15/08/2024: Ottimo ristorante con affaccio in Piazza Del Gesù e con possibilità di mangiare in una bella pedana all'aperto. Abbiamo assaggiato un buonissimo filetto di manzo, apprezzatissimo da mio figlio perché di scioglieva in bocca, ed un sandwich di orata anch'esso altrettanto buono. Prezzi giusti e personale gentile. Cosa chiedere di più?

12/11/2024: I traveled to Positano in October and unexpectedly found this great B&B. The host was very kind and took us around Positano to enjoy the sunset, and also recommended us a super delicious restaurant in Amalfi. We can see the wonderful ocean views in the rooms, the roof, and even the breakfast area. The room and bathroom were very clean and we had a great night. The breakfast is generous and delicious. Thank you, the host, for letting us have a great memories. We love it so much.

13/10/2024: We just finished a 3-day stay at this little paradise just outside Positano. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is the place. The Giovanni family, who have owned the hotel since 1917, welcomed us warmly and provided excellent recommendations for exploring the coast. They offer a complimentary and punctual shuttle to and from Positano’s city center (5-10 minute drive). Breakfast was delightful, featuring made-to-order eggs, prosciutto, cheese, fresh fruit, and a variety of baked goods and fresh coffee. The view during breakfast was stunning, and the beautifully landscaped property felt like a slice of heaven. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the Wi-Fi works great. We hope to visit again soon!

16/11/2024: Came here for dinner and food was amazing! Prices were cheap compared to other restaurants in town. Service was great too and the waiter was really friendly!

21/08/2024: Negative review, paying first thing in the morning for a pasticciotto reheated twice with a hard cream, 2 euros each, for me the owner should be ashamed, given that he was present and that the boy who served us reported it!! The product, even if frozen, must be fresh from the day and not from the day before!!!

16/12/2024: 12/15/2024 Fantastic experience in a REAL restaurant. Very friendly and witty staff. UNFORGETTABLE fried fish. As a good Venetian, I dared to ask for polenta and the wonderful waitress jokingly teased me. And she did well, I deserved it! I'm still ashamed of it. I was in Campania and I had to respect the gastronomy of that region.Divinely eaten, excellent local wines, superlative desserts.We we had lunch outdoors and bad luck it started pouring. They welcomed us inside even though it was almost closing time. Thanks again. An excellent memory for your friendliness, friendliness and professionalism.

08/12/2024: Ideally located opposite the entrance to the excavation site. Simple, small, clean campsite. Sanitary area is not heated, but clean. There are good restaurants, shopping center and gas station nearby. The train station can be reached on foot in a few minutes

02/11/2024: Donna Rachelle is not only a charming place in Capri, but also its food and service will make you feel like you are in the middle of an experience. On my first visit I had a Donna Rachele pizza, not only was it generously sized for one person to eat, but its flavour was spectacular. I couldn't help but return after seeing their varied menu and I ate the best pasta I have ever eaten in Italy. Donna Rachelle is definitely a place to return to in Capri.♥️

30/10/2024: Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgast im Vivara, wenn wir auf Procida sind. Diesmal waren wir 35 Personen, nur für einen Nachmittag im Vivara, und der Betreiber hat extra für uns den Rooftop aufgemacht. Das Essen und der Service waren wie immer hervorragend. Grazie Mille wir kommen 2025 wieder.

20/10/2024: Serata di fine settembre con i nipoti (grandi). Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto cenare all’aperto perché la serata non lo permetteva ma anche all’interno siamo stati benissimo anzi forse meglio in quanto abbiamo potuto dilungarci nelle chiacchiere. Il cibo perfetto: eccellente ed abbondante. Personalmente vorrei consigliare la frittura: sublime! Il personale solerte e gentilissimo.

01/08/2024: One of the best meals if not the best meal we’ve ever had. Everything we ordered was divine: risotto, gnocchi, filet and amberjack. Just 10/10 for us and we cleaned our plates.

09/01/2025: New Year's Eve 2025, my friends and I, a group of 15 people, after having celebrated the arrival of the new year in Rome, having to return to Bari where we all live, we decide to stop for lunch in Salerno, being a beautiful city passing through. You are in Salerno, 45 minutes from Naples, in Campania, one of the best regions in Italy on a culinary level, so we decide to sit down quickly for a very normal pizza, which is made in a town in Campania and by pizza chefs from Campania, which for us is not habitual. We had never done it. The Spunzillo pizzeria didn't do a single thing right. Let's leave aside the understandable delay in service at 3pm on New Year's Day (I don't seat 15 people to earn some extra money if I have to ruin the reputation of my place). We were made to sit upstairs at 3.30pm and left there to die of hunger, without even a waiter who stopped by every now and then, a bit of bread to nibble on or at least some sacrosanct water. At 4.45pm we finally glimpse a waiter who freely decides to serve the table next to ours because according to him "there are only 3, it's quicker". After another full half hour we can finally order. All together we had opted for a few appetizers and a pizza each only to find out, almost 2 hours later from when I had read the menus, that at that time only pizzas could be ordered, of course this was also understandable given the situation but why don't say it right before we sit down?? After all this rigmarole, we order these blessed pizzas and most of us choose a pizza called "ragù", as people from Bari imagine the meat and sauce typical of Sunday ragù. This too remained only an illusion, a demerit of ours for not knowing that Neapolitan ragù is without meat, but hence the presentation of a €13 pizza as a simple margherita with ragù sauce, mozzarella, two pieces of ricotta and rotten basil leaves It seems unworthy to me for a Neapolitan pizzeria. I won't even dwell on the quality of this pizza, because in addition to being raw, inedible and with very low quality ingredients, the surprise came when a boy in my group, allergic to gluten, was delivered more than a pizza, a record player dirty with sauce and even a small piece of wood was found inside. Not to mention the filth of the oven in which the normal pizzas were cooked, I don't understand how anyone can have a business on the seafront of Salerno, among the most beautiful in the south, and run it with this indifference. Beyond the culinary misadventures, however, the thing that shocked us the most was the attitude of the owner and employees. We were treated like brats just because we were 22/23 year olds, not competent, according to the pizza chef, to understand whether a pizza is good or not. The owner even attacked us saying "well for not even €20 each you are sticking to these things". Personally, despite being a 22 year old boy, I find all this disgusting. I, like all my friends, worked in catering and NEVER addressed a customer in this way. “The customer is always right” goes the saying which in my opinion is not always true, but if a table of 15 people, whether children or adults, complains about so many inconsistencies in your restaurant, what I would do at LEAST would be to apologize and try to clarify these inconsistencies themselves. This respect was not given to us by the owner of this "pizzeria". In the end we only paid €15 each, very little but for the experience we had I think that restaurateurs of this type make Italy look bad, today there were 15 young people from Puglia, tomorrow there may be tourists who will have them forever I remember this, I feel ashamed and disgusted. What else can I say, not only do I not recommend going there in the slightest but if it were in my power I would close this place as soon as possible, low professionalism, if any, and INCOMPETENCE reign in the sector.

09/01/2025: Spunzillo: - 1h 30min WAITING: New Year's Day, seated around 3pm. I understand the inconvenience of the day but rather don't seat customers who you cannot guarantee good service - PIZZA WITH SAUCE BONES: 2 pizzas out of 15 contained a piece of bone of considerable size, to which they justified themselves by saying 'it could happen, it never will' - BAD PIZZA MAKER: in a grumpy manner he accused us of being too young to understand certain things. RAW PIZZA They paid us off with a €15 discount on a €300 bill assuming that our problem was economic. We missed the sunset on the Salerno seafront because of this experience, I strongly advise against it.

01/01/2025: A nice surprise: great food. Very welcome fried, the Napoli pizza is exceptional for its superbly chosen ingredients: Sanmarzano tomato, Cantabrian anchovies and Pantelleria capers. An explosive mix!

09/12/2024: Beautiful venue in the heart of the Vomero district; It's a shame that we only discovered it on the last day of our stay. Excellent cuisine, friendly and helpful staff. We will be back soon

19/10/2024: Posto perfetto per una cena particolare. Vista splendida sul Ischia. Francesca è una padrona di casa meravigliosa, disponibile, cortese, simpatica e sa indirizzare al meglio le scelte dei suoi ospiti. I prodotti utilizzati sono di eccellente qualità, di stagione, cucinati e presentati in maniera originale.

05/10/2024: Scoperta questa location per puro caso, ed è stato un qualcosa di sensazionale, non solo per la vista, ma soprattutto per il palato. Cucina unica, insuperabile del mitico Chef Angelo. Il Giardino Mediterraneo per me è una perla rara che abbiamo qui ad Ischia, e di questo lo si deve alla padrona di casa Francesca, che oltre ad essere una persona estremamente intelligente e appassionata, si è mostrata disponibile e gentile fin da subito. Il locale rappresenta in tutto e per tutto ció che lei è: favolosa! Un encomio speciale va anche al super e giovane Fabrizio che con tanta simpatia ci ha portati fin sopra la metà. Alla prossima, che avverrà quanto prima. ❤️

22/12/2024: Cucina scadente inoltre sono arrivati piatti appena tiepidi a tavola... inoltre a tratti sisentiva un cattivo odore di materiale vecchio..

23/10/2024: Had a really great lunch here. So beautiful. The reviews were not great but we had the mushroom pasta and seafood risotto with vegetable salad. Everything was so perfect. They exceeded expectations. And the view was so enjoyable.

22/10/2024: We took the seven course set. I really liked the appetizers. The three main courses were average, the dessert average. Service and snacks very good. The wine list is insane... luckily, a very good wine was chosen. The place itself has a simple toilet like everywhere else. It must be said that usually when visiting michelin places, the stomach is empty, but here it was super full. It was an experience when some of the meals are not worthy of a michelin star, and in fairness, the total amount could be a third less.
