04/03/2026: After finding out our lunch plans wouldn't happen, we stumbled upon Ristorante Carillon on our bus ride back up to Bellagio. We didn't get the memo that many places would be closed in the Bellagio area (or just general Lake Como for that matter) in late February 2026. But if that didn't happen, we wouldn't have had one of the best meals on our 2.5 week trip to Italy.
We ordered 2 portions of the perch with risotto and it was HEAVENLY. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked, making every bite enjoyable.I had never had perch prior to this trip, and there was a huge chance that I wouldn't like it. Nonetheless, that did not happen and it was one of my favorites on this trip.
Service was great. Waiters were kind and friendly. Ambiance was amazing. We had a view of the lake and did not complain.
This place is more on the pricey side, but is definitely worth checking out!

11/10/2025: This hotel is not as advertised. There is no air conditioning in the offseason. If known prior to booking I would have made reservations at a different accommodation.
However this was not communicated in person or online. Our room was at 26 degrees Celsius (79 Fahrenheit) in October which is not acceptable with no circulating air.
I placed my complaint with that staff and they assure this would be corrected. However it was not. We were told to open the window (that does not fully open) and to use the fan and that most guests prefer 23 degrees Celsius which is not what it is set at.
I will be requesting a full refund due to the fact that there is no air conditioning available during the off season despite advertised amenities.
For an accommodation located at the “pearl of the lake” I expected more. Especially considering the price.
Save you efforts and book elsewhere.

14/03/2026: Perhaps not the most refined Italian food, but they certainly make the best of it here. If you have a sweet tooth or love American food, then you have come to the right place. The food is prepared right in front of you. Very nice and helpful staff. You may love it or hate it, but five stars are well deserved.

Authentic, genuine, affordable, and Italian...
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
28/12/2025: Good service and a very cozy place. It’s definitely in a touristy area, so expect tourist prices; quite high compared to nearby areas with less tourist traffic.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

If you come to Bellagio, don't go to the restaurants on the waterfront; come here—you'll truly be pleasantly surprised!!!

17/03/2026: Its the first real restaurant you see on the waterfront and after some terrible service in COMO (to the point where I left) I have to say was quite staggered by the speed and quality of the service. Easily the best service I have had in a long time and the place was booming turning around most customers in just over 30mins.
Food was great but I wish id know the speed and quality of the service and I would of picked a more substantial meal. I had to endure some beautiful looking food come out of the kitchen whilst we ate some very good Pizza and ice cream (which was great but nothing like the steak or king prawn dishes we saw)
