11/02/2024: I was invited to a birthday party on a quiet evening... with my friends we went out for a cigarette. Upon returning the bouncers with an arrogant tone won't let my friends in anymore, you pay and you also have to meet outside the door.... I believe that embarrassing things happen then... we need a little more humility in life...

12/03/2024: Posto molto rustico e carino, in una grotta. Lo chef è sicuramene al di sopra della media. Tradizione mantenuta, ma il tutto con dei tocchi di classe inaspettati.

04/02/2024: Ristorante collocato in una bellissima grotta nei sassi di Matera, piuttosto rustico ma accogliente, il personale di servizio è stato molto cortese e sollecito. Le pietanze sono quelle della tradizione, buoni il vino della casa e il tris di primi, ottima la tagliata. Prezzo giusto.

23/01/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante il 21 gennaio durate un piccolo soggiorno a Matera. Locale molto intimo pochi posti a sedere ma cucina a dir poco fantastica. Abbiamo gustato i loro antipasto uno più buono dell altro e poi carne di Podologa alla brace e costine di agnello in padella. Tutto veramente buono e di qualità. Ci ritorneremo presto

Unpleasant surprise at the checkout with prices far higher than the quality offered. The coffee, which in most restaurants is offered by the manager, here is paid handsomely at prices charged in the squares of the most famous cities. No attention on the total to repay the shortcomings of the lunch

28/11/2023: Excellent restaurant with a very nice and welcoming location, large garden with lots of greenery and panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The food is excellent and plentiful, the food is very good. The staff is very kind and professional, available for any need. The price is very good.

14/01/2024: Very nice and characteristic room created in the stones, nice experience. Sleeping among the rocks. Studio apartment also equipped with all kitchen accessories, fridge, oven, etc. Very kind and welcoming owner and staff. Good breakfast with different types of homemade desserts and many other sweet and savory options. Thank you. I would only remove the hydromassage tub very slippery, I would just use a nice shower. x . the rest is fine. thanks again.

13/01/2024: Structure: very nice hotel, with large and well-furnished rooms, perhaps a little dated, well heated, equipped with everything you need: fridge, stove, toiletries, towels, extra pillow, etc. The rooms are carved into the stone. I personally haven't encountered the damp smell complained about in many reviews: I'd say it's the smell of tuff, but it's also normal, being in a Sasso. However it's not annoying, after a while you can't even hear it anymore. Location: the hotel is very central, it is a little elevated, but by going down in two minutes you reach the main road, so an excellent location. Breakfast: it is equipped with homemade desserts and a savory part, which is very rich, and you can also request anything at the bar. Truly exceptional. Service: the owner is nice, even if he can seem a bit grumpy, and the guy at the reception/bar is also very helpful. We had a problem and they solved it for us late at night, so availability is 24 hours a day. Overall, I recommend this property.

06/03/2024: Ci siamo imbattuti in questa trattoria consigliata da un noto produttore di vino della zona, quotata abbastanza bene su TripAdvisor, forse si mangerà bene ma non lo sapremo mai, perché appena siamo entrati uno dei gestori, con un fare quasi medievale ci ha letteralmente cacciato fuori dicendo che a mezzogiorno dovevano mangiare loro del personale, una cafoneria unica, che tra virgolette Google porta che è aperto dalle 12 in poi, rimasti delusi dall esperienza abbiamo deciso di spostarci verso venosa, il paese confinante, bene così ,perché abbiamo mangiato divinamente in uno ristoranti più rinomati della zona, che non sto qui a farvi il nome per correttezza, non facendomi capace di come sia possibile che questa esperienza sia capitata solo a noi, abbiamo poi notato che in altre recensioni è successa la stessa cosa, incompetenza totale almeno sull accoglienza del cliente, il cuoco non vi saprei dire, a mai più!!!

09/01/2024: What I prefer about this restaurant are definitely the fish-based dishes, which are truly excellent. The appetizers and pizza aren't bad either. Often in the summer they offer musical and/or dance evenings in the small, closed square (and this is an advantage for those with children) in front of the venue. The service perhaps deserves more attention, while prices have increased significantly in recent years.
