15/06/2025: My expectations were very high seeing the various advertisements on social media, as soon as we arrived we were told that the crudité would be missing scampi, shrimp, scallops and oysters and replaced with other (excessive) carpaccio cut questionably. The swordfish Livorno style was a swordfish sautéed in a pan with tomatoes absolutely anonymous, very disappointed.

14/10/2025: Republic in Gallarate offers a different take on the traditional aperitivo. For €11, you can get a cocktail plus a mixed platter with sushi. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming (I'd improve the lighting), perfect for an evening with friends. They also offer à la carte dishes; the grilled spaghetti is very good. The service is courteous and professional, and the prices are average. For those looking for a different aperitivo with a bit of sushi to nibble on, Republic in Gallarate is definitely a recommended and original choice!

06/10/2025: Historically a restaurant for truck drivers, it's now run by Chinese, and remains a popular eatery, frequented primarily by workers and seniors. It also offers a fixed menu priced at €11 for lunch and €12.50 for dinner, which includes a choice of four options: a first course, a second course, a side dish, water, wine, and coffee. The quality isn't exceptional, but it's good, and the portions are generous. The value for money is more than excellent. Of course, the atmosphere is what it is.

18/10/2025: Curious to see if they're changing management and changing the business from a lounge bar to a pizzeria. Crispy pizza, thin but flavorful, tasty. If you're looking for a classic pizza with a thick, soft crust, you're in the wrong place. Here you'll find a kind of crispy pizza, but as mentioned, topped with flavorful ingredients. I tried the diavola, made with spicy salami and ndjua instead, not bad. The location is interesting, airy, and spacious. It almost feels like being in a library with a cute, colorful counter inside. In my opinion, softer lighting would make everything more romantic and informal. The prices aren't exactly cheap: 2 pizzas, 1 coffee, 1 dessert, 2 beers... €50, a little less, I would have been much more satisfied. Still, it's a place worth visiting if you want to try something different from the usual pizza and still be full. The draft beer is good. Parking is easy to find.

04/08/2025: My experience at this place was quite disappointing. I ordered a Sex on the Beach, but the drink I was served didn't look like what I'd ordered at all, neither in appearance nor in ingredients: it seemed to be missing the peach and cranberry juice. The service was rushed and rude; I was asked to pay immediately, before even tasting the cocktail. Considering the price was €16, I expected much better quality and service. This isn't the kind of welcome you'd expect. I hope they can improve both the drink preparation and the customer service. The real Sex on the Beach is made with specific ingredients to achieve its fruity flavor and distinctive color. The classic recipe Vodka Peach liqueur Orange juice Cranberry juice Preparation: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the vodka, peach liqueur, and orange juice. Finally, add the cranberry juice, which settles to the bottom, creating the cocktail's signature hazy effect. The drink is usually garnished with an orange slice or a cherry. Got it?

29/09/2025: Birthday party...poor service, we ordered ourselves, non-existent organization and price too high for what we were given. Terrible experience.

29/09/2025: I went to a birthday party last night, and despite the arrangements made with the owner, the service was truly terrible: a measly plate of squares... ini... ini... focaccia for so many people, and a watered-down cocktail. The price paid by the birthday boy didn't match expectations. I wouldn't recommend it for a birthday party. Ample parking... if you can find one... After a lot of driving around, I put the car in the parking lot.

23/10/2025: The girls are very friendly and helpful. I don't know much about prices, but the products are excellent. I've never had any problems. P.S. The puff pastry pizzas are the best in Lombardy.

14/10/2025: I bought some delicious fruit pastries and cannoncini, and the sfogliatelle with white chocolate, which we thought was creamy, were a bit too sweet. There are other pastries with white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and Nutella. A pastry shop perfect for chocolate and Nutella lovers. The place is very nice, and the staff is friendly.

18/09/2025: The place is well-maintained, but the staff is rude, impolite, and superficial. To sit down, you have to order at least one coffee, which is also of terrible quality. Despite being a group of 15 people, at least half of whom were drinking, we had to leave because some of us wanted something else based on their budget. The baristas didn't take kindly to this and kicked us out. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

21/08/2025: Terrible pizza!!!!!!!!!! Anything but pizza!!!!! Disgusting While waiting for the pizza, we had two HOT spritzes with no ice and nothing at all—a disgrace!

02/08/2025: Our experience: poorly maintained, unreasonable prices. My advice is to clean it up a bit and then Lando's Sugar is hilarious 🙂‍↕️ the Grana cheese had a pungent smell😌

24/10/2025: We stopped on our way back from vacation for a quick dinner. We had 300 km to get home. 45 minutes for three simple menus and 15 minutes for two coffees at the counter. Never again

22/10/2025: It doesn't even deserve one star. 20 minutes for a Happy Milly. What a disappointment. Ordered at 4pm and arrived at 4.20pm.
