George's Restaurant In Napoli

From start to finish, the experience at George Restaurant was top notch. The setting and views are outstanding perched atop the Grand Hotel Parker’s with a wall of windows overlooking the Bay of Naples. Our server was extremely helpful when explaining the various tasting menus on offer. We opted for the 9-course “Progresso Mediterraneo” tasting menu (185 Euro p/p). Rather than coupling this with set wine pairings, I picked a nice bottle of Amarone della Valpolicella from their extensive bottle offerings. All of the courses highlighted some aspect of Neapolitan cuisine in rather unique preparations. Each course was well executed, well presented, well paced, and certainly exceptionally flavorful. This was a dining experience I’ll not soon forget. I would recommend booking in advance as the restaurant is small and will typically only have one seating per table.

Questa è la mia terza volta in questo ristorante. La prima da quando lo scorso novembre ha conquistato le due stelle Michelin. La prima volta a Napoli, per di più con uno chef partenopeo. Il posto è prestigioso, il panorama da favola, l'ambiente elegante, il personale gentile e colloquiale ma...il motivo per cui questa per me resta una cena da ricordare sta nel fatto che, quasi mai, riprovandoli, i piatti sono all'altezza dei ricordi...in questo caso però direi che: non solo lo sono ma sono anche migliori ... sono all'altezza dei desideri. Una cena qui veramente vale un viaggio.

Very elegant and evocative place, it certainly deserves the two Michelin stars. They made us sit in the private room from which we could see all of Naples surrounded by the splendid evening lights. The impeccable, highly professional service. Great place Yessss🎖🎖

It was a dream experience. The table right in front of the window gave us a magnificent view. Starting with the welcome and ending with the petit fuur, everything is designed to make the customer relax and feel at ease. The service was impeccable. Pampered without artifice with authenticity, respecting our times with great accuracy. One of the best experiences from this point of view for us. The cuisine fully convinced us, raw materials of the highest level and great technique. The dish I liked the most "sensations and perceptions of a buillabaisse", a beautiful dish of which I really enjoyed the construction at the table but above all very good. The extensive wine list with several pearls. On the white wine and bubbles proposals, given the cuisine is so interesting and creative, I would have liked to find a little more depth of vintages. The gift was really appreciated. The idea of ​​leaving the menu as a souvenir is excellent, as are the bookmarks that reflect the themes of the restaurant. In short, a 360 degree experience that we will carry in our hearts. Thank you!

Explosion and careful research of flavors and originality combined with the Neapolitan tradition of Campania. Impeccable service, what can I say, an experience worth trying

Esperienza sublime, carica di magia e complicità. Lo staff trasmette grande passione e ti fa sentire come a casa. Piatto preferito l'agnello di laticauda, ma la limonata a cosce aperte è una sorpresa pazzesca. Suggestive le ceramiche che supportano l'impiattamento degli antipasti, invenzione geniale quella del sangue di San Gennaro. Panorama stratosferico.

Siamo stati nel ristorante non stellato, l’esperienza non è stata positiva, a parte della splendida vista. Pochi piatti cari, banali, neanche particolarmente buoni. Pasta al sugo piccante a due bimbe di 6 e 8 anni, tavolini traballanti, carne troppo cotta. Una cacio e pepe non si trasforma mettendogli accanto due pezzi di tonno, il tutto con attesa di un’ora (pur non essendo affollato). Non consiglio

Eccezionale. Non ha delusa le mie aspettative anzi mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso in positivo. Servzio impeccabile e piatti eccellenti. Un plauso in particolare al tubetto con zuppa di pesce e alla limonata a coscie aperte per la ricercatezza e modernità dei piatti con un occhio sempre rivolto al passato. A tutto fa contorno una vista mozzafiato sul golfo di Napoli. Grande chef e grazie Giovanni e a tutto lo staff per averci coccolato durante tutta la serata.

Gli antipasti unici nel loro genere, il detto nella botte piccola si conserva il vino buono è esattamente il riassunto degli antipasti, bocconcini unici e ricchi di sapori , senza considerare i vari assaggi offerti dallo chef, gusti molto ricercati e raffinati, i primi si possono riassumere in un tripudio di sapori così come i secondi , serviti ed impiattati al tavolo in modo egregio, ed infine il dolce che è là ciliegina sulla torta di un percorso culinario studiato appositamente per far riscoprire a chi assaggia il gusto del mangiare Complimenti allo chef e a tutto lo staff.
