26/05/2024: Premettendo di non aver chiesto preventivamente il costo della rosticceria da asporto, ho acquistato 15 pezzi di arancini, 20 polpette di carne e 15 polpettine di melanzane, queste ultime di dimensioni davvero davvero piccole e non grandi come quelle di carne come ci era stato assicurato. Il costo affrontato è stato scandaloso, 132,50€. Da sconsigliare

27/05/2024: Traditional dishes prepared with experience and deduction. The appetizer with a platter of cured meats, beans, aubergines, various cheeses, peppers and potatoes is excellent and plentiful. The first and second courses are also ok. Family atmosphere, small place. Quad parking non-existent and quite inconvenient to reach (roads narrow enough to make maneuvering difficult). Prices more than accessible.

27/08/2024: Very bad experience. Clumsy and inexperienced staff, the waitress took 10 minutes to open a bottle of wine. We skipped the raw fish, luckily, otherwise we would certainly have come out with poisoning. Nothing special, for the first courses, but truly scary frying... with smelly, bleach-flavoured prawns. After demonstrating the problem, the waitress comes out saying that in the kitchen they assured him that the fish was fresh and that they would show us the invoice proving the purchase that day...... shocking rudeness. Given that, smelling the dish, the waitress herself makes a face of disgust and asks us to excuse her, because he didn't know what to do or what to say. One of the owners who found out about the incident didn't even bother to apologize or ask us if we had preferred something else. In the end, when we got up to go and pay, they even followed us from afar, for fear of leaving without paying the bill.........overall, a structure to avoid, there is much, much better , between courtesy, quality and price. Shocked to say the least.

04/08/2024: The owner is a great fan of F1 and in particular of the British driver Lewis Hamilton (if you are one too, a small discount could be given at the checkout 😉) the strong Bari accent is very homely. The evening was very pleasant, perhaps the only negative note was that I was playing Among Us with my companions at the table and they forced us to close the game, all in all nothing annoying but an experience definitely worth repeating 🤙🏻

15/08/2024: We stayed in mid-August with a fixed meat or fish menu option, 55/60 euros per person. As regards the structure and the swimming pool, nothing to say about it, except that for lunch we were ALL disappointed in the room both for the service and for the disorganization in the courses... we even witnessed scenes in which dishes of fish to those who had ordered meat (they were left on the table even if they were told no), so as to leave it without the dish at a table near us. I won't go on to say anything other than that lastly we spent almost the whole afternoon waiting for a second course (fried calamari and potatoes) which never arrived even though PRESENT IN THE FIXED MENU, a menu which seemed almost unknown to the waiter who insisted on bringing us the fruit directly without respecting the established menu order and above all PAID in advance.

15/08/2024: Our stay at Villa Ersilia was nothing short of spectacular. Modern, spacious and clean rooms. A real gem is the Doride di Locri suite, with particularly elegant furnishings, a canopy bed and a bathroom with fantastic marble. Due to its preciousness it is reserved for newlyweds who are ready to fulfill their dream of LOVE and we had the privilege of staying there before and after our wedding. With its combination of high-level services, from breakfast to impeccable cleanliness and daily linen change, to the exceptional restaurant, swimming pool and shuttle that takes guests to the beach, Villa Ersilia and all the staff made our stay truly relaxing and pleasant. Unforgettable. All the staff are attentive and courteous; we will never forget Ersilia and Vicky who were exceptional and wonderful, they welcomed and pampered us as if we had known each other all our lives. Vicky was available throughout the booking phase of the various rooms for our relatives, always ready to advise us and always available to accommodate all the changes that we communicated during the months before. Vicky and Ersilia met our every need as well as those of our family members (around 30 guests) making sure everyone's stay was as comfortable as possible. Thanks to its convenient location and excellent service, Villa Ersilia has become our future choice whenever we are in the area. It was our Love Nest. 30/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato con il secondo giro di tavolo perché prima era tutto pieno. Arrivati alle 21.30 come pattuito il tavolo era pronto. Servizio veloce, cortese e professionale. Buoni gli antipasti e ottime le pizze.

02/06/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in una giornata piena di gente, nonostante tutto, cibo di alta qualità, personale attento e gentile, portate rapide senza lunghe attese, ottimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

16/02/2024: Quando si dice "tutto fumo e niente arrosto". Ecco, questa è la definizione che meglio si adatta a questa struttura. Una preparazione alla serata in questione che neanche al Quirinale per i pranzi di Stato utilizzano. Ad un certo punto ci è stata anche paventata l'eventualità di non poter invitare uno degli ospiti perché c'era la possibilità (poi fortunatamente non confermata) che lo stesso fosse allergico al pomodoro. E quindi, invece di trovare una soluzione alternativa, ci è stato detto che "non sarebbe stato possibile accettare la prenotazione" per questa persona...La serata poi si è svolta in modo tragicomico con un andamento...decrescente: buffet di antipasti decente, ma dalla dubbia qualità per alcune delle portate. Primo piatto direi non immangiabile, ma incommestibile a causa dell'eccessivo sale presente e comunque dalla cattiva modalità di preparazione. Rimandato in cucina da tutti gli ospiti. "Buffet" dei dolci...senza parole: quantità della pasticceria secca proporzionata per circa 10 persone (noi eravamo 40). Questi solitari dolci secchi, anche dalla dubbia freschezza, che navigavano sparsi in piatti ed alzatine semivuoti. Due cheescake che, in teoria, devano essere al cioccolato, ma che il cioccolato lo avevano visto da lontano in quanto era presente solo al di sopra della torta sotto forma di scaglie sparse. Il sapore della cheescake...non pervenuto. Anche questa rifiutata da praticamente tutti gli ospiti. Ma la parte migliore è stata il pagamento!! Noi, ingenuamente, credevamo che i gestori, rendendosi conto che la serata, dal punto di vista culinario, non era stata proprio perfetta (così come da noi sottolineato durante tutta la durata dell'evento, ma al cameriere, perché i gestori erano...invisibili), pensavamo che ci sarebbe stato offerto un congruo sconto. Invece ci siamo trovati coinvolti in una trattativa...tipo mercato, che naturalmente abbiamo rifiutato, ritrovandoci uno sconto di ben circa 5 euro a persona! Ultime due annotazioni di folklore: per circa 40 persone era presente un solo cameriere ed il cuoco che ha preparato la cena (anzi "l'executive chef" come definito dai proprietari) non era lo stesso col quale avevamo stabilito il menù. Che dire, consigliamo di evitare accuratamente questo posto.

13/02/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato il diciottesimo compleanno di nostro figlio in questo locale, purtroppo. Il buffet rustico incompleto e senza infamia e senza lode. Dopo circa un’ora e mezza di attesa e varie sollecitazioni al cameriere, ci viene servito un risotto salatissimo e immangiabile. Con le scuse della cucina il riso al sale viene sostituito con dei paccheri conditi con una salsa annacquata e pezzi di cipolla… altrettanto immangiabili. Velo pietoso sui dolci, mousse squagliate e torte al formaggio insapori. I proprietari sono comparsi in sala solo quando andava saldato il conto, che è stato ritoccato in modo risibile. Vivamente sconsigliato
