15/02/2026: A dated, unpretentious place. The food isn't bad, but be careful with the portions. If two people order a fillet steak, you can't get one a large portion and the other a much smaller one for the same price. One positive note, however, is the service; the girls and the owner are truly lovely, both in their manners and their helpfulness.

27/07/2025: Era da tempo che non recensivo un ristorante. Perché ne aspettavo uno che mi regalasse emozioni. Materie prime ricercate di alto livello col gestore che ne è  in continua ricerca anche di nuove per amore del lavoro che fa. Preparazioni della tradizione che coccolano il palato ed entusiasmano. Un gestore a cui brillano gli occhi quando ti racconta la storia di un piatto della sua famiglia così come quando racconta della continua ricerca di nuove materie prime; lo so..l ho già detto ma lo voglio ripetere. Davvero solo peccato che lo abbia scoperto solo ora .

30/06/2025: Categoria: Ristorante Italiano Trovato per: Guida Slow Food (@) Locale storico in un paesino della campagna cremonese, dall’esterno l’aspetto è vetusto e anonimo ma all’interno al contrario l’atmosfera è molto calda e accogliente, da bella trattoria di una volta, con tavoli in legno e foto alle pareti. Di antipasto abbiamo preso salumi misti, ovviamente locali data la zona, e burrata di bufala prodotta anch’essa da un’azienda nei dintorni, tutto di buona qualità. Come primi dei rigatoni al ragù di bue vecchio molto saporiti e il sorbir di marubini, davvero eccezionali (sia per la pasta sottile che per il ripieno) e il brodo era uno dei più buoni e ricchi che abbia mai assaggiato. Di secondo punta di scottona arrosto con provolone dolce, molto buona anche se le fette di carne erano un po’ troppo sottili, e un altrettanto valido filetto di maiale. Ottime le patate di contorno. Di altissimo livello anche i dolci: zuppa inglese “alla mantovana” e sbrisolona con zabaione. Buona carta dei vini, non estremamente ampia ma con etichette di grande qualità e ricarichi onestissimi (l’oste ci ha detto che c’erano anche vari fuori carta, ma non abbiamo approfondito). Servizio molto cordiale e caloroso, sia l’oste di cui si percepisce la passione sia la giovane cameriera. Siamo andati lunghi col dolce e le grappe e l’oste ci ha invitato a trattenerci nel cortiletto interno, ci ha offerto un paio di calici di bolla e abbiamo passato un’ora piacevolissima chiacchierando di vino, cibo, ristorazione e vita, quelle esperienze che non hanno prezzo. Conto ok, come dicevo i ricarichi sul vino sono onestissimi, sui piatti (soprattutto antipasti e secondi viste anche le porzioni) ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di meno.

21/02/2026: The breakfast was top-notch; the croissants are from a bakery, you can see and taste it. The aperitif was a sore point: I went there recently and was disappointed. Taralli and chips weren't even taken out of their bags, just sitting in little bowls, and when we'd finished drinking and eating the little they'd brought us, the lady came over and asked if we wanted tramezzini. So at this bar, the idea of ​​an aperitif is small pieces of bread with a slice of salami on top, taralli and chips, olives, and tramezzini that arrive late. I was really disappointed. I'll only be back for breakfast.

03/02/2026: A traditional trattoria with tables for two. Clean place. Friendly staff. Good food and generous portions. More than fair prices. Ideal for workers but also for people passing by.

24/12/2025: Excellent trattoria, tasty dishes, and a good selection on the business menu. Beautiful venue with a large veranda and garden. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the slow service (at least the day I went). Still, highly recommended.
