31/12/2025: A wonderful experience, one you'll fondly remember. The staff is truly kind and welcoming, making you feel immediately at ease. I chose the mixed seafood appetizer (salmon, tuna, shrimp, scampi, oysters, and sea urchin): top-quality ingredients, with the shrimp simply sumptuous. It's a shame about the sea urchin, however; it was a bit too salty and therefore less enjoyable than the rest. The paccheri with bergamot really deserve a special mention, a refined and well-executed dish. The only real disappointment is the portions, which are unfortunately rather small and leave a slight disappointment. The food prices are overall fair and offer a good quality/price ratio; the only disappointment is the €5 limoncello, which is decidedly excessive for what's on offer. Overall, a high-quality restaurant, with a few small flaws that, if addressed, would make it truly impeccable.

31/12/2025: Very nice fish oriented restaurant. The food was good, the portions were ok in size. Their "paccheri al bergamotto con pesto de pistachio" were the real highlight which deserves the additional praise. Service was friendly and warm. We liked a lot the decoration of the place. We recommend the reservation as the place looked like very popular among the locals.

La Signora del Vento is a family-run restaurant where everything speaks of passion, attention to detail, and authenticity. In the kitchen, Chef Antonella and her son Domenico create dishes that celebrate Calabrian tradition with a touch of creativity, while in the dining room, Renato, with professionalism and friendliness, guides guests on a journey of flavor, taking care of every detail of the service. We sampled the maltagliati with shrimp, clams, and zucchini: a fragrant, balanced dish rich in seafood. Next, came the amberjack with zucchini and the scent of orange; the freshest fish, perfectly cooked, and a combination of flavors that lingers in your memory. A special thanks also to Angela, kind and attentive, who made the evening even more enjoyable. A place where you feel welcomed right at home, with excellent cuisine and a warm, family atmosphere. La Signora del Vento is an unmissable stop for those who want to experience the sea even at the table, enjoying the splendid panorama of the Strait of Messina.

05/02/2026: Extraordinary dishes, textbook pizza, and illegal desserts!!! Enzo, who served us, is passionate and attentive to his work. We'll be back in the area for work, and it will remain our go-to place in the future.

03/03/2026: A very pleasant, uncomplicated place right by the sea. Good pizza, fritto misto, chocolate angel wings, and wine – all at reasonable prices. The service is friendly and relaxed; we felt truly welcome there.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

09/06/2025: The cured meats appetizer was truly excellent. The service was always impeccable. I enjoyed the pizza a little less because it didn't seem to be very salty, but that's certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cured meats. Unique in some respects in the area.

20/01/2026: I've been here a few times and the food has always been good. The pasta and fish dishes are generously portioned. The atmosphere is simple, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, but it's perfect for those who enjoy excellent Calabrian home cooking. Today I had very fresh octopus and potatoes and a plate of paccheri pasta with swordfish. Both the pasta and the sauce were excellent, and I'd commend the chef. Ample free parking inside the restaurant. Fair price. Highly recommended.

07/02/2026: We came here with the intention of eating pasta alla corte d'Assise. We weren't disappointed at all, on the contrary!! The pasta dish was delicious, balanced, and plentiful, but I assure you, you'll eat it all because it's truly delicious. Highly recommended.

06/03/2026: I went with friends in mid-February and we had a great time. The food never disappoints. The options are always good and plentiful. The wine is pleasant. But above all, we love the atmosphere: pleasant and welcoming, it encourages conversation and well-being. The price is fair. I recommend it.

23/02/2026: Beautiful and fun Italian pub. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Anyone interested in eating here should just know that food takes some time (45 minutes) and that you may need to follow up with staff about details on your order or drinks. I would not arrive here starving! That being said, it's a gem of a spot with some really tasty and affordable food and drink. And excellent live music on weekends!

16/09/2025: A beautiful B&B. But only for those who can climb stairs easily and have no problems. It's located in the center of town and only accessible on foot. Excellent breakfast, though the restaurant is closing in September. Fortunately, there are other restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended if you can walk well.
