The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh homemade products (cakes, croissants, etc.). We also almost always stopped in for lunch and dinner (gluten-free pasta, gluten-free pizza, gluten-free fried foods, etc.). Superb!

The staff is very attentive and friendly. Serenella (the owner) She welcomes guests with great warmth and friendliness, and is also a top-notch sommelier. In fact, she always manages to amaze by recommending the perfect wine to complement each dish. We enjoyed both the pizza, which has a very personalized style that evokes both the Neapolitan flavour and the pleasant crispness of Cilento. And the cuisine. 18/10/2025: The location is beautiful (sea view, in a shaded garden) and the food was delicious. The prices are moderately high, but you can taste the quality and spend it happily. We didn't have any problems with waiting (as I read in other reviews), but it must be said that we ate very late, in a nearly empty restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable. It's a shame to read so many negative reviews because it's a lovely place, with authentic cuisine (fresh and beautifully cooked fish, including fried fish that was nice and dry). You pay for the view (and the fame of Castellabate).

The atmosphere was too hot and chaotic. Having already had experience, as soon as I saw that none of the tables had food, I realized that the kitchen was out of sorts and we left.

02/02/2026: RUINED SUNDAY We had booked this restaurant for a family Sunday to celebrate my daughter's graduation, having just returned from Milan. Having fond memories of the place, I called ahead to specifically ask if they catered to celiac disease and lactose intolerance. The answer was clear: "Yes, no problem." Once we arrived, however, the situation was the opposite. When ordering, we mentioned the intolerances and were arrogantly told: "You can sort it out yourself, just avoid what you see on your plate." When we asked for specific ingredients (since butter and dairy products aren't always visible), we received rude and superficial replies, demonstrating complete ignorance on the subject. Result: my daughter was only able to eat an octopus salad. Added to this was the truly sloppy service: a bottle of wine ordered from the menu wasn't available, the alternative was poured directly into glasses without tasting, and one of the glasses even contained water, which the wine was carelessly poured into. Meanwhile, other diners were served appetizers of questionable quality, while my daughter received none. When we asked for gluten-free bread, we were told they "never bought it." At that point, we asked for the bill (€130) and left. The problem isn't the price, but the unacceptable way they treat customers, especially when it comes to allergies and intolerances. We had called ahead precisely to avoid this, but the restaurant demonstrated utter superficiality and disrespect. I almost never write negative reviews, but I do so to spare others this terrible experience. Ignorance, incompetence, and arrogance ruined our Sunday. Absolutely avoid.

01/12/2025: We arrived at 4:00 PM, were seated, and didn't have a long wait even though the place was busy. We ordered two first courses (1 linguine with clams and 1 linguine with seafood), which were good, but the mussels were cold and the clams were very small. For the second course, we ordered a calamari platter for two (we specified "abundant"), and we received a normal amount of calamari, not too small but not too large, and a nice plate of mixed salad. We went to pay, and the lady at the table charged us for two calamari platters (we'd only ordered one, but at most she'll charge me a little more because I specified "abundant," not a whole one) and a plate of salad for the "modest" price of 10 euros, which I hadn't even ordered. I specified the items I ordered and ate, and the lady replied that she had ordered two fried items even though I'd asked for one. Then I checked the receipt and found the salad I hadn't ordered. As is my custom, I paid, thanked her, and never returned, without a fuss.

28/10/2025: We regularly eat pizza from Angelo when we're in Naples. We often went there to pick up pizza when he had his pizzeria a few hundred meters away. We really like the pizza, the staff are always friendly, and the quality is very good.

24/02/2026: On a rainy July day, my fiancé and I wanted to sit down for dinner. They wanted to seat us at a table right next to the cashier. When we asked if they had a nicer table, they said we couldn't get service there. The owner is rude and problematic.
