10/03/2025: The historic Borgoleto group of Quattro Castella visiting the wonderful Benedictine complex had the pleasure of having lunch in this restaurant, finding delicious food in a very clean environment and kindness from all the staff. Congratulations to the chef and the lady who spoiled us for dessert with a good zabaglione.
Super recommend and we will return also for the excellent price.
All 21 people were super happy and none had dinner in the evening.
I forgot, I've never eaten such unique mustards.
06/03/2025: Excellent well-kept restaurant with typical Mantuan cuisine in the center of S. Benedetto Po. I went in for a quick lunch because I was passing by on my bicycle. The sage tortelli were very good as were the macaroni with asparagus and walnut cream. Everything cooked in a homemade and genuine way. Nice place, informal and friendly service. We'll be back!!!

07/03/2025: Welcomed with a bruschettina starter. Tigelle and gnocco delicious and very digestible. The accompanying sauces were different from the "usual" and very appetizing. Generous portions and very good cold cuts. Low price compared to the quality of the food. I'll be back soon and advertise.
25/02/2025: We went for the first time on recommendation and had a great meal. Classic proposals from the Mantua area but also original and tasty ravioli. For example, I ate blueberry ravioli with mushrooms and bacon, I really liked it. Super tigelle and fried dumplings!

25/01/2025: The beer is excellent, the food too and the managers are top notch. The "flavor" of the 80s/90s breweries run by good guys. Lots of seating outside and inside. Highly recommended.
13/01/2025: Do you like old school pubs? Are you a lover of rock, beer and hamburgers? Perfect! You are in the right place. Walter, the troublemaker, is always present and attentive to customer needs. The only flaw, in my humble opinion, is the summer: a few plants and 3 or 4 umbrellas would change everything.

12/03/2025: Decent, but not unforgettable.
Work menu at 15 euros. Fair variety and fair quality. Friendly staff and pleasant place. However, I don't like seasonings measured at the source. There is no parmesan on the table (they ask verbally and put it directly on the plate in the kitchen), while oil and vinegar are delivered in 1 meager micro-portion in a bag, of COVID memory. If you want a little more cheese on your pasta or a little more oil on your salad, you have to ask. Which obviously I don't like. So so..
03/03/2025: Unfortunately I happened upon it in the late afternoon and the kitchen is only open for lunch but the very kind girl at the bar told me that I could get a sandwich or some small wraps so I didn't have to go without food. 😂
I hope to return once for lunch. Large parking lot.

23/02/2025: Typical old tavern. Truly excellent food that catapults you into memories of family lunches. Traditional foods from the past. Excellent service that recommends every type of wine for each course. Try it to believe it.
18/01/2025: A slightly out of the way tavern found by chance on the return journey from a skiing holiday. Particular place that has its own charm, punctual and courteous service and good food. A good find.

12/02/2025: ... for me a special event, dinner with and among friends since I was a teenager ... but still a truly equally special place ... very characteristic and fascinating location on the river bank in an environment furnished with care and taste ... very welcoming and at the same time professional staff who left nothing to chance and dishes of excellent workmanship and quality ... I will be back!!! ...
02/02/2025: Wonderful surprise, with the new management. Renovated location, excellent food, service and new setting. We needed it. I recommend the roast guinea fowl, sublime. Well done, well done. We will be back

23/02/2025: Very nice place, in the town centre, even if not clearly visible (perhaps an external sign or blackboard to recognize it would be better in my opinion). The interior is large, a classic pub, welcoming, like those who manage it. They offer pizza,sandwiches or some dishes. My sandwich was excellent as was the pizza, light and well seasoned
22/02/2025: The burgers are special and very good. Nice place and very friendly staff. Once a year away from Modena with our team we stop for post-match dinner in this place which awaits us despite the time which would be beyond their closing time. The burgers are delicious!

19/01/2025: Unfortunately the expectations were positive but unfortunately the result was disappointing, ordered gnocco and tigelle, really small portions, really non-existent cheeses and a plate of really poorly assorted cured meats, and then they say the Ligurian ones, very high prices, for the quality and quantity, incredible they charged 3 euros for the cover charge, a measly breadstick, to my cousin who came later to eat only a dessert, what can I say, a disappointment, perhaps the view will be beautiful, but when you eat and then you pay the view is not enough
19/01/2025: Andata con mio marito prendendo 1 porzione di gnocco e tigelle con tanto di salumi e formaggi (per modo di dire) perché erano 2 misere fettine di ogni cosa e con delle ciotoline ine ine di formaggi che ci voleva il binocolo per vederle....abbiamo richiesto solo 1 porzione di gnocco e ancora un tagliere di salumi e formaggi, arrivano con tigelle ( non chieste) e il gnocco e i salumi senza i formaggi. Insomma servizio pessimo senza contare che c'erano pochissimi tavoli quindi non potevano andare in confusione. Arriva una terza persona per il dolce, ci hanno aggiunto un coperto in più, solo per mangiare un dolce. Totale 66.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mai più!

23/02/2025: Excellent cuisine, simple traditional dishes very well prepared. Clean place, excellent service. First choice cured meats, homemade pumpkin tortelli, very tasty. Traditional carnival chatter and desserts that melt in your mouth. Really good
08/02/2025: I love it because it is a small, rustic, familiar place, with a nice convivial atmosphere and all the taste of simple, home-made, genuine cuisine. Short and therefore winning menu, which offers local raw materials.

06/10/2024: Not just an ice cream shop, an excellent place for aperitifs. We found ourselves here by chance on a Sunday morning. If possible I would definitely come back here

20/02/2025: Di tanto in tanto amo portarmi a San Benedetto Po ( San Benedetto Polirone), memore sempre della sua ricca storia e di cui alla gloriosa abbazia. In zona si trovano ameni ristorantini, come questo che sorge proprio a due passi dall’insigne basilica. Ristorante e pizzeria dalla atmosfera calda e tranquilla. Personale assai gentile, menù ampiamente conforme alla tradizione locale. Sosta nel complesso appagante. La quarta stella alla prossima visita.
06/01/2025: Cibo squisito ( tutti i piatti ) , personale cortese , ambiente caldo , pulizia migliorabile , coperto troppo caro . Ci sono tornato più volte perché la qualità della materia prima è eccellente , vino non apprezzato ma cmq a basso costo , peccato assenza menù a degustazione. Pizze non provate
