10/01/2026: I organized a walk from the San Michele guesthouse to the Nablus restaurant, where we enjoyed our stay. Starting from the guesthouse, the route is slow, and after about 30 minutes of walking, you reach the restaurant. The road is very scenic, with some slight slopes. The return journey is a bit uphill, but doable on a paved road.
26/10/2025: Nablus was recommended to us by locals, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The view is magnificent, the staff is friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered.

25/12/2025: I stopped by chance, as it was Christmas Day and they were open. The art of baking is truly worth it.
I asked for soft bread and they recommended the ciabatta.
Phenomenal, soft, just the right amount of crunch. I couldn't stop eating them. They're truly excellent, baked to perfection, and they embody all the passion and love for their work.
29/08/2025: Wide selection of pastries and breads. I tried brioche and focaccia, and they were really good. The focaccia was tasty and soft, with just the right amount of oil.

01/11/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant this evening and was truly satisfied! I enjoyed an excellent skewer with polenta and potatoes, prepared to perfection: authentic flavors, impeccable cooking, and generous portions.
The desserts were also a delightful surprise: a delicious baked apple and almond tart and another traditional cake (I think it was called Streuselkuchen) with plums and peaches, with an aroma and flavor reminiscent of Austrian specialties. Both were delicious.
The staff truly deserves praise: welcoming, kind, and very professional, always smiling and attentive to their customers.
The location is splendid, immersed in the tranquility of the mountains, with a stunning view of the lake. A perfect place to relax and enjoy excellent cuisine in a serene and refined atmosphere.
Highly recommended: quality, courtesy, and a heart-warming view. ❤️
19/10/2025: Delicious tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the dessert trolley was also very appetizing.

05/04/2026: The price and quality didn't match. The quantity was too small and the quality wasn't great. They don't need it anyway, as new guests keep coming.
05/04/2026: A great Easter find just steps from the Vittoriale. The char with polenta and tagliata with potatoes were excellent. So was the wine. Attentive and courteous service. A pleasant, rustic place.

18/08/2025: Fantastic location, even though it's inside a hotel, you still feel comfortable even as a restaurant guest.
A good selection of both fish and meat dishes, albeit at a high price. All good, but the Hessian is transcendent.
Service is okay, but perhaps not up to par with the location.
02/08/2025: Very good food, attentive and friendly staff, spectacular location.
The only drawback is the small portions, especially for the price.
Two small pieces of turbot with zucchini, €50. Excessive.

06/04/2026: I stayed at this hotel on the night between Easter and Easter Monday with fairly high expectations, especially given the beauty of the property, which is certainly charming and offers a delightful view. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience was disappointing.
The property appears dated and, in my opinion, never truly renovated. We encountered several issues in the room: non-functioning electrical outlets, an unusable refrigerator, and, most seriously, the bathroom was not clean (the toilet was dirty). Furthermore, the shower was completely missing shower gel and shampoo, a difficult omission for a hotel.
The spa also left mixed feelings: the sauna and Turkish bath were pleasant, but the pool water was cold, making the experience less than relaxing.
When we arrived at 2:15 PM, we were told that the room would be ready at 2:30 PM. We were invited to sit outside and have a drink while we waited. We then ordered four spritzes, but the room wasn't delivered until around 3:15 PM, as it still needed cleaning. This was therefore about a half-hour delay compared to what was communicated.
Considering the mix-up, it would have been fair for the hotel to at least offer the drinks, but instead we were charged for them. A gesture of courtesy in a situation like this would certainly have made a big difference.
In short, the only real strong point is the location and the view. Otherwise, there are several critical issues that need to be addressed, especially in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service.
27/03/2026: Terrible experience, the only splendid thing was the view. After purchasing the gift package, I found myself paying for massages that had already been paid for, lunches and food from other guests that I had to have refunded, supplements on the menu (which is illegal by law), even the water that the waiter (Nico) said on the first night was free, the bottle of wine that was in the package, if I didn't ask for it they would never have given it. Dirty rooms, unkempt gardens due to a lack of staff, aquamarine tablecloths with aberrant stains. I strongly advise against it; I suppose a banal 3-star hotel in Bellaria would be better.

06/04/2026: One night stay over Easter.
Simple hotel but with very nice rooms.
Very comfortable bed and pillows!
The room was clean upon our arrival.
The room overlooks the lake and the main road. But with double windows, it's very quiet.
The only downside is no hot water in the shower.
Breakfast wasn't anything special, so it was good. Tea, coffee, and cappuccino machines. Cakes and pastries. Eggs and bacon. Etc.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent for a weekend.
06/04/2026: An extremely disappointing stay. I'll start with the rooms: aesthetically unappealing, neglected, and with incredibly uncomfortable beds, which made rest a dream. As if that weren't enough, the hot water in the bathroom was a lottery: it rarely came on, forcing me to take unsolicited cold showers.
The breakfast on paper might be rich, but the management is embarrassing. Refill times are so slow that, once a product runs out, it's quicker to end your vacation than to see it return to the buffet. All this is topped off by confused and irritating staff, totally incapable of handling requests or welcoming guests with even the slightest bit of professionalism.
The only two bright spots (which make the rest even more sour):
1. The spa, truly beautiful and well-kept.
2. Parking, always free, although inconveniently located (you have to cross the road immediately after a blind bend).

03/10/2025: Tourist trap?? If you enjoy delicious food and friendly service, this is the place for you. If you're looking for great food at a reasonable price, you're probably better off looking elsewhere. We'll be back anytime!
17/09/2025: A wonderful restaurant! Great view! Special dishes 🥰 and friendly staff! A fantastic evening for us. We ate there last year...we were looking forward to it again this year 🥰...and of course, an evening at Ai Pines is on the cards for next year on Lake Garda 🥰.
I don't understand some of the reviews here...yes, tastes differ, but there's something for everyone in this restaurant!

15/03/2026: So, I ordered pasta con ragù and received pasta with fish. I didn't say anything because the food looked delicious. I was happy, and it was tasty; the only thing that matters to me is that it tastes good. The staff were great, and despite the minor issue, everything else was more or less fine. It's okay if you're not particularly picky.

Ambiente (draußen) 5/5
Das Lokal ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Jedoch ist es wahrscheinlich eine Geschmacksfrage, ob es einem dort gefällt. Es ist eher mediterran und rustikal eingerichtet, was Charme hat. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.
Service 5/5
Ich glaube ich habe noch nie einen besseren Service in einem Restaurant erhalten und gesehen wie in diesem Restaurant. Schnell merkt man, dass hier ein gehobener Service wie auch Küche angeboten wird. Das Personal ist aufgeweckt, schnell, freundlich und nett. Auch bekommt man eine gute Beratung was das Tagesgericht ist sowie in Bezug auf die Auswahl eines Weines.
Food 5/5
Tja, einfach perfekt und exzellent vom Geschmack und der Präsentation. Da dies hier eine gehobene Küche ist, sind jedoch die Portionsgrößen wirklich sehr klein. Jemand der mit sehr großem Hunger kommt muss nachher entweder nochmals bestellen oder wo anders nochmal ein Snack zu sich nehmen.
Preis-/ Leistung 3/5
Die Preise sind hier wirklich sehr hoch. Klar ist, dass man wirklich sehr gut hier essen kann und man auch schnell merkt, dass es was besonderes ist. Jedoch wird es schwer hier mit einer Familie essen zu gehen oder dass man ein kleines Vermögen dar lässt. Wenn ich alles miteinbeziehe, landet es im Mittelfeld.
Fazit: Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich weiterempfehlen. Man speist gut, bekommt einen hervorragenden Service und eigentlich gibt es bis auf die Tatsache, dass es recht teuer ist, nichts negatives zu berichten.
