldn't go back

08/03/2026: I was there today, a real disaster, terrible food, a real disappointment, they should definitely change the chef, cold food, pasta, I won't tell you. I don't recommend it, it was the last time I'll go there.

13/05/2026: I admit I booked at Pan's Flute without learning much about the menu. I wanted to be wowed. What drew me in was undoubtedly the location, simply indescribable beauty. A terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast, which, as an Italian, fills me with pride. The evening began with a drink chosen at random: the waiter—with an old-fashioned courtesy—brought a die to roll. Each number corresponded to a drink (but you could, of course, roll it again or choose your own). Once we sat down, the flavors of the "family" recipes took on twists that intrigued, surprised, and satisfied both my partner and me. So, what can I say? Whether it's because of my enthusiastic review, those of a thousand others like me, or simply because I'm curious to find out if it's true, I hope you experience it at least once in your life. Enjoy your meal!

01/05/2026: Food ok.. service sucks bigtime. Almost impossible to get in contact with the staff. I was alone in the resturant and they were 5 waiters.

29/04/2026: 1. Food. Find some place else. 2. Service. Average. You can't order drinks alone or a plate to share. You need to order a plate for each person. That is the restaurant rule. 3. Atmosphere. The BEST in Positano. Postcard view. Not just that, you are seated along the road having wine and food on table that is coveted by other people. Enjoy your stay there and the best time is sunset, until all the Positano lights come alive ✨️ ❤️👍

18/05/2026: Caffetteria Mansi Lorenzo was one of our favorite spots in town. Raphael was incredibly welcoming. He recognized us when we came back and always went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. He was attentive and kind, often bringing little treats to the table even when we hadn’t ordered them, simply to be a thoughtful host and make our experience more enjoyable. The pastries were delicious, and the coffee and espresso were made perfectly every time. It became the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the moment. Sitting in the town square with a coffee in hand, chatting, and taking in the beauty and peaceful atmosphere of Scala was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The warmth, hospitality, and charm of this café made it a place we looked forward to visiting every day.

06/05/2026: The setting is pleasant with a beautiful view. The meal was disrupted by jackhammer work being carried out on the premises. The dishes were well-presented and tasty, but not very generous portions. The prices are high, but we are on Capri. These are the typical tourist prices found almost everywhere. Despite the unjustifiably high prices, the establishment charges a cover charge of 7 euros per person, which was not mentioned before the meal and had no explanation. In short, €121 for two people, including one main course and one drink per person. Make up your own mind.

01/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were all very disappointed by the quality/quantity of the dishes, and above all, they were excessively expensive. We know we're in Capri, but at this point, it's not just expensive, it's highway robbery. My advice: keep walking. The cover charge was €7 per person, and there were six of us, so do the math. The salads were "healthy," very "healthy" considering their portion size. Just one positive point (at least): a brioche bun that gave us something to eat. I don't like to be overly negative, but this review is for the public good...

05/05/2026: A beautiful property in the heart of Ravello, overlooking the central square and just steps from the bus stop. The rooms were spacious, fragrant, quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The owner was super kind and helpful, offering us lots of advice during our stay. A truly wonderful experience! My only suggestion would be to expand the breakfast selection: the products served were very fresh and delicious; however, there was no savory breakfast, and even the sweet options weren't very varied.

02/05/2026: Calling Giardini in Calce a B&B is an understatement. The location is perfect for exploring the village, just steps from the Duomo and all the local attractions, such as Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. The rooms are immaculately maintained, and the service is superb. The breakfast was excellent, but what made the stay special was the courtesy and professionalism of the owners and their incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive staff.

22/05/2026: The tagliatelle with the Bolognese sauce was unfortunately overcooked. However, my wife's spaghetti limone was good. Considering the price level in Amalfi, the food was decent and rather inexpensive. The staff is multilingual.

06/06/2026: I placed an order with Justeat. I paid. After 10 minutes, they canceled my order for no reason.
