09/06/2025: The cold cuts appetizer was really really great. The service was always impeccable. I liked the pizza a little less because I felt it wasn't very tasty but it was certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cold cuts. Unique in some respects in the area.

Il titolare è simpaticissimo, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Siamo andati con un gruppo di amici e siamo rimasti tutti super soddisfatti. Torneremo sicuramente!

16/09/2025: A beautiful B&B. But only for those who can climb stairs easily and have no problems. It's located in the center of town and only accessible on foot. Excellent breakfast, though the restaurant is closing in September. Fortunately, there are other restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended if you can walk well.

30/10/2025: Excellent meat and good service. It's attached to the butcher shop, so it's a bit small with limited space. Reservations are recommended as it's always busy.

15/10/2025: A fantastic place. A smiling team. Professionalism in every detail. Even when it's fully booked, you can have your order delivered to your table in a matter of seconds. Delicious pizzas, sandwiches, panini, and bruschetta. Delicious drinks. I recommend ordering the typical Italian Negroni. A real hit. Lots of local customers. The prices are amazing!

After many years, the Derby dello Strait returns: Come on Messina, but welcome our cousins, children of my origins and of that surname (with the FIUMARA di MURO license plate) of which I will always be proud!! 29/11/2025: It was my first time dining here. The place is gorgeous and welcoming. Decorated with objects found on fishing boats and swordfish. The chairs are sea blue. It's what I call a seaside restaurant, which Reggio Calabria truly is. Truly beautiful. The owner is very welcoming and attentive. The staff is very professional and attentive to everything. The menu is excellent, both for the quality of the food and the execution of the dishes. I recommend it and will definitely return.

19/11/2025: Terrible food, starting with the appetizer, a meatball that had a nauseating smell. Low-quality products. We had asked for two cuts of meat, one with shavings, arugula, and parmesan and the other with mushrooms. They arrived undercooked, and we weren't even asked what we preferred. The arugula and tomatoes were overcooked, so the meat also had an unpleasant flavor, and the mushrooms were slimy. Fried calamari was bitter and red in color (never seen anywhere else that color). The very unfriendly and annoyed waiters almost seemed to be doing us a favor. And finally, when we told one of them at the cashier (I assume he was also the owner) that nothing had been to our liking, he got offended and continued to argue. We will never return. High prices for such poor quality! We will never return!

10/12/2025: A 20-minute wait for four delicious takeaway pizzas at a very reasonable price. We thoroughly enjoyed them, well done!

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

23/11/2025: A well-maintained, spacious venue with plenty of seating, but it fills up quickly, so a reservation is a sure bet. The food is delicious, featuring plenty of local produce. The price is affordable.
