11/10/2025: This hotel is not as advertised. There is no air conditioning in the offseason. If known prior to booking I would have made reservations at a different accommodation. However this was not communicated in person or online. Our room was at 26 degrees Celsius (79 Fahrenheit) in October which is not acceptable with no circulating air. I placed my complaint with that staff and they assure this would be corrected. However it was not. We were told to open the window (that does not fully open) and to use the fan and that most guests prefer 23 degrees Celsius which is not what it is set at. I will be requesting a full refund due to the fact that there is no air conditioning available during the off season despite advertised amenities. For an accommodation located at the “pearl of the lake” I expected more. Especially considering the price. Save you efforts and book elsewhere.

03/11/2025: Lovely pizza, shame about the side of sarcasm. When I asked if my daughter’s veggie pizza could have its own box (she’s eight, bless and she is newly veggie so we are still finding our way with it), the waitress taking payment reacted as though I’d requested a bespoke NASA-grade container. Eye rolls, sigh, sarcastic laugh — the full performance. Perhaps they should add “Drama” to the menu. She had a similar reaction to a panicked lady who had lost her phone before us which was sad to witness. She comes across as very unkind. There is just no need for it. … in response to your reply, you’re colleague acted like a child! Simply no need to carry on the way she did. And yourself when separating it into separate portions, oh the drama! Instead of apologising you go onto justify the way you behave by stating that you have served rude people in the past. We were not rude. And yes I appreciate that it was “contaminated” as you say but all your “veggie” food was contaminated anyway as you were cross contaminating all of your utensils across all of the food (I watched you do it), I wasn’t complaining about this just asking for a separate box to keep my daughter happy so that she would actually eat it, Yes I know that’s not ideal but our options were limited.… unfortunately she couldn’t eat it anyhow as your ridiculous over the top reaction to the request made her feel anxious it put her off her food. Enough of your passive aggressive responses to people complaints on here. You literally dig your hole deeper with each comment (fake vegans/ fake allergies) It’s quite obvious you don’t rely on repeat business! JUST DO BETTER AND BE KINDER - it’s all the rage don’t you know! Your additional response only proves my point. I asked for an extra tray — nothing dramatic — yet YOU chose to make a scene and upset my daughter in the process. It really is that simple. Don’t try to deflect or question my parenting; just own your behaviour. Spare me the “I’ve dealt with rude customers before” narrative — it’s not relevant, and certainly not an excuse. We spent 20 euros. I think that comfortably covers the cost of two pieces of cardboard packaging without the attitude. And, for the record, vegetarianism wasn’t even mentioned until you refused the extra tray. You were placing meat pizza on the same metal tray as the vegetarian one, so let’s not pretend your café operates under any kind of “strict vegetarian” policy. It doesn’t. I do my best to support my daughter’s food choices — not easy when the rest of us eat meat — but encounters like this don’t help. A friendly tip: every defensive reply you post only pushes this review higher up the page. But please, do continue — it’s becoming quite the public read.

30/10/2025: Found almost by accident, this tavern turned out to be a pleasant surprise with its wide selection of excellent beers. Seating is available in the tavern or on the outdoor terrace. Service is a little slow but friendly.

14/10/2025: Restaurant in Bellagio in a spectacular location, the restaurant terrace located right on the lake is very pretty, the food we ordered was delicious, the only downside is that due to an error in the kitchen they brought us all the dishes at once according to the waiter, a special mention to the waiter who served us, his name is Mateo and he is of Hispanic American origin, he was very helpful, kind and friendly, it's a pleasure to have professionals like that, congratulations on your service.

13/10/2025: Trattoria San Giacomo is the place you find yourself at after you’ve failed to make dinner reservations elsewhere. The wait isn’t too bad. You are in the prettiest part of Bellagio and they offer pillows that you can sit down on as you wait on the stairs. They try their best to accommodate everyone and the staff is very communicative about timing. The food is not great. Perhaps some dishes are good, but overall not great. I decided to keep it simple—I ordered the pasta dish of the day which was a mushroom pasta and the fresh ricotta and spinach ravioli in sage and butter sauce. The pasta dish with mushrooms was so bad that I had them replace it, which they were kind enough to do with no charge. The mushrooms were boiled, tasteless and soggy. The pasta was served with the boiling water it came with, or that’s what I’m assuming as it was clear and bland. The ricotta ravioli on the other hand was good. Good, but not great. This is definitely a restaurant catered to tourists, which is fine. You’re just not going to have a fantastic meal here.

11/10/2025: We waited in line 45 minutes before they opened as you have to or you won’t get a spot, no reservations accepted. They have cushions you can crab and sit on the steps. Inside they play older American music loudly. Wish they had Italian music, would make for a better ambiance. After we were seated inside a little after 7pm it took 15 minutes to take our drink orders then another 15-20 minutes to get our water and coke delivered. We ordered the salad and soup of the day which were fine after we doused them with salt. We ordered the Osso Buco di Vitelo and the Tagliolini with meat sauce. Both were very bland and had no taste, had to douse them with salt. The beef shank was soft and tasted good after seasoning. The pasta was below average even after seasoning, barely any sauce or meat. Over all disappointed with the experience-this is a very hyped up place and not worth the hoops you have to jump through and time to get in here. We hoped for a better experience, but will not be coming back.

27/10/2025: This restaurant is a must-visit! The food is simply perfect! Everything is perfectly balanced!! The prices are very reasonable! If you come to Bellagio, don't go to the restaurants on the waterfront; come here—you'll truly be pleasantly surprised!!!

26/08/2025: I ate at the Albiro restaurant in Bellagio and was very impressed overall. The menu (five courses) was outstanding, the quality of the food absolutely top-notch. I would particularly like to highlight the service: attentive, warm, and professional. The wine pairing by the sommelier was an experience in itself – something you don't get every day. Why "only" four stars? We enjoyed two bottles of wine during the meal, and at the end I asked if I could get a bottle to take away at a better price. I knew in advance that the same wine costs around €30 in stores. However, in the restaurant, it would cost the same price to take away as it would have if served at the table – namely €115. This disappointed me, because restaurants usually give a fairer price for takeaway, since there's no service included. Unfortunately, this felt inflexible and a bit rude. All in all, it was still a great evening with fantastic food and service – I just wish they had been more accommodating with the wine policy.
