Pizzeria Crocca - Gallarate In Gallarate

Thin and light pizza. The atmosphere is run by young, friendly people. Unfortunately, lately, before ordering, the waitress comes over and says something's missing from the menu, mentioning, coincidentally, that they were very busy the night before. The crazy thing is that yesterday they were missing the cooked ham! Then there's the desserts: €7 (not homemade!) for a chocolate cake that (probably warmed up in the microwave) was a flattened disk on the plate, 1 cm thick. It's a shame because I've always thought their pizza was good, but lately it's often empty. People pay for quality. Here, unfortunately, that's no longer the case.

I was there last Sunday and I love this restaurant's pizza. It was truly delicious: thin (just how I like it), crispy, light, and made with quality ingredients. Nothing to complain about the food. It's a shame the same can't be said for the service, specifically the courtesy of the waitress. She was annoyed to say the least. While taking my order, she rolled her eyes at a very trivial request. She was also shocked when, during the evening, a couple arrived and were seated next to another occupied table. They asked if they could sit a little further apart for a more intimate experience, and the answer was, "No, because I'm changing the menu mats." (The place was completely empty.) The customers took their orders and left. I love this pizza, so I'll be back, hoping not to find the same waitress!

Perhaps we had higher expectations. The place was a bit chilly, but the service was adjusted to the temperature. Pizzas were served on cold plates (with the place almost empty). The vegan pizza, I'd say, was unappetizing; it was freezing cold. Perhaps a little more attention to service and a little more explanation of the ingredients used would be appreciated.

Roman-style pizza, crunchy, well-cooked, and well-leavened. Recommended for those who love this square type of pizza.

Good quality pizza, but nothing special. Calling it pizza is a bit of a stretch; the thickness is too thin, you can't even feel it in your mouth, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The place is nice, though.

Curious to see if they're changing management and changing the business from a lounge bar to a pizzeria. Crispy pizza, thin but flavorful, tasty. If you're looking for a classic pizza with a thick, soft crust, you're in the wrong place. Here you'll find a kind of crispy pizza, but as mentioned, topped with flavorful ingredients. I tried the diavola, made with spicy salami and ndjua instead, not bad. The location is interesting, airy, and spacious. It almost feels like being in a library with a cute, colorful counter inside. In my opinion, softer lighting would make everything more romantic and informal. The prices aren't exactly cheap: 2 pizzas, 1 coffee, 1 dessert, 2 beers... €50, a little less, I would have been much more satisfied. Still, it's a place worth visiting if you want to try something different from the usual pizza and still be full. The draft beer is good. Parking is easy to find.

Welcoming location, excellent service, excellent food, reasonable price

The pizza was good, but I didn't like the crust; it was hard to chew around the edges. Overall, it was tasty; finally, it wasn't your typical Neapolitan pizza. Thin and crispy.
