You leave the Vittoriale hungry, it's 1.30pm, you see a trattoria-pizzeria right in front, what's up, don't you go in? Tourist menu offered for 17.50 euros, written in large format. In reality you then discover that you pay the cover charge separately, all drinks are excluded, even water, and in the end, if you are satisfied with the latter and don't indulge in wine or soft drinks, it becomes 25. While you wait for them to come and take your order, you see dishes of casoncelli being served at the nearby table, beautiful, abundant, steaming, and you decide: I want them. Yours arrive in 10 min. afterwards, half of those you saw in the dishes described previously, barely lukewarm (probably the leftover from the aforementioned batch). For the second course I had a mix of grilled meat: the salamella was good but really small, a lamb chop, always good if you like it (and not everyone does) and a pork chop full of bone splinters (cut really badly !). Excellent coffee! All the condiments (including the grated cheese) are in single-dose sachets, almost like those of a company canteen.

Proprio di fronte all’ingresso del Vittoriale offre un bel giardino ed un servizio cortese e veloce per consumare un pasto in attesa dell’ora di ingresso. I bigoli al pesce di lago meritano, non proprio al dente (si è circondati da turisti germanici….) ma con un gustosissimo condimento. Prezzi buoni

Had lunch here after a beautiful visit to the Vittoriale. We took pizza, but the menu also offers meat and fish restaurant dishes and burgers. Good service and environment, but it is always crowded "due to" the Vittoriale so you need to be patient. Helpful and courteous staff.

Posto molto onesto nei prezzi e nelle pietanze, con un ottimo rapporto fra qualita e prezzo.. Tutto di qualità, se amanti della pasta al dente scegliete quella fresca. Location molto bella con quello spirito famigliare che la rende più accogliente. Quando dobbiamo mangiare a pranzo è tappa fissa. Consigliato

Very good food and great service

Passing through as soon as we left the Vittoriale, we discovered a cool corner, with a well-kept and welcoming lake view. Superb wild boar tagliatelle and bigoli with lake ragù! Excellent tourist menu at 17 (drinks separately). We'll be back!!!

Zijn er elke dag geweest, eten is goed en betaalbaar. Lieve mensen en zeer gastvrij.

Die ganzen negativen Bewertungen trafen bei unserem Besuch gar nicht zu. Sehr nette Kellnerin, das Essen kam sehr schnell und hat auch gut geschmeckt. Haben am Ende für 2 Pizzen mit Getränken 27€ gezahlt und haben noch einen Limoncello gratis bekommen. Wie gesagt kein Verständnis für die negativen Bewertungen

Wir waren etwas verwundert, dass dieses Restaurant so schlecht bewertet ist, da wir eigentlich soweit zufrieden waren. Das Essen war nicht schlecht und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gepasst. Die Kellnerin konnte nicht perfekt englisch, aber war sehr nett. Wir haben ein bisschen Brot und Wurst als Vorspeise und einen Limoncello aufs Haus als Absacker bekommen. Außerdem ist der Ausblick auch nicht schlecht und man kann schön auf eine Kirche und daneben auf den Gardasee schauen.
