28/06/2026: Unfortunately, my experience wasn't a positive one.
We chose this pizzeria because of the outdoor seating.
Once we were seated, they asked us if we wanted water, and then we were "inseparable" for about 30 minutes. After that, since no one brought us a menu to order, I had to ask for one.
After that, we were "invisible" again for another 20 minutes, until, tired of waiting like there was no tomorrow, I insisted on ordering.
Once we ordered, we waited another hour and a half 🤐.
After such a long wait, the pizza wasn't anything special either: heavy dough, half-raw sauce, flavorless mozzarella.
I don't know what else to say.

Special mention goes to the selection of flavors, including vegan/vegetarian options, and to some truly excellent local craft beers.

18/08/2026: I completely disagree with the negative review I just read a few weeks ago. Personally, I found our room spotless, the service excellent, and the staff truly kind and helpful. We ate here for a week, and the dishes were all delicious. The fritto misto was also delicious. The spaghetti alle veraci was the best we've ever tasted. I thank this wonderful family for making us feel at home; we'll definitely be back.

08/03/2026: I had a grilled fish (a plaice?). There were still a lot of bones in the fish. And the price was far too high: 30 euros. That's without the side dishes that are usually charged extra in Italy.
The dining room, under a kind of covered terrace, was clean but simple, so the ambiance doesn't justify the high price.

The pasta and pizzas were delicious. The setting was charming and intimate. We noticed there were many locals, which for us is a sign of quality. A lovely establishment that we highly recommend. A big thank you to Umberto, the star of the dining room… always smiling and full of helpful advice! The experience speaks for itself!
02/08/2026: Only reason I’m giving them 4 out of 5 for food is because some menu items were unavailable. Our last meal in Lago after spending 3 years here. House red, fabulous, steak with green peppercorns, amazing, best I’ve had in a while. We generally eat outside of Italian hours, so we had the restaurant to ourselves.

19/08/2026: We went to this restaurant on my birthday, and the food was delicious! The bruschetta was especially good! The pizza was excellent and light, and the entrecote for our chef friend was excellent and perfectly cooked. The owners, what can I say...they seemed like family 😊
