28/05/2025: High prices, good food but slow service. The mixed seafood appetizer disappointed me for the three mussels au gratin where the mollusc inside was small, dry and insignificant, really sad. Leaving after spending 38 euros per person and still being hungry.. come on..

Furthermore, I ate the best fried gnocco of my life here....and I live near Modena....that's it. Roberto da Mantua (and Catanzaro my second homeland ❤️)

24/05/2025: Very nice location, excellent service! Kind and competent waiting staff! But the cuisine is something horrible! I order a chitarra all'astice, a lobster arrives that was definitely defrosted at the moment, boiled very badly. The pasta served next to the lobster was completely disconnected. It seemed like spaghetti with garlic and oil that also came out badly! Very low quality and high prices! Absolutely not recommended!

23/04/2025: Locale particolare, ben curato nei dettagli, suggestivo, da un senso di serenità ed eleganza nello stessi tempo. Piatti eccellenti, pesce freschissimo cucinato con stile e particolarità. Servizio impeccabile, molto presenti e sempre pronti ad accontentare il cliente. Unico neo un po' angusto il percorso stradale x arrivare al locale essendo in un piccolo borgo di Soverato Superiore.

17/05/2025: Very friendly staff, great wood oven baked pizza, a traditional stop for my family. In the photo my favourite pizza, the ‘cornetto di bufala’, but the other were great too: cappello di Totó with extra buffalo bocconcini, Marinara, and Norma (with roasted aubergines). Thanks guys for showing my son your ‘magic’ oven :) looking forward to seeing you again soon!

18/04/2025: Ero al centro commerciale per fare acquisti e abbiamo pranzato con mio figlio e mia mamma alla Bufala, nonostante ci fossimo prima fermati in un ristorante difronte (InPrimis), ma dove, dopo esser stati seduti 35min e chiedendo ripetutamente di poter ordinare, il personale giocava al bancone, di spalle alla sala, senza curarsi dei clienti seduti. Quindi mi sono alzata e sono andata difronte, #LA BUFALA. Personale gentile, cortese, divertente, Vincenzo, Giuseppe e tutti gli altri, ma soprattutto i ragazzi erano molto attenti e veloci, in quanto al pranzo è stato molto gradito, ottima qualità e bontà, anche il bambino ha trovato la sua semplicissima pasta al pomodoro buona, tanto da farci scarpetta😍 Sicuramente sarà la tappa dei prossimi acquisti. Complimenti a tutti ❤️❤️❤️

18/05/2025: pleasantly surprised, given the old negative reviews. With the new management the place seems comfortable with a family atmosphere. the room is well kept, the meat is on display in the fridge in the room. the staff is extremely helpful (they, at my request, "invented" a table to accommodate me) good food for quality and price. discreet and politely engaging piano bar. outdoor tables. I recommend it for those who want to spend a carefree evening. small flaws, which I am sure will disappear with time.

06/04/2025: Locale destinato alla chiusura per me. Le portate fredde e le bibite calde, sicuramente cosa al quanto probabile antipasti preparati dalla mattina. La gestione e sicuramente stata affidata a persone incompetenti nel settore.

21/09/2024: We left the hotel after two nights although we had booked five nights. We booked via booking.com, but the offerings/infrastructure of the hotel listed there were fakse, not available or broken. To be precise: 2 pools stated but one closed, the other did not appear clean to us, sauna = not available, whirlpool = not available, breakfast buffet = not available instead we were offered to take it in our room, we were 2 persoms the room had 1 chair no table … etc etc etc. the hotel said it wasn’t very booked, nevertheless we became a room with view to highway. We asked about all the pitfalls and wrong claims on website/booking.com but there was not a minimal concession by the hotel. They did not even offered us a room change to park view. Booking.com wasn’t helpful either, as long-term customers we are very disappointed with their services and help. Last but not least, the pictures of the hotel are from a smaller old part (old villa) that didn’t seem open when we were there. We were in bigger new part of the hotel with charme of the 1990s. We left earlier, and are super disappointed and feel highl irritated by the false information on booking.com and hotel website and the totally non-service or customer focus of hotel management. We would never (!) book again.

25/04/2025: Sono tornato dopo la ristrutturazione e devo dire che il locale è davvero bello, curato nei dettagli, moderno ma accogliente. Il forno a vista per le pizze è una chicca, così come il frigo con la carne in bella mostra e la camera dei vini super fornita. Ma soprattutto: si mangia bene. Carne e pesce di qualità, cotture perfette, sapori semplici ma centrati. Un bel mix tra stile e sostanza. Complimenti al capo!!

21/04/2025: Pasquetta da dimenticare! Seduti al tavolo alle 13,30 e ordinato sia primi che secondi di pesce, alle 15,30 avevano portato solo un piattino di patatine e acqua minerale. Abbiamo chiesto più volte delle spiegazioni ma non ne abbiamo avute e siamo andati via digiuni. Non torneremo mai più!

01/05/2025: We had lunch at this seaside restaurant. The food, all based on fish, was really excellent: fresh, well cooked and served with care. The only negative note was the setup: our table was in full sun and there was not enough coverage. A small improvement on this aspect would make the experience perfect!

29/04/2025: Terrible experience, gnocchi with porcini mushrooms made very badly and left completely on the plate!! No explanation or action taken after our complaints, if they mistake you for tourists, even if you are just returning to your land to pay homage to the dead in the cemetery, they will pluck you like a chicken and beat you up good! Absolutely to be avoided but personally I will return soon to check if there are improvements, so as to be able to give the place the chance to recover and receive a better review. Louis

24/08/2024: Summer 2024, 5 days in Calabria and twice at the Bikini lido, discovered by chance and then judged as the best. Private parking, clean beach, umbrellas far from each other, 4 showers available. And on a beautiful restaurant and bar terrace where we ate very well. Everyone is kind, friendly and helpful. A nice memory of our holiday.

17/08/2024: Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati benissimo. Area parcheggio limitrofa al lido e adiacente il lungomare di Soverato, doccia calda e fredda con timer a gettoni, struttura facilmente accessibile anche per chi ha disabilità motorie, fontanella per sciacquare i piedi, lettini e sdraio confortevoli, tavoli ben disposti area ristorante e bar, bagni forse piccoli ma comunque buoni, il personale è stato disponibile nei nostri confronti e la cucina a base di pesce con menù fisso ci ha soddisfatto sostanzialmente, buono anche il menù baby. È stata riassumendo una buona soluzione per un Ferragosto a mare in relax, lo consiglio sicuramente su Soverato.
